I don't see any parachute...

Mid Air Flight Repair - leave it to a woman! - 1920's film clip-
Hard to believe that stunts such as these used to be accomplished frequently. Does anyone recall the air-to-air re-fuelling of one biplane to another using a long hose? Those people had to be either fearless or just plain crazy!
This woman has more guts than a sausage factory. Take a look at this film. Fabulous footage, although grainy due to time and bad equipment in those days compared to today, but what nerve this gal had.

Gladys Ingles was a member of a barnstorming troupe called the 13 Black Cats in the 1920's. Ingles was a wing walker; in this film, she shows her fearlessness in classic barnstorming fashion to save an airplane that has lost one of its main landing gear wheels.
Ingles is shown with a replacement wheel being strapped to her back and then off she goes as "Up She Goes," a duet from the era, provides the soundtrack. In the film, Ingles transfers herself from the rescue plane to the one missing the main landing gear tire.
She then expertly works herself down to the undercarriage only a few feet from a spinning propeller. It's certainly a feat many mechanics wouldn't even try on the ground with the engine running.

She died at age 82.

...and she did all this without any government regulation.
Could she have done this if OSHA was around back then?

Monsanto's Man

After his victory in the 2008 election, Obama filled key posts with Monsanto people, in federal agencies that wield tremendous force in food issues, the USDA and the FDA.  Consider these appointments:

·  At the USDA, as the director of the National Institute of Food and Agriculture, Roger Beachy, who resigned in 2011, was former director of the Monsanto Danforth Center.
·  As deputy commissioner of the FDA, the new food-safety-issues czar, Michael Taylor, former vice-president for public policy for Monsanto. Taylor had been instrumental in getting approval for Monsanto’s genetically engineered bovine growth hormone, rBGH.
·   As commissioner of the USDA, Iowa governor, and now agriculture secretary Tom Vilsack had set up a national group, the Governors’ Biotechnology Partnership, and had been given a Governor of the Year Award by the Biotechnology Industry Organization, whose members include Monsanto.
·  As the Agriculture Trade Representative, who would push GMOs for export, Islam Siddiqui, a former Monsanto lobbyist.
·  As the counsel for the USDA, Ramona Romero, who had been corporate counsel for another biotech giant, DuPont.
·  As the head of the USAID, Rajiv Shah, who had previously worked in key positions for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, a major funder of GMO agriculture research.
·  We should also remember that Obama’s Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, once worked for the Rose law firm.  That firm was counsel to Monsanto.
·  Obama also nominated Elena Kagan to the US Supreme Court. Kagan, as federal solicitor general, had previously argued for Monsanto in the Monsanto v. Geertson seed case before the Supreme Court. She wrote the opinion in the recent case of Monsanto vs. Indiana farmer Vernon Bowman

Obama’s record speaks for itself.

Percy Schmeiser is a farmer from Saskatchewan Canada, whose Canola fields were contaminated with Monsanto’s genetically engineered Round-Up Ready Canola by pollen from a nearby farm. Monsanto says it doesn’t matter how the contamination took place, and demanded Schmeiser pay their Technology Fee (the fee farmers must pay to grow Monsanto’s genetically engineered products). According to Schmeiser, “I never had anything to do with Monsanto, outside of buying chemicals. I never signed a contract.”

Oakhurst Dairy has been owned and operated by the same Maine family since 1921, and Monsanto recently attempted to put them out of business. Oakhurst, like many other dairy producers in the U.S., has been responding to consumer demand to provide milk free of rBGH, a synthetic hormone banned (for health reasons) in every industrialized country other than the U.S.
Monsanto, the number one producer of the rBGH synthetic steroid, sued Oakhurst, claiming they should not have the right to inform their customers that their dairy products do not contain the Monsanto chemical. Given the intense pressure from the transnational corporation, Oakhurst was forced to settle out of court, leaving many other dairies vulnerable to similar attacks from Monsanto.

And now let us look at what key Obama appointees have wrought for their true bosses.  Let's see what GMO crops have walked through the open door of the Obama presidency:
Monsanto GMO alfalfa, Monsanto GMO sugar beets, Monsanto GMO Bt Soybean
Coming soon:

Monsanto GMO sweet corn, Syngenta GMO corn for ethanol, Syngenta GMO stacked corn, Pioneer GMO soybean, Syngenta GMO Bt cotton, Bayer GMO cotton, ATryn, an anti-clotting agent from the milk of transgenic goats, A GMO papaya strain...and soon, genetically engineered salmon and apples.

One might conclude that Obama was, all along an operative on behalf of Monsanto, biotech, GMO's and corporate control of the future of agriculture.
Obama, while on the campaign trail in 2008, promised transparency in government.  He claimed that every person had the right to know what's in his food (GMO labeling).  But clearly, it was all talk.

Recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone (source American Cancer Society)

Recombinant bovine growth hormone (rBGH) is a synthetic (man-made) hormone that is marketed to dairy farmers to increase milk production in cows. It has been used in the United States since it was approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 1993, but its use is not permitted in the European Union, Canada, and some other countries. This document summarizes what is known about the product and its potential effects on health.

What is recombinant bovine growth hormone (rBGH)?

The human form of growth hormone, also called somatotropin, is made by the pituitary gland. It promotes growth and cell replication. Bovine growth hormone (BGH), also known as bovine somatotropin (BST) is the natural form of this hormone in cattle.
Recombinant bovine growth hormone (rBGH) or recombinant bovine somatotropin (rBST) refers to bovine growth hormone that is made in a lab using genetic technology. Some rBGH products on the market differ chemically from a cow's natural somatotropin by one amino acid. Both the natural and recombinant forms of the hormone stimulate a cow's milk production by increasing levels of another hormone known as insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1).

What are the health concerns in humans?

Concerns about possible health effects on humans from milk produced using rBGH have focused on 2 main issues.
First, does drinking milk from rBGH-treated cows increase blood levels of growth hormone or IGF-1 in consumers? If it does, would this be expected to have any health effects in people, including increasing the risk of cancer? Several scientific reviews have looked at these issues and are the main focus of this document.
Second, cows treated with rBGH tend to develop more udder infections (mastitis). These cows are given more antibiotics than cows not given rBGH. Does this increased use of antibiotics lead to more antibiotic-resistant bacteria, and is this a health concern for people? This remains a concern, but it has not been fully examined in humans.

IGF-1 in milk from rBGH-treated cows

Bovine growth hormone levels are not significantly higher in milk from rBGH-treated cows. On top of this, BGH is not active in humans, so even if it were absorbed from drinking milk, it wouldn't be expected to cause health effects.
Of greater concern is the fact that milk from rBGH-treated cows has higher levels of IGF-1, a hormone that normally helps some types of cells to grow. Several studies have found that IGF-1 levels at the high end of the normal range may influence the development of certain tumors. Some early studies found a relationship between blood levels of IGF-1 and the development of prostate, breast, colorectal, and other cancers, but later studies have failed to confirm these reports or have found weaker relationships. While there may be a link between IGF-1 blood levels and cancer, the exact nature of this link remains unclear.
Some studies have shown that adults who drink milk have about 10% higher levels of IGF-1 in their blood than those who drink little or no milk. But this same finding has also been reported in people who drink soymilk. This suggests that the increase in IGF-1 may not be specific to cow's milk, and may be caused by protein, minerals, or some other factors in milk unrelated to rBGH. There have been no direct comparisons of IGF-1 levels in people who drink ordinary cow's milk vs. milk stimulated by rBGH.
At this time, it is not clear that drinking milk, produced with or without rBGH treatment, increases blood IGF-1 levels into a range that might be of concern regarding cancer risk or other health effects.

Scientific reviews

In the early 1990s, the FDA and other organizations looked at 3 questions regarding IGF-1 exposure from rBGH-treated milk. These were:
  • How much higher is the IGF-1 concentration in cow's milk produced with rBGH, compared to that in untreated milk?
  • How much of the additional IGF-1 in milk do consumers absorb in an intact, active form?
  • How does the amount of absorbed IGF-1 compare with the amount of IGF-1 normally produced by the human body?
The available evidence can be summarized as follows:
  • Neither natural nor synthetic BGH has been found to affect human growth hormone receptors.
  • IGF-1 concentrations are slightly higher (to variable degrees, depending on the study) in milk from cows treated with rBGH than in untreated milk. This variability is presumed to be much less than the normal range of variation of IGF-1 in cow's milk due to natural factors, but more research is needed.
  • IGF-1 in milk is not denatured (inactivated) by pasteurization. The extent to which intact, active IGF-1 is absorbed through the human digestive tract remains uncertain.
  • One study estimated that the additional amount of IGF-1 that might be absorbed by humans drinking milk from rBGH treatment, assuming no degradation and complete absorption, represents 0.09% of the normal daily production of IGF-1 in adults.
  • Before approving the use of rBGH in 1993, the FDA calculated a worst case scenario based on an infant drinking 1.5 liters (1.6 quarts) of milk daily, with complete absorption of intact IGF-1 protein and the maximum increase in IGF-1. Under these conditions, milk from rBGH-treated cows would contribute far less than 1% of the infant's normal daily production of IGF-1.
At least 8 other national and international review committees have evaluated the evidence concerning potential health effects of rBGH on humans and dairy cows. These reviews (and the most recent year they convened) are listed below. Several of these reports document adverse effects on cows, including higher rates of mastitis, foot problems, and injection site reactions.
  • The Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives (1999)
  • Health Canada (1999)
  • Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (1998/9)
  • Canada Veterinarian Association (1998/9)
  • Commission of the European Communities (1988/9)
  • US National Institutes of Health (1990)
  • American Medical Association (1991)
  • Health Care Without Harm (2007)

Current usage and regulatory status

Although the use of rBGH is still approved in the United States, demand for the product has decreased in recent years. Many large grocery store chains no longer carry milk from cows treated with rBGH. A United States Department of Agriculture survey conducted in 2007 found that less than 1 in 5 cows (17%) were being injected with rBGH.

Summary

The available evidence shows that the use of rBGH can cause adverse health effects in cows. The evidence for potential harm to humans is inconclusive. It is not clear that drinking milk produced using rBGH significantly increases IGF-1 levels in humans or adds to the risk of developing cancer. More research is needed to help better address these concerns.
The increased use of antibiotics to treat rBGH-induced mastitis does promote the development of antibiotic-resistant bacteria, but the extent to which these are transmitted to humans is unclear.
The American Cancer Society (ACS) has no formal position regarding rBGH. Together with its advocacy affiliate, the ACS Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN), the Society supports open, fair and transparent regulatory oversight of products containing rBGH. The ACS also encourages continued and expanded scientific research and independent, credible assessment of potential relationships between the use of this substance in cows and human cancer risk. We support regulatory standards based on rigorous scientific evidence to minimize exposure to carcinogens, and we encourage the FDA to give the public information regarding known and suspected causes of cancer in the food system. The need for an effective FDA in ensuring the safety of our food supply, medicines, and consumer products has never been greater.

Storm'n Norm'n comment...
The first line in the above summary should be ample warning that something is wrong with rBGH else why does it cause adverse health effects in cows.  What are these health effects?  A cow with adverse health problems is a sick cow.  Would you be eating hamburgers if I told you the meat came from a sick cow?  Would you?

Free Monthly Income, Free Food Stamps, Free Housing...just hope you can swim

In 2012, Bob and Sally, who were living in Toledo, made a bold move. They hitchhiked to Texas, crossed the border into Mexico, swam back across the Rio Grande, and applied for federal benefits.  “Little did we know how rich we’d become,” Sally said. “Our government counselor told us we were suddenly eligible for $700 a month and free housing. For the rest of our lives.”

FOX News: “Illegal immigrant mother of seven given food stamps, meds, housing, and Social Security—for 20 years.”

Bob and Sally Craft have written a book.  Overnight, it’s leaped to the top of the New York Times best-seller list: The Key to Wealth: Swimming Lessons.

For the rest of our lives.”  But that was just the beginning of the story.

Bob, who was an out-of-work accountant, after serving two years in prison on a fraud charge, “ran some numbers.”

“You see,” Bob said, “sitting there across from our federal-aid counselor, still dripping wet from our swim back into the US, I realized she was talking about giving Sally and me roughly five million dollars over the course of our lives.”

Bob proposed an alternative payout plan.

Francine Baggit, their counselor, was amazed as she listened. “Bob explained that if we paid them the whole sum at once, they could invest it. I personally wrote a letter to the president, and two weeks later I almost fell off my chair when he called me at home.”

The president, through Press Secretary Ray Blarney, released an historic statement yesterday. “We now can assure help to those who need it,” Blarney said. “Essentially, welfare can be moved over into a new system. Lifetime pay-outs in one lump sum. Investment accounts.”

This triggered a mass exodus, temporary to be sure, from the US into Mexico. At last count, the Department of Homeland Security, who is supervising what they’re calling ‘Operation Red Sea,’ estimates that 150 million Americans are making their way to the Mexican border in Texas, California, Arizona, and New Mexico.

“We’re trying to keep this orderly,” stated Janet Neoconitan. “It’s turning into a full-time job. The swim and dash back into the US is fraught with logistical problems.”

According to CIA spokesman Frank Earnest, the unwritten agreement with the Mexican Sinaloa cartel “is being reworked on the fly.”

Earnest explained that 150 million Americans will certainly clog up the prescribed routes for importation of heroin and cocaine into the US.

One solution? The mayors of those two cities are suggesting that “well-qualified exiting American citizens” can be given vehicles loaded with drugs and then drive them back into the US through Chula Vista.

“It’s just a thought at this point,” stated Chicago Mayor Tom Godfather. “We’re being forced to improvise. We want to preserve our special relationship with Sinaloa, of course. After all, the kickbacks from drug profits help fund the whole federal welfare program. Minus the rake-off and the skim for politicians,” he added.

As the president watched drone coverage of the mass exodus in his office today, he remarked to several reporters from the Associated Press: “This is the kind of American initiative I’ve been talking about for five years. You boys give us plenty of play on this story and we’ll stop bugging some of your phones.”

One reporter replied, “Sir, I’ll be covering it in the trenches. My whole family is flying to Tijuana tonight. We’ll come back tomorrow and apply for federal aid.”

The president nodded. “I might be right there with you. I just wish I had more kids. The benefits apply across the board. No Ageism for this commander-in-chief.”

Meanwhile, Bob and Sally Craft are off on a book tour. These two millionaires are taking their new-found wealth in stride.

“For us,” Sally told Brian Williams, “it’s about helping others help themselves.”

Bob said, “There are sunny days and rainy days, Brian. You’ve got to manage your assets over the long haul. That’s what we’re doing, and that’s what we want for all Americans. My father, who was abusive in so many ways when we were growing up, nevertheless worked all his life as a wheelchair-ramp repairman. He slaved for a minimum wage. When I was nine, I vowed to do something about raising that minimum, and now Sally and I have.”

Williams replied, “I’m going to say the lights here in the studio are a little too bright, but really, the mistiness in my eyes is a result of something else. I think this whole nation is on an emotional edge tonight. It’s seeing the realization of a dream we never thought possible in our lifetimes.”

Scott Pelley, in an interview with Gamey Lyman, the CEO of Soldman Cracks JP Gorgon Mace, the famed Wall Street investment bank, asked this question: “Gamey, how do you think this new and startling financial revolution will affecting trading markets?”

Lyman answered, “Scott, look at it this way. Every American who travels to Mexico and comes back will be given an account worth five million dollars. Do the math. It’s a drop in the bucket, when you have the ability to concoct endless money directly out of Ben Bernanke’s ass. And by the way, my colleagues and I don’t want to take a back seat to anybody. The amount of cash we’ve been able to siphon out of the system over the last ten years would make your head swim.”

As the ABC evening newscast began, Diane Sawyer appeared on camera weeping uncontrollably. She kept it up in an unbroken stream for the entire hour. Finally, she said, in a voice trembling with emotion, “This is joy you’re seeing here, not sadness. All the sadness is gone.”

Oprah has just inked a new contract to return to CBS. “I had to,” she said. “I want all America to watch and hear the stories of people who ‘crossed over and came back.’ I’ll be talking to these families for the next ten years, revealing their heart wrenching histories and their triumphs.”

The president of Mexico has just made a nationally televised statement. “This is a great day for our country,” he said. “In the next six months, I expect Mexico to empty out. Everybody will be going to the US. Then, the fifteen families who own Mexico will be able to look around and actually see what they have. We’ll feel new hope. The nightmare is over.”

RAND Corporation spokesman, Saul Depop, spoke with reporters in Santa Monica, California tonight. “I expect by next week,” he said, “to see the creation of a federally run investment house. It’s a natural consequence of the new policy. People can take their five million dollars and put it directly into an IRS hedge fund. It’ll vastly increase tax revenues, and at the same time the government can assume a more overt role in managing booms, bubbles, and busts.”

In a related story, Phil and Connie James, an Oregon couple who just returned from their Mexico City vacation, told a reporter for their local paper they wouldn’t be applying for federal benefits.

“It sounds like a very nice package,” Mr. James said, “but we’re fine. We don’t need the money and we don’t make investments.”

Shortly after the paper ran their story, the James family was surrounded by a mob of angry residents who pelted them with eggs, stones, and marbles.

Mr. James and his two sons were transported to a local hospital. Mrs. James was unhurt. A doctor at the hospital emerged and made the following statement: “They’re okay after surgery. This is one of those situations, frankly, where you don’t want to give people care, but you have to. We take an oath to help, and we live up to it.”

Gregory Pinch, the president of the Disabled Persons of America United, a non-profit subsidiary of the World Disability League, held a press conference in a handicapped parking space in front of a Vons Supermarket in Los Angeles.

“We’re happy tonight,” he said. “But no one should think our work is over. We’re not suddenly extinct. This is just the beginning. There’s a long way to go. We demand full limb and organ replacement for every American over fifty. That remains our goal, and we’re not backing down an inch from it.”

NASA has just received what it states is the first clear non-human communication from space. Coming through Reuters and AP, the message reads: “There is and has been, for many eons, life on Mars. We are the Martians. We are coming, with translators. Ready your applications for federal aid. We have needs, and they must be met. After careful studies, our relocation preferences are Bel-Air, and Scarsdale.”

Henry Kissinger, reached at his underground home in Mordor, Virginia, spoke slowly into television cameras: “Why don’t we simply erase the US-Mexico border? Extend full benefits to everyone on both sides. It reduces traffic, and when environmentally necessary depopulation swings into high gear, the whole question of welfare will become moot.”

At the open today, the stock price of the Home Shopping Network jumped from 57 to 134. Bill Gates and Warren Buffett are meeting with Wal-Mart executives. Talks involve the injection of 30 billion dollars of new capital into store expansion. Reports indicate Wal-Mart is about to break ground on a new superstore that will cover 9000 acres in Montana.

The acreage will adjoin a gigantic housing development to be built for immigrants from Somali, the North Pole, Tierra del Fuego, London, and Toronto.

Monsanto has just announced the introduction of a wireless detection system that can calculate the quantity of GMO food any human in America consumes over the course of his/her lifetime.

“This is a cumulative and ongoing up-to-the-minute sum for each person,” a corporate press release indicated. “In conjunction with the federal government, for every kilo of GMO vegetable, grain, or flesh ingested, welfare benefits in the amount of eight thousand dollars will be added to that person’s investment account.”

General Morris Flathead Rigor, chairman of the joint chiefs, told Wolf Blitzer, “America is going to have an army of millionaires. I think it’s wonderful. We have to invade and destroy foreign populations. That’s our mandate. With very rich combat soldiers in the field, we’ll be much happier doing our work.”

Have a nice day.  We’re all in this together.

Those Days Are Over...now that they've been caught

Obama uses 'Power' to cut America down to size.

We should all be frightened of Samantha Power. Using the mantle of a human rights activist, Power is exactly the opposite. Claiming the moral highroad of protecting all, she will issue in breathtaking tyranny. She would happily oversee the destruction of Israel, while furthering the Caliphate and a Progressive (Marxist) planetary rule. She will institute “justice” with warfare and death. Samantha Power rides a pale horse indeed. She grovels to our enemies, promotes the slaughter of our allies and places America’s neck on the Islamic chopping block.
Samantha Power wields the hand that rocks a nation and the geopolitical landscape across the planet. In the name of peace, she will usher in Armageddon if allowed to. Welcome to Obama’s Coup D’etat, Gramsci style.
I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him.  ~ The Book of Revelation, Chapter 6. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Samantha Power: The Hand That Rocks A Nation
By: Terresa Monroe-Hamilton
Samantha Power
I have written on Samantha Power before and you can see our research on her here at KeyWiki.org.  Power, who is married to Barack Obama’s long-time friend and ex-Regulatory Czar, Cass Sunstein, is an intense enemy to Israel as is his wife.  She is an apologist for America and shares with Obama a desire to see America cut down to size. I want to start off by giving you a bit of insight into Power’s viewpoints.

In 2002, Harry Kreisler, Director of the Institute for International Studies at Berkeley conducted an interview with Samantha Power, asking her the following question:
“Let me give you a thought experiment here, and it is the following: without addressing the Palestine – Israel problem, let’s say you were an advisor to the President of the United States, how would you respond to current events there? Would you advise him to put a structure in place to monitor that situation, at least if one party or another [starts] looking like they might be moving toward genocide?”
Power responded:
“What we don’t need is some kind of early warning mechanism there, what we need is a willingness to put something on the line in helping the situation. Putting something on the line might mean alienating a domestic constituency of tremendous political and financial import; it may more crucially mean sacrificing — or investing, I think, more than sacrificing — billions of dollars, not in servicing Israel’s military, but actually investing in the new state of Palestine, in investing the billions of dollars it would probably take, also, to support what will have to be a mammoth protection force, not of the old Rwanda kind, but a meaningful military presence. Because it seems to me at this stage (and this is true of actual genocides as well, and not just major human rights abuses, which were seen there), you have to go in as if you’re serious, you have to put something on the line.
Unfortunately, imposition of a solution on unwilling parties is dreadful. It’s a terrible thing to do, it’s fundamentally undemocratic. But, sadly, we don’t just have a democracy here either, we have a liberal democracy. There are certain sets of principles that guide our policy, or that are meant to, anyway. It’s essential that some set of principles becomes the benchmark, rather than a deference to [leaders] who are fundamentally politically destined to destroy the lives of their own people. And by that I mean what Tom Freidman has called “Sharafat.” I do think in that sense, both political leaders have been dreadfully irresponsible. And, unfortunately, it does require external intervention.”
Tom Hayden wrote an article for The Rag Blog on March 30, 2011 on Samantha Power, “Obama’s ‘humanitarian hawk’: Samantha Power goes to war”:
Power has made a remarkable career recovery since calling Hillary Clinton a “monster” during the 2008 presidential primaries. She resigned from the Obama campaign after that comment, but has returned to become a special assistant to the president and member of his National Security Council.
Over a long conversation with Power in December 2003, I was struck by the generational factor in her thinking. If she had experienced Vietnam in her early twenties, I felt, she would have joined the radical left, suspicious always of American power. But as an Irish internationalist witnessing death and destruction in the former Yugoslavia, she wondered how the United States could be neutral. She strongly favored the American intervention and air war that followed.
I asked whether she would have favored the Clinton administration sending combat troops to battle the Serbs, a scenario which was in the works when Russia pulled its support from Belgrade, effectively ending that war. I didn’t get an answer, only the promise of “a long conversation” in the future.
Power generalized from her Balkans experience to become an advocate of American and NATO military intervention in humanitarian crises, a position which became known as being a “humanitarian hawk.” She began to see war as an instrument for achieving her liberal, even radical, values.
“The United States must also be prepared to risk the lives of its soldiers” to stop the threat of genocide, she wrote. She condemned Western “appeasement” of dictators. She believed that “the battle to stop genocide has been repeatedly lost in the realm of domestic politics.” In her mind, domestic concerns like discrimination and unemployment are secondary to foreign policy crises, a common attitude in the national security circles she was entering.
Samantha Power is a staunch advocate of the Responsibility to Protect Doctrine and she is directly responsible for what happened in Libya. She is closely tied to George Soros and his worldviews. Obama has just named Power as the new Ambassador to the United Nations, where she will be at the helm of doing monstrous damage on a global scale.
From Bloomberg:
She played a role, along with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice and other NSC advisers, in convincing Obama to push for a UN Security Council resolution to authorize a coalition military force to protect Libyan civilians. Other administration figures were concerned about the effectiveness of a no-fly zone and differences within NATO over what Defense Secretary Robert Gates warned would be a “big operation.” [...]
Power, who sought the limelight as a writer and public intellectual, has learned to be a behind-the-scenes policymaker over the past two years, associates say.
Melanie Phillips says we should all be frightened of Samantha Power and she is right.
Rush Limbaugh said that the appointment of Samantha Power was a big “F. You” to the American people. He’s right. Obama’s mask is coming off and his totalitarian face is bearing down on us. Where is the outrage at her appointment? Has no one in America’s leadership the integrity and fortitude to speak out against this travesty? So far, just one… Ted Cruz — who might just be President one day. He’d have my vote:
Never shy about his views, Cruz bluntly questioned a series of statements Power has made, including a 2003 essay in which she called for the U.S. to institute a “doctrine of the mea culpa” to enhance credibility.
“No nation has spilled more blood or sacrificed more for the freedom of others than ours, and yet Ms. Power has publicly embraces the need for America to continue apologizing to the world for perceived transgressions, going so far as to explicitly urge ‘instituting a doctrine of the mea culpa’,” Cruz said in a written statement.
Samantha Power wields the hand that rocks a nation and the geopolitical landscape across the planet. In the name of peace, she will usher in Armageddon if allowed to. Welcome to Obama’s Coup D’etat, Gramsci style.
