On July 28th, Beck made a comment on the Fox & Friends morning show about Obama’s reaction to the arrest of Dr. Henry Louis Gates Jr. During the discussion of “Professor-Gate,” Beck connected the President’s past association with Rev. Jeremiah Wright to Obama’s comment that Cambridge police officer, Sgt. James Crowley, acted stupidly. Though Beck acknowledged most of the Obama administration is in fact white, he concluded that the President’s world experience made him a “racist.”
Now “Color of Change” has bullied at least five of Beck’s big advertisers -- SC Johnson, Progressive Insurance, Geico, Procter & Gamble and Nexus Lexis -- to pull their ads from Beck’s national cable program. Jones, the founder of “Color of Change,” was named Special Advisor for Green Jobs at the White House Council on Environmental Quality -- a key administrative post -- this past March.
But but but it was Obama who made the racist remark about Crowley. So let's boycott BHO and all of his legislation.
Seriously, folks, put your money where your mouth is. The left may have the media mouthpiece, but we have the masses. Do not forget that.

The Wimps at GEICO respond: BOYCOTT GEICO
Atlas reader Richard wrote to GEICO about their pulling their ads from the Glenn Beck show. Their pathetic excuse, "little benefit to us if a program gets so much attention that our message is drowned out". They will advertise on vile TV shows and such but real news offends them. Their unpatriotic stand against free speech shoudl offend YOU, please your business today.
Here is their cop out.
In reference to your inquiry about our advertising, we recently took action to move our marketing messages from the Glenn Beck show.
If the inflammatory nature of the comments on a program overshadows our message and causes GEICO to be drawn into a national debate, we are likely to reconsider where we place our marketing messages, which is what we did.
GEICO delivers very important messages through its major marketing campaigns: we’re saving customers’ dollars, we’re easy to do business with, we’re looking out for our policyholders. That’s what we hope the public hears and sees and focuses on.
As a company, we do not take positions on controversial issues.
As an advertiser, while a national debate on issues can be healthy and appropriate, we don’t see ourselves in the role of taking part in those debates. /span>
Our business is auto insurance. We want to bring people value and we attempt to reach large audiences with that message.
It is of little benefit to us if a program gets so much attention that our message is drowned out.

It WAS NOT a government insurance company...the name may be decieving...Government Employees does not mean 'Government' owned.
The company solicited governmnet employees...especially in the overseas markets. In fact I had a GEICO policy while stationed in Okinawa in the 1960's ...it was about all an enlisted man could get while the officers could get USAA at a lessor premium...something I always thought of as slightly unfair.
