New Movie Calls For America To "Wake Up And Smell the Jihad"  [cross-posted from: The Lid]

Everyone remembers where they were when they found out about the attacks on 9/11. I was sitting in my office when I received an IM from my brother telling me of the first crash and urging me to turn on the TV (I worked for Nickelodeon at the time and had a TV in my office). Turning on the set I saw what I thought was an replay of the crash, but it wasn't a replay it was the second plane.  My entire team crammed into my offices and stared in disbelief as we heard about the attack on the Pentagon, and then each of the twin towers crash to the ground.  Just thinking about it brings back memories of fear and confusion.

As soon as it was announced the bridges and tunnels were re-opened crowds rushed out of the city, it was a surreal picture, like the horror movies from my youth. Almost like Godzilla attacking Tokyo, but this was the 59th Street bridge  shocked people who were crowding the streets, struggling to get off that tiny island as soon as possible. Halfway between the bridge and what was soon to be known as ground zero,  here was an impenetrable curtain of black over the East River. Even breathing was different, the air had a "smokey" taste and a texture like sand paper.

That was only nine years ago, yet too many in America, especially in the liberal elite and in the Federal Government, people have forgotten.

Just yesterday, Newsweek editor Editor Fareed Zakaria wrote;  "Nine years after 9/11, can anyone doubt that Al Qaeda is simply not that deadly a threat? Since the gruesome day in 2001, Usama bin Laden's terror network has been unable to launch a single major attack on high value targets in the United States and Europe," totally ignoring the many attacks blunted by anti-Terror operations, or the attacks such as the Christmas Day underwear bomber, whose plot was stopped only through is own incompetence.

It is clear that America needs a wake up and smell the danger around us before the Radical Islamists execute another successful attack, reminding us in blood.

A new film America at Risk created by Newt and Callista Gingrich, hopes to do just that. It's designed to vividly demonstrate the dangers facing America, one decade after the attacks on 9/11.

The Global War on Terror has been renamed the "Overseas Contingency Operation" by the Obama Administration. They have removed "Islamic extremism" and "jihad" from national security strategy documents. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano has suggested we replace the word "terrorism" with "man-caused disasters." Our Counter-Terrorism Czar John Brennan insists that the term Jihad has nothing to do with violence.

The Obama Administration and their progressive allies refuse to tell the truth about the war we are fighting. According to experts in this film, we are at war with radical Islamists - and it is a war we are losing. We are long overdue for a serious global strategy in fighting terrorism and the ideology behind it. We must have the courage to tell the truth and to act on that truth. It's time to be honest about what we know. This film is desingned to do just that.

America At Risk features an All-Star team of  terrorism, national security, and Middle East experts, including Bernard Lewis, former Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff, Debra Burlingame, Walid Phares, Andrew McCarthy, former UN Ambassador John Bolton, former CIA Director R. James Woolsey, Tony Blankley, Steven Emerson, Dr. M. Zuhdi Jasser, Michael Ledeen, Frank Gaffney, Reihan Salam, and others.

Why am I telling you all this? The trailer for the film is being released today(see below) , as well as a new website  for the movie. The movie is being screened at the BlogCon Convention this week in Washington DC (which I cannot attend because of Rosh Hashana).  As soon as I can I will view the movie and let you know if it as good as it sounds and report back on these pages, but since the "big splash" happens today, here's an advanced view of the trailer and if you want to learn more a preview of the the website.

Non-Combat Combat In Iraq ...plus "You make the call" video

Now who could have predicted this (see story below)?  Now that the United States combat operations are completed in Iraq its certain that such operations will no longer be needed...right?  Maybe repelling suicide bombers is not considered to be combat operations.  Well lets see, 50,000 U. S. military personnel still remain in Iraq and as far as I know the United States did not surrender (How do I know?  Because Joe Biden said so!) and Obama clearly stated that combat operations have ended then we can safely say that any future repelling (even if it includes shooting the enemy) shall not be considered combat in Iraq.  Now I don't want to stray too far off course but when I served overseas in a non-combat area (i.e. Okinawa, Sicily, Germany during the 1970's and 80's) I did not receive that extra few dollars in my paycheck referred to as combat pay, however I did get that little bonus during my tour of Vietnam.  Will the remaining 50,000 troops in Iraq continue their combat pay?  No combat, no combat pay!  Oh and one more thing... What if one of those 50,000 men gets the worst possible scenario... Will he be designated 'KIA' or deceased do to repelling maneuvers?  Meanwhile feel safe to predict more non-combat combat in Iraq.  It will happen! ~ Norman E. Hooben

U.S. military helps repel suicide bombing attack, official says

September 05, 2010|By Jomana Karadsheh, CNN
U.S. military personnel were involved in repelling a suicide bombing attack Sunday on an Iraqi military base in Baghdad, four days after the United States officially ended its combat operations in Iraq.  (emphasis mine ~ Storm'n Norm'n)
U.S. forces "provided suppressive fire" and helicopter support during the attack, said Lt. Col. Eric Bloom, a spokesman for the U.S. military in Baghdad. No U.S. soldiers were injured, Bloom said.
At least 12 people were killed and 36 others were injured in Sunday's attack, the Iraqi military command said. The interior ministry reported eight dead and 21 wounded. There was no immediate explanation for the discrepancy... Read the full story here CNN World

Afghanistan's dirty little secret
August 29, 2010|By Joel Brinkley

"How can you fall in love if you can't see her face," 29-year-old Mohammed Daud told reporters. "We can see the boys, so we can tell which are beautiful."
Credit: Yuri Cortez / AFP / Getty Images

Western forces fighting in southern Afghanistan had a problem. Too often, soldiers on patrol passed an older man walking hand-in-hand with a pretty young boy. Their behavior suggested he was not the boy's father. Then, British soldiers found that young Afghan men were actually trying to "touch and fondle them," military investigator AnnaMaria Cardinalli told me. "The soldiers didn't understand."
All of this was so disconcerting that the Defense Department hired Cardinalli, a social scientist, to examine this mystery. Her report, "Pashtun Sexuality," startled not even one Afghan. But Western forces were shocked - and repulsed.
For centuries, Afghan men have taken boys, roughly 9 to 15 years old, as lovers. Some research suggests that half the Pashtun tribal members in Kandahar and other southern towns are bacha baz, the term for an older man with a boy lover. Literally it means "boy player." The men like to boast about it.
"Having a boy has become a custom for us," Enayatullah, a 42-year-old in Baghlan province, told a Reuters reporter. "Whoever wants to show off should have a boy."
Baghlan province is in the northeast, but Afghans say pedophilia is most prevalent among Pashtun men in the south. The Pashtun are Afghanistan's most important tribe. For centuries, the nation's leaders have been Pashtun.
President Hamid Karzai is Pashtun, from a village near Kandahar, and he has six brothers. So the natural question arises: Has anyone in the Karzai family been bacha baz? Two Afghans with close connections to the Karzai family told me they know that at least one family member and perhaps two were bacha baz. Afraid of retribution, both declined to be identified and would not be more specific for publication.
As for Karzai, an American who worked in and around his palace in an official capacity for many months told me that homosexual behavior "was rampant" among "soldiers and guys on the security detail. They talked about boys all the time."
He added, "I didn't see Karzai with anyone. He was in his palace most of the time." He, too, declined to be identified.
In Kandahar, population about 500,000, and other towns, dance parties are a popular, often weekly, pastime. Young boys dress up as girls, wearing makeup and bells on their feet, and dance for a dozen or more leering middle-aged men who throw money at them and then take them home. A recent State Department report called "dancing boys" a "widespread, culturally sanctioned form of male rape."
So, why are American and NATO forces fighting and dying to defend tens of thousands of proud pedophiles, certainly more per capita than any other place on Earth? And how did Afghanistan become the pedophilia capital of Asia?
Sociologists and anthropologists say the problem results from perverse interpretation of Islamic law. Women are simply unapproachable. Afghan men cannot talk to an unrelated woman until after proposing marriage. Before then, they can't even look at a woman, except perhaps her feet. Otherwise she is covered, head to ankle.
"How can you fall in love if you can't see her face," 29-year-old Mohammed Daud told reporters. "We can see the boys, so we can tell which are beautiful."
Even after marriage, many men keep their boys, suggesting a loveless life at home. A favored Afghan expression goes: "Women are for children, boys are for pleasure." Fundamentalist imams, exaggerating a biblical passage on menstruation, teach that women are "unclean" and therefore distasteful. One married man even asked Cardinalli's team "how his wife could become pregnant," her report said. When that was explained, he "reacted with disgust" and asked, "How could one feel desire to be with a woman, who God has made unclean?"
That helps explain why women are hidden away - and stoned to death if they are perceived to have misbehaved. Islamic law also forbids homosexuality. But the pedophiles explain that away. It's not homosexuality, they aver, because they aren't in love with their boys.
Addressing the loathsome mistreatment of Afghan women remains a primary goal for coalition governments, as it should be.
But what about the boys, thousands upon thousands of little boys who are victims of serial rape over many years, destroying their lives - and Afghan society.
"There's no issue more horrifying and more deserving of our attention than this," Cardinalli said. "I'm continually haunted by what I saw."
As one boy, in tow of a man he called "my lord," told the Reuters reporter: "Once I grow up, I will be an owner, and I will have my own boys."

Christchurch, New Zealand... the earthquake...in case you missed it

Feb 22, 2011 Update: Go here for latest earthquake...incredible video!

From New Zeal
Images of the Christchurch Quake

Our family escaped completely unscathed, but much of Christchurch and surrounding areas was not so lucky.

Up to 20% of the homes in the city may be rendered uninhabitable. Damage is at least $2 billion in a city of 340,000 people.

The University is closed, as will be many schools.

Aftershocks are continuing, with one of 6.0 on the Richter Scale expected anytime.

The original quake was 7.1

We're also expecting gale force winds later today. Sheeeeeesh.

Most of Christchurch looks normal, but some suburbs are flooded and the roads almost impassable. Hundreds of homes have been condemned and many central city businesses are closed.

Many personal landmarks were affected by the quake. A swingbridge I used to cross as a kid in Kaiapoi was wrecked, a place I used to work at in Merivale was demolished.

I used to visit friends in the flat to the right above.

I used to live in this bedroom back in the '80s.

Amazingly, no one was killed.

The damage is huge, but people love this town and we'll be back up and running pretty quickly.

There is a lot of pride in this city. We won't stay down for long.

Department Of Justice ??? Can we dare call it, "Justice"? (Looks more like some kind of personal revenge tactic.)

by Norman E. Hooben

There's  a huge problem (in case you haven't noticed) with the United States Justice Department.  Can we dare call it, "Justice"?  And since when does the federal government sue sovereign states (i.e. Arizona) that are simply enforceing an already established federal law... Shouldn't it be the other way around? Arizona should be suing the federal government for not doing its job. (These are not just words.  The abuses of power and failure to perform the job they were elected to do is so overwhelming that the case against Obama and company (from Holder to Pelosi and everyone in between) should warrant at a minimum life behind bars for the lot of them. (If that's the minimum punishment, what should be the mazimum?  How 'bout a good ole Saturday morning mass hanging on the Washington Mall somewhere between the Capitol and the Lincoln Memorial.  I'm sure we could draw a huge crowd.)
Meanwhile back at the office...the Justice Department that is...they continue to take the hints from Obama that the more anti-American rhetoric (in this case their website banner) they display the more popular they think that they are... Get a load of this...(from iowntheworld.com)

Department of Justice Website Gets A Facelift

Bruce Cunningham, writing for American Thinker, reports that the DOJ has changed their website banner from Old Glory to basic black. See below.

I’m not as upset with the design as I am with something else that Cunningham points out. After all, prior to October 6th of 2005, the DOJ banner didn’t have the flag on it. It was a crappy blue.

What is disconcerting is the quote that they’ve chosen -
From AT -
“The common law is the will of mankind, issuing from the life of the people.”
Catchy, huh? Just one tiny little (too small to be relevant obviously) point — the quote is from C. Wilfred Jenks, who in the 1930’s was a leading proponent of the “international law” movement, which had as its goal to impose a global common law and which backed ‘global workers’ rights.’
Call it Marxism, call it Progressivism, call it Socialism — under any of those names it definitely makes the DOJ look corrupt in their sleek, new black website with Marxist accessories to match.
See for yourself:
http://www.justice.gov/
How very interesting that ‘they’ couldn’t find a nice quote from one of our Founders. People, we have lost our Republic. We need to get it back ASAP.
!snip!
Obama has to be aware that the perception people have of this administration is that they are angling to make America just another land mass occupying the larger, greater collective globe. And then he goes ahead and does this?
Folks, it’s not a perception. Obama is a danger to America.

Holder Sues Arizona Colleges For Asking To See Green Cards

September 4th, 2010 Posted By Pat Dollard.
ebd6b03868f04cf8b1040cf9e6965ce4-e1283620881370-320x150
Los Angeles Times:
Reporting from Washington — Employers who hire illegal immigrants can be fined, but the Obama administration warned this week that they also can be fined for asking legal immigrants to show their green cards before hiring them.
The Justice Department’s civil rights division sued the Maricopa County Community Colleges in Arizona, seeking damages from schools for having “intentionally committed document abuse discrimination.”
Prior to this year, the local colleges in the Phoenix area asked job applicants who were not U.S. citizens to show a driver’s license, a Social Security card and their permanent resident card, commonly called a green card.
The Justice Department said a valid driver’s license and a Social Security card are usually sufficient to show that a person is authorized to work. Requesting a green card amounts to “immigration-related employment discrimination,” said Thomas E. Perez, the assistant attorney general for civil rights.
Federal law forbids treating “authorized workers differently during the hiring process based on their citizenship status,” Perez said. He said the department’s Office of Special Counsel would bring legal actions against employers who impose “unnecessary and discriminatory hurdles to employment for work-authorized noncitizens.”
Amid the fierce controversy over immigration, the Obama administration has launched three lawsuits this summer to protect the rights of Latinos and legal immigrants — all three targeting Arizona.
In July, the administration successfully blocked Arizona’s law that authorized state and local police to check the immigration status of persons who were arrested. On Thursday, it sued Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio seeking documents that could show he has illegally targeted Latinos in the course of his immigration sweeps.
The suit against the Maricopa community colleges, announced Monday, and could affect employers across the nation.
“Employers are getting very mixed messages from the government,” said Jessica Vaughan, a policy analyst with the Center for Immigration Studies.
On one hand, employers have been told they need to do more to verify that their workers are legal and authorized to work in the United States. Federal immigration law says hiring “an unauthorized alien” can result in fines of up to $3,000 per worker. However, another provision of the same law bars employers from requesting “more or different documents” than are needed to prove a noncitizen’s legal status.
In the Maricopa college case, the Justice Department said it wanted “full remedial relief” for 247 noncitizens who applied for jobs with the community college district between August 2008 and January of this year, plus a civil penalty of $1,100 for each of them.
“We are extremely disappointed by the Justice Department’s action. We had no intent to discriminate against any foreign national, and we feel we have been singled out for the maximum penalty under the law,” said Charles Reinebold, a spokesman for the community colleges. “There was no actual harm here. This was a paperwork error, and we revised it after it was brought to our attention.”
Vaughan said she was “very surprised the administration would resort to a lawsuit. In the past, the emphasis has been on mediation to resolve these issues.”
But others applauded the administration’s move to enforce the anti-discrimination parts of the immigration law.
Gening Liao, a lawyer for the National Immigration Law Center in Los Angeles, said the law itself is clear.
“If you bring in a driver’s license and a Social Security card, those documents are sufficient. Employers are prohibited from asking for extra documents or different documents,” she said. “This is blatant discrimination, and we get calls about it all the time. We hope to see more lawsuits like this.”

Mass Voters, Here' your chance! (Let's break the record for write-ins! ...yes we can!)

I met Jim McKenna at a private gathering in Pembroke this past July.  Aside from the friendly chat we had I'm thoroughly convinced he is the person to crack down on the illegal immigrant problem that cost the Massachusetts taxpayers enormous amounts their hard earned money.
It is with great pleasure that I support and encourage his run for the office of Attorney General for the state of Massachusetts. ~ Norman E. Hooben
See Write-In Instructions video below

Millbury lawyer to run against Coakley

Attorney General Martha Coakley may have a Republican opponent after all. Ms. Coakley, a Democrat, has been running unopposed because the state Republican Party did not nominate anyone to challenge her in November even though she was seen as vulnerable because of her dramatic loss to U.S. Sen. Scott Brown in the January special election.

But now Millbury lawyer James P. McKenna, 49, a longtime Central Massachusetts GOP activist, says he will mount a serious write-in campaign for the Sept. 14 primary to try to get on the Nov. 9 general election ballot.

“We couldn't leave Coakley without an opponent in this race, we just couldn't,” Mr. McKenna, 49, said. “At some point, it became clear that we had to do this.”

Mr. McKenna will need 10,000 write-in votes to make the ballot. He said he plans to buy stickers with his name on them so voters can affix them to ballots in the primary.

Mr. McKenna registered his campaign committee Friday with the state Office of Campaign and Political Finance, which will allow him to start fund-raising immediately.

With no other apparent write-in candidates, Mr. McKenna, who has already met with top party officials about his bid, appears to have the support of the state party.

He said he will focus on campaigning in areas expected to have a high turnout of Republicans. These include the 10th Congressional District south of Boston, where there is an open seat and several GOP candidates; and the 3rd, 2nd and 5th Congressional Districts, which cover most of Central Massachusetts and in which the Democratic incumbents all have Republican opponents.

Joe Shannon, a spokesman for Ms. Coakley, said the attorney general "has a strong record of standing up on behalf of consumers and taxpayers and working to protect our children and communities," he wrote in an e-mailed statement. "The voters of Massachusetts know that they can trust Martha to continue to fight for them and to take on the challenges that make a difference in their lives."

Mr. McKenna said he believes that the attorney general is out of step with Massachusetts voters on illegal immigration and that she has not prosecuted political corruption enough.

“She says that technically, it is not illegal to be an illegal immigrant in Massachusetts,” he said. “The bad news is we can not have the chief law enforcement officer of the state telling us it's not illegal to be illegal.”

He said he would crack down in illegal immigrants with a similar approach to the state of Arizona, which passed a law allowing police officers to demand citizenship identification of anyone they stop.

Under his modified Arizona strategy, Mr. McKenna said he would require proof of citizenship at the time of arraignment of criminal defendants.

Mr. McKenna also criticized Ms. Coakley for inaction on political corruption cases, noting that federal authorities have brought the most significant corruption charges, including those against former Boston state Sen. Dianne Wilkerson.

He also said he would establish a public corruption strike force.

Mr. McKenna said that while he is a conservative on social issues, he will focus on illegal immigration and public corruption in his campaign.

He said he is in favor of the death penalty; opposes abortion except in cases of rape and incest; and that while he is personally against same-sex marriage, would not seek a ballot referendum to overturn it in Massachusetts.

Mr. McKenna said he had previously considered running for attorney general, but ended up as legal counsel for Republican state auditor candidate Mary Z. Connaughton of Framingham. He said he has left that position to concentrate on the write-in campaign.

Before that, Mr. McKenna was the campaign chairman for former Republican state Senate candidate Stephen N. Paige of West Boylston in 2004 and campaign coordinator for Worcester Republican Gregory White in his 2002 race for Worcester district attorney.

Mr. McKenna and his wife, Katie Lavallee, have six children, ages 8-17.

“This is a long shot, but we're going to get on the ballot, and I think we're going to win,” he said.

George Orwell's iPhone

I'm pretty much satisfied with the cell phone I'm using...about the only reason I have the phone is simply to talk to whomever I call or whomever calls me.  Never was interested in texting which seems to be pretty popular now-a-days...if ya don't want to talk, don't bother to text...I never read 'em!  Occasionally I look at some of the new products out there and the technology keeps on getting more interesting.  One such interesting product that I've never really looked at but was getting around to it, is the Apple iPhone and then I ran across this article (see below).  Makes ya want to wonder what's this world coming to...must be part of that New World Order stuff we keep hearing about. ~ Norman E. Apple’s “We’re Gonna Creep You Out On Your IPhone” Patent

Back in 1984, the upstart Apple Computer revealed a ground-breaking television commercial during the broadcast of Super Bowl XVIII, the infamous “Big Brother” ad that announced the introduction of the Macintosh Computer:

Note the words used as the tagline:
And you’ll see why 1984 won’t be like 1984.
Apparently, Apple has decided to wait until 2010 to make it seem like 1984. In a recent patent application, Apple describes a set of features and functions they plan to develop for some of their devices, with the focus apparently on the iPhone. If you take a few minutes to read this application, you’ll begin to realize that Apple is planning on creating a real Orwellian world among its iPhone users, all in the name of protecting the device from unauthorized use.
First of all, let’s get something straight about cell phone security. Assume for the moment that you own a typical GSM-based cellular device (I’m sure the world of CDMA phones and ESNs is similar). All GSM cellular devices can be uniquely identified by the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number. While hardly 100% foolproof or effective in preventing unauthorized use, if a GSM phone owner loses their device or the device is stolen, the victim can contact the cellular vendor and provide the IMEI number and request the phone be blocked from usage by anyone else. This usually only works in the country where the phone was originally sold, and there are allegedly ways to reprogram the original IMEI number to a new one (but not legally and not without great difficulty and costly equipment). Nevertheless, it’s a good immediate response to prevent someone from using your device after a theft or while you try to recover it.
(Note: this means you should make a record of the IMEI and the cell’s serial number and model when you buy it).
Apple, however, is looking out for their users, and they plan on utilizing some truly creepy features on their devices. The goal is to make certain the the device is being used by an “authorized” user. A short list of these “features” includes:
“…a microphone operable to record the voice of the current user…to…compare the recorded voice with voice prints of authorized user of the electronic device; and determine that the recorded voice does not match the voice print of any authorized user of the electronic device…”
“…a heartbeat sensor operable to detect the heartbeat of the current user…to…compare the detected heartbeat with heart signatures of each authorized user of the electronic device; and determine that detected the heartbeat does not match the heart signature of any authorized user of the electronic device…”
“…a camera operable to take a photograph of the vicinity of the electronic device; and positioning circuitry operable to determine current location information of the electronic device; and wherein the processor is further operable to: geotag the photograph by associating the photograph with the current location information…”
“…an electronic device comprising; an input device operable to receive a password provided by a user; a camera operable to take a photograph of the user; a processor operable to: determine that a predetermined number of incorrect passwords have been successively received; direct the camera to take a photograph of the user; and generate an alert notification in response to the processor determining, wherein the alert notification comprises information related to the identity of the user and the photograph of the user; and communications circuitry operable to transmit the alert notification to a remote device….”
“…wherein the alert notification is transmitted via one of text message, facsimile, VoIP application, instant messaging application, on-line profile application, on-line blog application, and a cloud server…”
Let me sum up…
You buy an iPhone. You then will be required (I assume this will be a requirement) to submit, to Apple or their agent, digital prints of your speaking voice, a photograph of your face, recordings of your heartbeat, and, apparently, photographs of locations you hang out at, in addition to sample ambient sounds and vibrations from said hangouts, in addition to other possible identifying factors. Apple is going to store all these things on some server, and when they’re suspicious of the person who happens to be using your phone, they’re going to activate all these tools, gather some biometric information and compare what they get to what they have in storage.
What could possibly go wrong?
And I suppose if it ain’t you holding the phone when the Apple police arrive, you’re going to wind up strapped to a table next to poor old Winston Smith, waiting for some shock treatment to get you right in your mind.
My first question would be: what if more than one person uses my phone? What if I loan the phone to my wife, my daughter, a friend? Does this unexpected change in voice patterns indicate some foul play afoot? Am I going to be forced to bail my wife out of the joint because I made the boneheaded decision to loan her my iPhone?
Naturally, the truly frightening aspect to this is the idea that all this biometric information is stored on some server that can be reached in seconds using the cellular phone networks. What are the chances that those servers aren’t going to be the targets of attacks by people seeing to steal some identifying information about Apple customers?
What I find particular disconcerting is that there are three people listed on the patent application as developers of these ideas and concepts. I can’t imagine that they didn’t sit down and discuss these ideas and plans without some chill running up their own spines about the invasion of privacy all this “security” is going to provide.
However, here is the most frightening things of all: millions of Apple iPhone users will likely think this is a terrific idea, and will gladly upgrade their current, non-spying-capable iPhone to the latest Big-Brother-Is-Calling device the moment it’s released to the public. Trust me, people will beat the doors down at the local AT&T store to get one. And at full price, too.

    • 4kidsandacat
Posted on September 2, 2010 at 9:48am He really is an empty suit! I’ve thought for a long time that he was just put forth and elected to be the face and mouthpiece of this movement. The real people in control are the ones around him. They’re the ones who put him in office and they run the show. He’s the spokesperson.

Posted on September 2, 2010 at 1:27pm I agree completely with 4kids. He is just the puppet. I felt a long time ago it would all eventually come out who actually held the strings. It turns my stomach.

Is that someone Obama? Putin? Hugo? Perhaps Soros?

Posted on September 2, 2010 at 9:52am You know, at some point one would think that I would stop being shocked by this sort of stuff. Still I find myself staring, mouth agape, at the screen and saying to myself “is this for real? Are there now really people this evil and driven by such avarice?”
Then I snap out of it and realize that this is nothing new. Its the culmination of many, many years of planning and infiltrations.

Posted on September 2, 2010 at 9:11pm The Liberal Press vehemently denies Obama is a Socialist
and label such accusations Right Wingnut scare tactics.
But, if Obama came out of the Socialist closet tomorrow
proudly proclaiming his dedication to all things Marx,
the same Liberal Press response would be . . . . . So what’s so bad about Socialism.

Posted on September 2, 2010 at 9:53am He said “if you don’t want the violence to grow, you will join the fight for economic justice.” This commet alone is chilling. It is an overt threat that unless they get their way violence will ensure. My mom told me while growing up that it was important to associate with people of good character because you will tend to emulate that behavior. Mom was right in her commom sense observation. We become what we think. Obama has again revealed how radical his agenda is by his constant support and association with these radicals.

Posted on September 2, 2010 at 12:39pm So true, So true. Obama himself gave some pretty good clues during his campaign that we should judge him by the people he surrounded himself with. I think very few of us fully understood the scope of what he was saying at that time. Beck had it pegged though, and I think it gave it the right name: Crime, Inc.

Posted on September 2, 2010 at 9:53am AFLCIO Mafia. What’s his take? And Obama–shame on you for aligning with this sort of “progressive.” It’s a pipe dream. 11/2 we’ll see a reversal of power in the House and Senate and this one trick pony will ride his last two years out.

Posted on September 2, 2010 at 9:55am incredcible. i know there is a percentage of americans that are like this–but how big is that? when they give polling numbers, how many of that 40% is ill-informed and how many buy in to this ideology? that is what we need to find out-cause we need to know who to WAKE UP and who to reveal.

Posted on September 2, 2010 at 9:55am This guy’s Wikipedia page is interesting.
As Pres. of the UMWA in ’89 he “encouraged non-violent civil disobedience”,
but four years later it seems like not so much:
“As head of the United Mine Workers, Trumka ordered a nationwide strike against Peabody Coal in 1993. On July 22, a non-union worker, Eddie York, was shot in the back of the head and killed as he attempted to pass striking coal workers. Picketers continued to throw rocks after York was shot, preventing his would be rescuers from assisting him.”
It’s easy for me to imagine this thug sitting in the back of a limo giving the order for some scab to be “taken care of”.

He hangs around with too many super left radicals to be otherwise. I have so many friends that are indifferent, but it is time to wake even those people up to what is happening under their noses! Keep at them everybody with every chance you get. Hopefully, an even fuller awakening will happen before November. God bless you all!!

Posted on September 2, 2010 at 11:28pm I work for a local school district – I am not a member of the union – but I am a fair share fee payer (that means I still have to pay dues). The difference is once a year I can file an objection to having a portion of the dues I pay used for “non-chargeable” items, i.e. political and ideological contributions). The result is that I recieve an “advanced rebate” on my dues. This takes dollars out of the union coffers that would go to political purposes. If more people did this, the unions could find themselves in a real pinch – and be forced to simply stick to union business, and stop telling us who we have to vote for!

I found in encyclopedia…Totalitarianism = ‘a political system where the state, usually under the control of a single political person, faction, or class, recognizes no limits to its authority and strives to regulate every aspect of public and private life wherever feasible’…’A Totalitarian regime attempts to control virtually all aspects of the social life including economy, education, art, science, private life and morals of citizens’…sound familiar???
