A question of ...is it 'hate' or is it just vandalism in the grass? Opinions Please!

They keep saying that this is a symbol of hate (see video below)...well if you compare the policies of Hitler and Obama they're almost identical. So where do they get the idea that hate is involved? If one were objective in their analysis I think the vandals where simply expressing the similarities between Hitler and Obama. I don't like the symbol anymore than anyone else but you can't accuse anyone of being hateful just because they express their agreement with Obama albeit the vandalism is wrong. I personnally feel the message in the grass whether completed or not, expresses most Americans disagreement with Obama's policies. Nobody that I know of has expressed "hate". Hate implies emotion and I can't get emotional over some sign in the grass. By the way...Hitler didn't kill anyone...his henchmen did! I would be more fearful of Obama's henchmen than some vandals. Now if you really want to see a symbol of hate that most Americans can get emotional about just look below. ~ Norman E. Hooben

This is pure unadulterated hate for America! Why is this not on the television news?

Symbol carved into green at Lakeville golf course

LAKEVILLE, Mass -- Police along with the Secret Service are investigating after a local country club discovered a symbol resembling a swastika carved into the green.

Lakeville County Club workers discovered the vandalism early Monday morning.

Carved into the green on the 18th hole was a swastika look-a-like next to President Barack Obama's name.

The vandals snuck in at night and carved their message of hate, according to the owner of the country club.

"We don't know if they did it with some type of cleated shoe, or they had some type of tool and this time of year to have that happen, it's a problem it's much harder to fix now," said Lou Mincone, the assistant manager of the Lakeville Country Club.

The manager is trying to figure out the best way to get rid of it.

Workers attempted to cover it temporarily with green spray paint; however, the symbol was carved too deep. They will now try to get turf from another area to fill in the message.

Work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday morning.

Is the vandal[s] ignorant, stupid or sending a different message than people perceive?

This "swastika" is backwards of the Nazi symbol and more in line with the Buddhist or Tibetan symbol used still in Asia.

While the swastika may be backwards.. so is Obama!

As one who has had an association with Buddhist, I recognized this symbol for what it was. I was given one many years ago by a Vietnamese lady form Saigon. She explained that it was a good luck symbol. The Nazi symbol, which would be appropriate for the Obama administration, stands for tyranny and oppression.
I do not agree with the way this symbol has been put on display. Yes it is an act of vandalism. In this case, however, it is probably some stupid idiots out there who are involved in hate.
