Here’s The List Of Times Obama’s Used “I Heard About It On The News” Excuse
If it weren’t for the news, would our president ever know what’s going on in our country or with world events? The “I heard about it on the news” excuse has been played out at least one time too many as a rationalization for his failed leadership and incompetency.
As everyone — even our president thanks to our nation’s stellar reporting — has heard by now, Hillary Clinton is once again knee-deep in scandal, as she has been found to have had a private email which she used for business purposes during her entire tenure as secretary of state. Just like we shouldn’t be surprised to hear the words Clinton and scandal in the same sentence, it shouldn’t have come as a shock when Barack Obama claimed he only became aware of Hillary email fiasco when he heard it on the news with the rest of America. We’ve heard that song and dance a time or two or seven before.
Thanks to congressional candidate Dan Bongino and a Facebook post he made Monday, we have quite the list, showing this excuse seems to be part of the president’s script.
So, let’s get this straight, even though White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest announced that the president did know about Hillary Clinton’s email address because he emailed her directly on several occasions, Bullshitting Barack wants us to believe he had no idea until he heard about it on the news. Think about that for a minute. Clinton did NOT have a government issued email as Secretary of State. So, you mean to tell me, that in 4 years as secretary of state, she did not once email the Commander-in-Chief? Anything smell funny here to you?
But Obama was clear when he told CBS News’ Bill Plante when he learned about Clinton’s email address:
“…The same time that everybody else learned it, through news reports.” – Barack ObamaSure, the President of the United States is totally in the dark on what’s going on in the world, this nation, and even his own cabinet, until the news tells him, just like the rest of us. Well, according to this list, that’s what he wants you to believe. Just in case you missed it, these are 7 other times the president was completely unaware of what was going on until the media tipped him off:
- The Fast & Furious gun running scandal
- The NSA spying on foreign leaders scandal
- The Petraeus scandal
- The IRS targeting of conservative groups
- The Department of Justice’s wiretapping of reporters at The Associated Press
- The Department of Justice’s wiretapping of Fox News’ James Rosen
- The VA healthcare “waiting list” scandal
