As for your statement of “we don't admit to the other part", why, there is nothing wrong with being English. I know plenty of English people and they were good honest people, your entire statement trys to claim that being English makes you somehow reprehensible, well in that case I can say that there are many on this planet who think that having an American patent is the height of being detestable due to your nations, and people's, actions and attitudes to the rest of the planet.

As for the main part of your question, the average English person doesn't care, the same way the average Irish person couldn't give a flying fuck so long as he does not meddle in our affairs, only the die hards in both nations have something to say and anything they do is not and never worth listening to to begin with!
