A few minutes later I happened to check in on Facebook where I wrote this comment below a picture someone found on Twitter, " Sometime I wonder if people put these 'Tweets' out there just to be funny...after all nobody can be that stupid...or can they? If they're that stupid this country is in bigger trouble than previously thought." ...and what was the picture about you ask? Here it is:
How dumb is that? Does this person vote? How dumb of me to ask? Just look at who's in power...a bunch of dumb politicians!
All this dumb stuff brings to mind another article (from We The People of Cape Cod) which describes where some of the fault lies within our dumbed down society. It's a good read but I doubt very seriously the dumb tweeter will read a single word...there's a certain satisfaction in being dumb...one, you probably don't know it and two, you probably don't care. ~ Norman E. Ignorant and Dumb
by We The People of Cape Cod
Best said by Thomas Jefferson, “I know no safe depositary of the ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them, but to inform their discretion by education. This is the true corrective of abuses of constitutional power.” –Thomas Jefferson to W. Jarvis, 1820. (Emphasis added.)
He was referring to the citizens of his time and not our modern generation. Without disparaging the efforts of many good teachers, the fact remains that we do not teach our children the origins of their country, the documents on which it was founded, nor the reason why we should adhere to the controls and restraints such documents established.
We appear to be training our children to be ignorant and stupid.
This is the only plausible explanation for the succession of failed (by their own admission) federal programs of education starting with Goals 2000 and currently attempting to jam through Common Core.
Even a quick reading of the Constitution fails to provide justification for any of these programs since there is nothing in the document to support the establishment of a Department of Education nor the involvement of the federal government in the schooling of our children.
For those who feel that the criticism of “ignorant and stupid” is too harsh for the results of the failed programs attempted, one only has to review the downward rankings of the American students as compared with other industrialized nations of the world. From a position of leadership and academic achievement, the US now ranks well below the top spots, most of which go to Asiatic countries and their students.
Take a realistic look at what our students leaving high school today can recite with respect to the founding of their country, the documents on which its government was based and the position of their country vis-Ă -vis the other nations of the world. They can tell you more about the latest hip music, sexual activities, and degenerate movies/tv. Hardly a sound basis for participation in the important activity of being an involved citizen.
While the Founding Fathers were staunch believers in education, they also firmly believed that it started in the home and that schools should reinforce, not redirect, what the children were being taught at home. Granted that in the revolutionary days, the single most important book studied was the Bible. Certainly not a bad source if you are interested in children who know the difference between right and wrong, have a moral foundation by which to judge their and their associates actions and believe they have a purpose in this world. After all, they read in the Declaration that “all men (that included them or so at least they were told) are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights . . .”
When a high school student is asked today where their rights come from, the majority, according to recent surveys, say the government. That is a 180 degree flip from the Declaration and can only lead to ultimate destruction of the nation into which they were born. Such a concept is found in all socialist (or socialist/democrat) nations. Lest it be forgotten too quickly, a government with the power to grant rights also has the power to take them away – at any time!
If we can stop the government’s destructive educational programs and reaffirm for our children the foundations on which their nation was built, we will get back on track and resume our rightful place in the real world!

In 2008 a test was given...see photo below. Is there any doubt about how retarded Americans are? We have computer games to play; we have sports channels to watch; we have arenas to go to; we have a useless government controlled education system; we have pretty much an extremely low % of people that know our history and NO ONE in DC gives a hoot or a holler...and there are 0% of any libtard that knows anything about anything.
