In a revelation that will surprise no one who watched President Trump spend years exposing the foreign-aid swamp, records now show Barack Obama locked in annually recurring USAID funding for Chelsea Clinton’s foundation. The money was sold to the public as a humanitarian program delivering afternoon meals to children in Africa, India, and Bangladesh. Instead it has become a reliable $3.9 million annual transfer from American taxpayers into the Clinton family’s orbit, continuing year after year with almost no public scrutiny.
The results are grotesque. As of today the foundation claims to have served just 11,886 meals. That works out to an astonishing $1,410 per meal, more than many working families spend on food in an entire month. Meanwhile Chelsea Clinton’s personal net worth sits at $70 million, her husband Marc Mezvinsky’s at $45 million, and she has already collected a $52 million inheritance. The couple holds $25 million in real estate, maintains an eight-car collection, and spends $100,000 every month. The contrast between the luxury lifestyle and the tiny number of actual meals delivered is impossible to ignore.
Chelsea Clinton has produced no independent record of accomplishment that would justify this pipeline of public money. She inherited the name, the connections, and now a standing USAID allocation that President Obama put in place. The episode is a textbook example of the waste and self dealing Trump campaigned against; elite families treating foreign-aid accounts as personal endowments while the children the program is supposed to feed remain an afterthought. Voters who backed Trump’s America First approach to foreign spending saw this coming a long time ago.
