And then there's this from Allen West...

You’re kidding me! Even NY Times editor says Obama admin is secretive?

President Obama promised to have the most “transparent administration” in the history of our nation. Methinks this should go down as another one of Obama’s famed lies — and there are many. As ESPN college football commentator Lee Corso would say, “Not so fast my friend.”
According to a report in Politico,
New York Times Executive Editor Jill Abramson says that President Obama’s White House is the “most secretive White House” that she’s covered during her long tenure as a political journalist. “I spent 22 years of my career in Washington and covered presidents from President Reagan on up through now, and I was Washington bureau chief of the Times during George W. Bush’s first term,” Abramson told Al Jazeera America in an interview that will air on Sunday.
First of all, how many people will be watching Al Jazeera America on a Sunday?
Abramson says,
The Obama administration has had seven criminal leak investigations. That is more than twice the number of any previous administration in our history. It’s on a scale never seen before. This is the most secretive White House that, at least as a journalist, I have ever dealt with.
If this is the case, why aren’t we hearing more about this from the liberal progressive media? Can it be they are in such a state of shock that one of “their own” has been so disrespectful? Can you imagine the outcry if this had been from the Bush or any Republican administration?
Yet, we still see a fawning media that allows President Obama and the Left’s desired successor, Hillary Clinton, to get a free pass. Consider this widely unknown quote from the New York Times editorial board from May of last year:
The Obama administration has moved beyond protecting government secrets to threatening fundamental freedoms of the press to gather news.
Say it ain’t so.You mean this doesn’t come from the fascist right wing conspiracy or the anarchist TEA Party? You mean to tell me the Times editorial board believes the biggest threat to the fundamental first amendment freedom of the press has come from President Barack Hussein Obama, their progressive socialist godsend?
You mean to tell me executive intrusion and overreach affecting the gathering of news has come from a Democrat president? So where is the liberal media outrage? Hear anything? Nah, just crickets chirping.
Lt. Col. Allen West
You see, the hypocrisy is that they will utter these things but take no action. As a matter of fact, these stories are truly never highlighted and just end up buried.
Of course liberals will defend “da one” by saying Obama has nothing to do with this. Aha! Here is what Ms. Abramson has to say on that matter, when asked if the crackdown on leaks come directly from President Obama,
“I would think that it would have to. I don’t know that, but certainly enough attention has been focused on this issue that, if he departed from the policies of his government, I think we’d know that at this point.”
Leaders set the tone and atmosphere in their organizations. If the rule liberal progressives demand applies to Governor Chris Christie, it must apply to President Obama as well.
But then again, we may all just be racists.
