Trevor Loudon Outs Leon Panetta: Video – Do You Know Who Panetta Really Is?

New Zealander Trevor Loudon, the force behind the blog New Zeal speaks at this rally about Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta and who he really is. This is a life work for Loudon. Not so long ago, when Panetta was going through the Senate confirmation process, Trevor and others including GulagBound’s Arlen Williams and Terresa Monroe Hamiton at Noisy Room, sounded the warning bell, loudly and clearly. Bet you don’t know half of this about Panetta. About 1o mins-in, Loudon says we must keep our eye on military. It’s being hollowed out. Thousands of good men are leaving because of Obama policies – and one day we’re going “to wake-up and there ain’t gonna be nothing left.” This is another one to send viral. Almost to the end, Loudon takes a question and is asked what he thinks about Ron Paul. Here’s his answer:
TREVOR LOUDON: There’s a lot I like about Ron Paul, his Constitutional stuff is superb, but Ron Paul has come under the influence of the Left on Foreign Policy, I’m afraid, and some people who support him may not like to hear that.
He commissioned a paper in 2010 on Defense cuts, and that was commissioned with Barney Frank who has an FBI record like you wouldn’t believe, and they commissioned the Massachusetts Institute to write that defense cuts policy, and sure enough it recommended huge defense cuts.
The Massachusetts Institute is controlled by Democratic Socialists of America. It’s a Marxist group, and Ron Paul is promoting a Marxist defense policy, so look, this is not 1776 anymore.
You’re not worried about Chinese junks coming across the Pacific, and Spanish galleons coming across the Atlantic. This is a world where you need bases everywhere to monitor your enemies. It doesn’t mean you have to be policemen of the world, but you have to have eyes and ears everywhere. This is a GeoPolitical struggle. The Russians, the Chinese and the Iranians are not separate threats. They are all allied in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which is bigger and stronger than the Warsaw Pact ever was. If you don’t believe me, Google it tomorrow. You don’t even hear about it in the news media.
These countries are allies, and they are allied more than anything else by their hatred of this country. So America faces some big Geo-Political threats and you need to keep your guard up. There’s a lot things you can cut in your government, and I know there is waste in the Military, and it should be tackled but your Military is 6% of GDP, 20% of Federal spending. There’s a lot more productive cuts to be made than tackling your Military. Your Military has saved you before and will save you again…
