The DOJ...just another day at the office

Update November 11, 2014: As of this date still only 5,219 views...an increase of 731.  Repeat the "...but nobody cares." line here.
This kind of news will not deter Obama and Company from continuing on their path of destruction.  The American people are too blind to see the writing on the wall.  Starting with members of Congress all the way down to the ignoramus who lives up the hill across the way...that middle aged lady who proudly displays the Obama bumper sticker.  I get these news tips every day from a multitude of sources with each declaring some sort of impropriety or mischievous conduct.  Nothing is ever done about it...the Constitution continues to be shredded as if it no longer existed...America is no longer sustainable and the people look the other way... This guy, Tony West, will not go away just because somebody put up this YouTube video.  When I transferred the video here there was only 4,488 views.  If enough people were concerned about Obama's shenanigans there should have been over fifty million views...but nobody cares.  So this is just another blip in the scheme of things...Obama and Company are controlling the masses ('cept me and the one other person that may be reading this) and guys like Tony West will continue to exist to see the transformation of what was once considered the best place on earth to some hell hole celebrating diversity. ~ Norman E. Good Cop, Bad Cop

Updated Dec 5, 2012 see below

In the first video the Sheriff did exactly what any good American law enforcement officer should do.  The officer did exactly what he is paid to do...protect the rights of the individual citizens.   The second video depicts an officer who decides to make the law into whatever he decides it should be.   There is no law against the filming of police officers  doing their job...especially if they're on YOUR property.   The unlawful arrest should demand the severest of punishments to the arresting officer and in my own humble opinion the guy should be fired and serve, at the minimum, ten years at hard labor.  A little harsh you say, not hardly...people have been killed for doing exactly what this officer has done.  To the best of my knowledge America has not yet turned into a police state but you couldn't tell if you watched the second video.

Update...
The 1st and 7th circuit decisions mean that it is now technically legal to record on-duty police officers in every state in the country.  Read full story here

United States Supreme Court
The United State Supreme Court has rejected a plea made by an Illinois prosecutor to allow enforcement of the state's anti-eavesdropping law when citizens video record police in the course of their duties.
Reaffirming a lower court ruling, the Court on Monday stated the anti-eavesdropping law violates the guarantee of freedom of speech when used against citizens who videotape law enforcement officers engaged in their duties in public places.  ...full story here

One stop along the road to destruction...America is no longer sustainable!

Obama Admin Kills Off 100 Year Old Oyster Farm

ABC: Kevin Lunny’s struggle to keep his family’s oyster farm running in Point Reyes National Seashore appears to be over, closing out an era of oysterman plying the park’s pristine waters and ushering in the nation’s newest ocean wilderness.
U.S. Interior Secretary Ken Salazar’s announcement Thursday that he was allowing the oyster farm’s lease to expire took many by surprise — especially Drakes Bay Oyster Co. owner Lunny — whose family also operates a cattle ranch in the park.
“We expected a different decision. We really thought that there was a right and a wrong here, and we expected the secretary to make the right decision,” Lunny said.
Salazar’s move keeps intact a Congressional mandate from 1976 that sought to restore Drakes Estero to its natural state, removing the oyster racks and motor boats used to shuttle the shelled delicacies to and from shore. Environmentalists and the National Park Service said the farm disturbed harbor seal pupping, and damaged native plants.
In the end, after millions of dollars spent on studies and years of heated debate, Salazar decided that returning the area to its natural state was more important than allowing a popular local business to continue operating.
