Only under Obama. During Chinese President Hu Jintao’s visit, the two presidents were serenaded by pianist Lang Lang, who was born in China. His selection was the song “My Motherland,” the theme song to the 1956 anti-American film Battle on Shangganling Mountain, produced as China was killing American soldiers in the Korean War.

Anti-American Song Played at State Dinner
By Cathy Yan
Chinese-born pianist Lang Lang in many ways embodies the Sino-American comity that both President Hu Jintao and President Barack Obama emphasized during their summit this past week-which is no doubt why he was chosen to perform at the White House state dinner for Mr. Hu on Wednesday.
After bilingual comments to the assembled VIPs in which he said it was a "great honor" to be playing, he proceeded to perform a solo piece, which he introduced as a "Chinese song called ‘My Motherland.'"  The song is not just any old song. As Chinese netizens have pointed out, "My Motherland" is the theme song for a famous anti-U.S. movie about the Korean War from 1956, titled "Battle on Shangganling Mountain."

The only thing I would have a hard time believing from the joker in chief would be him actually doing something to help or honor our country.

You might want to google "China's God Bless America" to see what this song is really about.

To say the song is anti-American is like saying Star Spangled Banner is anti-British. We play it to the Queen, does it mean we are rubbing her nose in? The Revolutionary War and Korean War are both historical facts, so what does it have to do with respective state visits today?

Lang Lang picked a song for the visiting guest, don't read too much into it. It was also sang during the Olympics, in front of President Bush.

It's one thing to play a country's anthem and another to play a theme song from a anti-American movie. Sounds like anonymous is making excuses for a guy that NEVER showed any respect for America. And yes, Anonymous hates America too! That's not an assumption, that's a fact! No one who loves America would make ANY EXCUSE for a anti-American like Obama...
Anonymous is also a coward;else why "Anonymous" ...only cowards do not wish to reveal their real selves...
