For there is going to come a time when people won't listen to the truth.

2 Timothy 4
1. I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingly power 2. proclaim the word; be persistent whether it is convenient or inconvenient; convince, reprimand, encourage through all patience and teaching.
3. For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine but, following their own desires and insatiable curiosity, will accumulate teachers
4. and will stop listening to the truth and will be diverted to myths.

I've never referred to myself as a religious person or a bible thumping religious zealot albeit my predominance with the values and/or principles of that of our Founding Fathers is the core of my beliefs. Unlike writers such as Amanda Marcotte who is...now here I have a loss of words...but what I'm looking for is a description of one who would like to impose their ideology upon the rest of us regardless of the harm it does to our country as a whole. Amanda writes a scathing editorial badmouthing Christians and/or Republicans as if they were one and the same and the main cause of what's wrong with America...or to use her terminology, "cripple America".
First, I would identify as a Christian and not as a Republican...and never a Democrat (Remember, Democrats got rid of God in their last convention). I would argue that those who refer to themselves as Democrats or Republicans have neither the principles nor the ideology that formed our Constitutional Republic. Members of both parties look for someone who will tell them just what they want to hear. Hey, wait a minute, did I just read that in 2 Timothy 4 depicted above? Think maybe I should start reading that bible more often...it seems to know what's going on today although written before we had our current calendar. As for our friend Amanda when you go back to her vicious attack on Christians you will note her intense dislike and extreme hostility toward the bible thumpers... Hey, wait another minute, didn't I just define the word, "hate"...aah that's the word I was looking for...Amanda is a hater...sorry 'bout that Amanda, but you fit the description as you blithely follow your own misguided ideas. ~ Norman E. Hooben

PS: If you look at what's going on in our country today
both Democrats and Republicans think their ideas are best...but if you really
look, you will note that both parties are misguided by the forces of
selfishness, greed, and power...and they both lie like hell. When
you vote (if you vote) in the next election, you are not voting for the
president...the Democrat or the Republican Party vote for the president...not
you the individual...it's the party, they just like you to think it's
you.
George Washington warned us that political parties would
lead to the eradication of the freedoms established by the Founding Fathers...
He was so right!
___________
An example of a cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled man is described by Lou Dobbs in the following video. That man should be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution.

Meanwhile...
What/Who do you suppose the writer is referring to in the following narrative?
Friends, what you see happening in America is a series of "Silent Weapons" being applied to our society They are designed to create chaos and stress on a population in order that the population cannot detect these silent weapons, leaving them unable to resist them. There is a Quiet War being waged against the American people by the VERY SUBVERTERS that our Founders warned us about, and that Stalin promised would destroy America from within. ALL of this chaos is organized. This technique is called "Problem, Reaction, Solution". The controllers use their Media to either create a "problem", or use an existing "problem", to create Chaos. They then use their Media to guide a certain "reaction" from the masses. That guided "reaction" is normally a DEMAND from the People for a "solution" to the "problem". Then, the Media is used to plant a few selected "solutions" for the masses to choose from. The Media then guides the masses toward the "solution" that the Elite wanted in the first place. An Agency, Congress, or the President then implement that "solution" which the People demanded. And its always a swap of our rights for the promise of greater security!
The key is to make the People ASK for the "change", then we will be more willing to tolerate its negative results.
Our enemies are very smart, brilliant people!
They just happen to be evil as hell!
Would it help if I gave you a hint?

Muslims, they feel themselves to be Americans... What !!! Are you kidding me ???
“Our biggest advantage, Major, is that our Muslim populations, they feel themselves to be Americans, and there is this incredible process of immigration and assimilation that is part of our tradition that is probably our greatest strength.” ~ Barack Hussein Obama
Hey Obama! What the hell kind of assimilation is this ↓ ?
Muslims Say Fallen U.S. Soldiers Should NOT Be Honored on Memorial Day

by Gina Cassini | Top Right News
The Muslim Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has decided that Memorial Day should not honor those American soldiers who have died, instead, it should honor those Muslim terrorists who were killed by American soldiers.
You read that right. As nearly all Americans come together on Memorial Day to honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for the country’s freedom and safety, two CAIR officials spent the holiday weekend differently: questioning whether U.S. troops deserve to be honored and tweeting that the country was “established upon white supremacy.”
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a group labeled by the Justice Department as a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity and “un-indicted co-conspirator” in a terrorism-financing trial, disingenuously claims that it is a moderate organization.
Yet, on May 23, Zahra Billoo, the radical executive-director of CAIR’s San Francisco Bay Area chapter, tweeted that she “struggles with Memorial Day each year” about whether to honor American soldiers who died in wars:

She also quoted another CAIR official, Dawud Walid, the executive-director of CAIR’s Michigan chapter, as questioning whether they should honor American soldiers that died in “unjust” wars and occupations.
That’s a direct insult to American soldiers currently serving in Afghanistan and those that have returned from Iraq, as CAIR officials consistently describe those wars with that terminology. Billoo quoted Walid as saying:

Billoo did, however, find one “soldier” she felt comfortably honoring. On May 26, she promoted an article from the anti-Semitic and anti-American Nation of Islam that asked for help for a “black liberation soldier” named Imam Jamil al-Amin:

Al-Amin was a member of the Black Panthers terrorist group and was convicted of murdering a police officer in 2000. He is also anti-American, stating “if America doesn’t come around, we’re gonna burn it down,” and “I say violence is necessary. It is as American as cherry pie.”
Al-Amin also said the U.S. Constitution is “diametrically opposed to what Allah has commanded.”
THIS is who CAIR wants to honor on Memorial Day? A racist, anti-American cop-killer?
Walid, the other CAIR official, took it further yesterday Tweeting:

And they are not the only CAIR officials caught defending terrorists. Last year, the Clarion Project reported on how the chairman of the board for CAIR’s Arizona chapter, sent out tweets depicting the U.S. military as “occupiers” and “murderers.”
So a Muslim organization that Barack Obama invites to secret White House meetings, and wants you to believe is as American as apple pie, is caught once against denouncing America, and supporting Muslim jihadists

Climate Change...The doom fantasy!
More climate change hysteria: shifting the poles
By Thomas Lifson
Is there any sort of doom fantasy that can’t be blamed on
What is so remarkable about the cult of doom built around the manmade
The north pole [sic] is on the run. Although it can drift as much as 10 meters across a century, sometimes returning to near its origin, it has recently taken a sharp turn to the east. Climate change is the likely culprit….
Likely, as in not proven, but we think so. And why does the Scientific American think so?
The data do not indicate whether the recent climate changes are man-made, but [Jianli] Chen [a geophysicist at The University of Texas at Austin who first proposed the hypothesis] personally believes the drastic shift in the pole has to be the result of human activities. So it is a personal belief not based on data. It just has to be the cause. Like a religion, except claiming a scientific basis and published as a near certainty by the most prestigious popularizer of science in the United States.

How does one man upset the entire state's budget? (This is great ! Tsk, tsk, oh those poor politicians!)
New Jersey has to rethink its budget because one guy moved
Source: Business Insider by Linette Lopez
If you move away from your home state, some friends might throw you a party. Maybe you'll get a happy-hour discount at your local bar.
If you're really a big deal, you might get to throw out the first pitch at your local minor-league baseball team's next game.
Other than that, everything will be pretty much the same after you're gone.
That is, of course, unless you're billionaire David Tepper.
If you are him, then when you move away you have the potential to send your whole state ( in this case New Jersey) into red-alert mode.
Tepper, the founder of the hedge fund Appaloosa Management, moved to Florida last fall. This, according to Bloomberg, has leaders of his former state very concerned.
From Bloomberg:
New Jersey probably has some precise numbers on that too

Tepper, the founder of the hedge fund Appaloosa Management, moved to Florida last fall. This, according to Bloomberg, has leaders of his former state very concerned.
From Bloomberg:
"We may be facing an unusual degree of income-tax forecast risk," Frank Haines, budget and finance officer with the Office of Legislative Services told a Senate committee Tuesday in Trenton.
New Jersey relies on personal income taxes for about 40 percent of its revenue, and less than 1 percent of taxpayers contribute about a third of those collections, according to the legislative services office. A one percent forecasting error in the income-tax estimate can mean a $140 million gap, Haines said.
Tepper, who founded his hedge fund in 1993 after working at Goldman Sachs, is worth $10.6 billion to $11.6 billion, depending on whom you ask (Forbes or Bloomberg).New Jersey probably has some precise numbers on that too
