Law Of The Sea Treaty (LOST)

The Worst Treaty In The History Of Mankind

Why?
The number one reason: It is the first time in the history of mankind that a leader of sovereign nation is willing to surrender that sovereignty against the will of it's peoples to a corrupt lesser power which will dictate to the people that which the Assembly decides...and thus removes the voting power of the people.
The Assembly will decide upon which laws they will obey and put themselves above the law of all participating states. The Assembly will exempt themselves from all taxes and yet tax the member states for the privilege of such obscene membership. The Assembly will not be subject to any Legislative or Executive branch of any of the member states...thus making a mockery out of any voting privileges remaining with the people. The landlocked member states will have free and open passage across neighboring states to obtain access to the oceans. The Assembly will have the right of passage anywhere among and over the member states to enforce their laws with complete immunity from all other laws unless they decide to give up that immunity.
The Law Of The Sea Treaty will discourage Capitalism in that the Assembly will charge enormous fees for the privilege of mining the ocean floor (sea bed). Any such entrepreneur willing to attempt such endeavors must share his findings with member states chosen by the Assembly.

SUBSECTION G. LEGAL STATUS, PRIVILEGES AND
IMMUNITIES
Article 176
Legal status
The Authority shall have international legal personality and such legal
capacity as may be necessary for the exercise of its functions and the
fulfilment of its purposes.
Article 177
Privileges and immunities
To enable the Authority to exercise its functions, it shall enjoy in the
territory of each State Party the privileges and immunities set forth in this
subsection. The privileges and immunities relating to the Enterprise shall be
those set forth in Annex IV, article 13.

Article 178
Immunity from legal process
The Authority, its property and assets, shall enjoy immunity from legal
process except to the extent that the Authority expressly waives this immunity
in a particular case.
Article 179
Immunity from search and any form of seizure
The property and assets of the Authority, wherever located and by
whomsoever held, shall be immune from search, requisition, confiscation,
expropriation or any other form of seizure by executive or legislative action.
Article 180
Exemption from restrictions, regulations, controls and moratoria
The property and assets of the Authority shall be exempt from
restrictions, regulations, controls and moratoria of any nature.
Article 181
Archives and official communications of the Authority
1. The archives of the Authority, wherever located, shall be inviolable.
2. Proprietary data, industrial secrets or similar information and
personnel records shall not be placed in archives which are open to public
inspection.
3. With regard to its official communications, the Authority shall be
accorded by each State Party treatment no less favourable than that accorded
by that State to other international organizations.
Article 182
Privileges and immunities of certain persons connected with the Authority
Representatives of States Parties attending meetings of the Assembly, the
Council or organs of the Assembly or the Council, and the Secretary-General
and staff of the Authority, shall enjoy in the territory of each State Party:
(a) immunity from legal process with respect to acts performed by them
in the exercise of their functions, except to the extent that the State
which they represent or the Authority, as appropriate, expressly
waives this immunity in a particular case;....

It is unfortunate that most senators have taken the road of
bill clinton by taking his word that the treaty is revised.
And if President Bush who I love in his stand on the WOT would stop listening to his Father & bill clinton and listen to us we'd be better off and so would he.
LOST is nothing but a gotcha game driven by the communists & dictators in the UN assembly.
It's sad when our senators are playing russian roulette with our Country & it's values.

THE UN IS CORRUPT WE ALL KNOW IT so what part of that don't the damn senators understand?

There was a Chemistry professor in a large college that had some Exchange students in the class. One day while the class was in the lab the Prof noticed one young man (exchange student) who kept rubbing his back And stretching as if his back hurt.
The professor asked the young man what was the matter. The student told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his country's government and install a new communist government.
In the midst of his story he looked at the professor and asked a strange question. He asked,'Do you know how to catch wild pigs?' The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line. The young man said this was no joke. 'You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come everyday to eat the free corn. When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence. They get used to that and start to eat again. You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side. The pigs, who are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat, you slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd. Suddenly, the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity. The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening to America.
The government keeps pushing us toward Communism/Socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine, drugs, etc. while we continually lose our freedoms- just a little at a time.
One should always remember 'There is no such thing as a free Lunch!' Also, 'You can never hire someone to provide a service for you cheaper than you can do it yourself.

You apparently don't share a sense of patriotism, Americanism, freedomism, or whatever kind of 'ism' that true Americans believe in...
