Despite what the political parties would like you to believe, the problem in America is not the politicians; it is the pulpits. I hate to break the news to you, but most of America’s pulpits are filled with cowardly men. They are a shame to the Christ they claim to serve.
Harsh words, aren’t they? Not the type of thing that will make any friends in this “cheap-Grace” culture in which we live. But that’s okay. I’m not looking to make friends.
I am about fed-up with what I see. How did we ever get such man-pleasing leaders? All that our forefathers held dear is being destroyed before our very eyes, and hardly a peep from the pulpit. They don’t want to hear it. It’s the pulpiteers that I am talking about. They are concerned with being ” too harsh”; they tell me that “Jesus is in control,” that they are not “called” to fight evil, and that “we should pray for our enemies.”
Where have these guys come from? What we need is a return of the Voice of God thundering through the prophets standing in America’s pulpits. Not the prissy Purpose Driven drivel passing as the Gospel today. The feminized-preachers of today cannot hold a candle to those who ushered in The Great Awakening, which led to the American Revolution and the abolition of slavery — two world-changing events spearheaded by the pulpit.
Listen to the message of America’s premiere preachers today. Rick Warren and his Purpose Driven Life have infiltrated the Church. Over 400,000 pastors have attended his conferences, and over 40 million of his books have been sold. Wikipedia tells us “Since September 2002, over 30,000 congregations, corporations, and sports teams across the United States have participated in a ’40 Days of Purpose’ emphasis. A May 2005 survey of American pastors and ministers conducted by George Barna asked Christian leaders to identify what books were the most influential on their lives and ministries.” The Purpose Driven Life was the most frequent response. Today’s Christians are more familiar with the words of Warren than the Words of Jesus. Thousands of America’s churches have used it in their Bible studies, and thousands of preachers preach Warren’s message.
Joel Osteen was voted Most Influential Christian in 2006. His preaching style focuses on “the goodness of God rather than sin.” He is a self-described “Life-coach” and “thinks that there are probably others better qualified, or more gifted for explaining Bible verses. Osteen explains that he tries to teach Biblical principles in a simple way, emphasizing the power of love and a positive attitude…Presently, Osteen and several Lakewood Church team members travel across the nation, presenting programs in large stadiums to a paying public.” (Source: Wikipedia.) He has sold millions of books to millions of feel-good Christians.
While our nation is killing babies, our schools are indoctrinating Christian-kids in Secular Humanism, and “Truth has fallen in the streets,” our preachers are attending church-growth seminars, using ‘self-help” books to supplement the Bible, and chasing after the butts and bucks. They are fiddling while the nation burns, building their church rather than Christ’s Kingdom.

  • Obama says the Sermon on the Mount justifies gay marriage.

  • Faith-based initiatives invite the government into the Church.
  • The IRS muzzles the voice of the Church.
  • Taxes are levied to do the work of the Church.

  • The Church locks arms with compassionate-conservatism.
  • Children’s service agencies separate family members.
  • Self-help books replace the Bible.
  • A Purpose Driven Life is elevated above dying to self.

  • G.W. Bush says Christians and Muslims worship the same God.
  • The Constitution is ignored.
  • Pagans pray to open a session of Congress.
  • Our elected officials lie and steal.
…and the pulpits are silent
  • Private property is stolen by government.
  • Mother Earth is protected more than Father God is exalted.
  • Illegal aliens overrun our borders.
  • The American Presidency is more anti-Christian than any White House in history.
  • The entertainment industry celebrates and promotes debauchery.
…and the pulpits are silent

From a bygone era, the sound from the pulpit rumbles throughout the ages:
“Could a mariner sit idle if he heard the drowning cry?
Could a doctor sit in comfort and just let his patients die?
Could a fireman sit idle, let men burn and give no hand?

The voice from the pulpit today sings a different song. “The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?” Jeremiah 5:31.

Truth, justice, and the American way are a thing of the past.

None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.” Isaiah 59:4.

And tragically, the pulpits are silent.

Courtroom Drama ~ Judge Attacks Attorney

Video: Hot-head judge loses it! Gets down off bench to violently attack attorney
Brevard County Judge John Murphy had one nasty temper-tantrum before ultimately beating up a public defender just outside the Florida courtroom Monday, according to local news reports and a pretty wild video.
The scuffle began when Murphy allegedly tried to pressure seasoned public defender Andrew Weinstock to convince his client to waive his right to a speedy trial, according to WFTV.
After what appeared to be some normal legal chatter, the judge became angry and sparks flew.
According to the video, the exchange led to the age-old dare to “take this outside”:
“You know, if I had a rock I would throw it at you right now,” Murphy told the attorney from the bench. “Stop pissing me off. Just sit down.”
“You know I’m the public defender. I have a right to be here and I have a right to stand and represent my client,” Weinstock replied.
The two can then be seen on video walking out to the hallway on Murphy’s suggestion.
“If you want to fight, let’s go out back and I’ll just beat your ass,” Murphy told Weinstock on the way out of the courtroom.
The camera captured those who were left in the courtroom listening to the sound of yelling (obscenities) and loud thuds from the hallway. They clapped when it was over.
“The attorney said that immediately upon entering the hallway he was grabbed by the collar and began to be struck, “Weinstock’s supervisor told WFTV . “There was no discussion, no talk, not even time for anything. Just as soon as they’re in the hallway, the attorney was grabbed.”
The judge was allowed to catch his breath and go back to the bench to finish his other rulings, according to the report. There were no arrests, but the incident will be reported to the Florida Bar.
I guess if you are a judge, it’s not illegal to threaten people with violence and then physically attack them. Who knew?

Your Face: NSA Collecting Millions of Americans’ Images

(NEW YORK) — The National Security Agency‘s mining of personal data goes well beyond emails and phone calls.
According to The New York Times, newly uncovered information leaked by former contractor Edward Snowden regarding NSA intelligence gathering reveals the spy agency has also been collecting “millions of images a day” of Americans and foreigners for use in sophisticated facial recognition programs.
Furthermore, 55,000 of these images mined from social media, private emails and video conferencing were “facial recognition quality images.”
If the report is true, it would take several years before the images of all adult Americans appear in the agency’s database.
The Times noted that the exact number of Americans whose facial images have been gathered by the NSA is unknown. However, current laws about surveillance and privacy apparently don’t apply to the collection of faces from web images.
Increasingly, the U.S. community is turning to facial recognition, fingerprints and other identifiers as important tools in fighting domestic and international terrorism. Meanwhile, privacy rights experts say this is yet another intrusion into the personal lives of Americans.

The U. S. of A. ...the dismal report

At what point do we say America is done...finished, gone, no longer exists, the end!   As of January 2014 the Congress (thats both houses, U.S. Senate and House of Representatives) had a 13% approval rating.  That's pretty dismal!  And although all the results are not in, it appears that most incumbents are winning in their primaries in this off year (non-presidential) election cycle.  That's pretty dismal!  The axiom, "ignorance is bliss" is alive and well as the voters display their ignorant results.  They are rewarding the incumbents for failure and they seem very happy about it; else why do they vote for more of the same.  That's pretty dismal! 
What's even more dismal is that Obama will be attempting a third term on his way up the dictator's ladder...the 22nd Amendment be damned!  Here's the headline over at the National Report:

In the history of this country only one president has served more than two terms, Franklin D. Roosevelt (Note from Norm: I corrected the error in the original transcript). The major problem for Obama when he runs in 2016, is the 22nd Amendment. The over bearing narcissistic Obama believes he can win his dictator's cap because he has backers who express his wishes openly.  There's Cass Sunstein, George Soros, and Zbigniew Brzezinski all of whom are paid advisers because of their anti-American views but the most famous backer and ideologue is non other than Oprah Winfrey.  Oprah has openly stated what most dictators must do in order to get control...they like to kill people.  Can you imagine Obama's smile when Oprah said, “There are still generations of people, older people, who were born and bred and marinated in it, in that prejudice and racism, and they just have to die.”  ...read more at U.S. Patriot

Well if dieing is not dismal enough how about your children taking on the role of thought police and reporting you to the authorities .  This is no joke...get this:
Last week, Michelle Obama made headlines when she exhorted graduating high schoolers in a commencement address to monitor their families for politically incorrect thoughts and behaviors.
To one journalist, this was more than an off-hand comment made by the first lady. In the opinion of Cheryl Chumley, a reporter for The Washington Times and the author of “Police State USA,” Michelle Obama’s remark reflects a growing trend in America to target and attack individuals for committing “thought crime.”  Yahoo News has the full story here

NBC Claims All Americans Will Be Implanted With Microchips For Obamacare
Recently, NBC predicted that in 2017, we will all be tagged with microchip, implanted to help identify individuals immediately.  According to the report, the technology is used to answer one question, “Am I who I say I am?”
Some worry, however, that the RFID Microchip will give the government too much power, allowing them to track every move. In some states, like Virginia, legislation is in process to stop his from happening.

If the Founding Fathers were around today they would say, "We didn't build that!"  Nothing in the above commentary resembles anything that may be construed as Constitutional and with that said I can say, "The end."  The end of of the U.S. of A. Pretty dismal!  But you know the most dismal thing of all is that no one in the Congress has the intestinal fortitude to put a stop to this Obamanation.  I'll have more faith in our future when hear we the people repeating, "That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government."
