White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has a tenuous relationship with the truth.
Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts stepped in to stop a lower court judge’s ruling that Title 42 could expire while the Court decides its fate.
The Supreme Court is mulling over whether to take up a legal challenge to keep the policy in place from Republican states or side with the Biden regime and let it expire.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is furiously trying to lie and deny her way out of the border crisis unfolding under Biden.
At a press briefing before the Supreme Court stepped in, temporarily keeping Title 42 in place, she denied that the border was open.
“I want to be very clear here. The fact is that the removal of Title 42 does not mean the border is open,” Jean-Pierre said. “Anyone who suggests otherwise is simply doing the work of these smugglers who, again, are spreading misinformation which is very dangerous.”
The Border Patrol is bracing upwards of 18,000 illegals attempting to cross per day if Title 42 expires, more than double the current amount.
She added, “It would be wrong to think the border is open. It is not open.”
Record numbers of illegals have entered the country during the worst border crisis in the country’s history.
President of the National Border Patrol Council Brandon Judd unloaded on Jean-Pierre for claiming the border isn’t open in an appearance on Just the News, No Noise.
“Her title should be ‘chief of propaganda,'” Judd said. “That’s what it should be. Apparently, she does not want the American public to know the truth. She wants it to be withheld from them.”
Jean-Pierre has repeatedly denied that illegals are walking into the country despite the mountain of evidence to the contrary.
