Someone wrote to me the other day and said that there was no such thing as a moron. Well if that is so why are there people who are notably stupid or who lack good judgement? (That, by the way, is an informal definition of moron.) Jill Filipovic, an attorney and pro-abortionist, is interviewed by Jesse Lee Peterson regarding the practice of abortion and she is definitely lacking in good judgement. Now I don't know if she is notably stupid but she does fulfill the requirement of at least 50% moron. Filipovic refuses to admit that abortion is murder...she calls it a procedure. Well there are people out there that have no problem cutting other people's heads off...and to them it's not murder, its just a procedure one has to do to eliminate the unwanted...and it's legal in their country! For an attorney, all Filipovic is concernerd about is, 'is it legal' and not whether it is right or wrong. Taking a life is murder no matter how it is defined and murder is wrong! I would pose this question for the legal doctor: If an American Muslim invited her to Iraq (or any Muslim country) and once there, cut her head off...would that be murder or a legal procedure to eliminate the unwanted? ~ Norman E. Why then it would be murder!
Norman, thank you for the contributing comment that you left on my blog.
Murder is a crime in the western world and 'wrong' in the sense of natural law but when the taking of a life has no moral value or consequence then it may be considered an heroic deed, a procedure, or any description other than murder as long as the act benefitted the societal goals of the one(s) committing the act. When a soldier in battle kills an enemy it is not murder nor is it a violation of natural law... it's self-preservation...or any description other than murder! In the Muslim world a beheading is look upon as some righteous act or ceremony recognizing the dictates of the Quran...the same as 'honor killings' are never considered murder but a correction to right a wrong. So it all depends on what side of the fence you're on...one side is murder the other is a heroic deed...
