"lie in the sand and watch the world go to hell" ...you might as well as long as Obama, Pelosi, and Reid are making the rules

By Norman E. Hooben
There's a line in the book The Diplomat's Daughter that goes like this:
Still bitter about Woodrow Wilson's "treachery", Bullitt had resolved to find some exotic place where he could "lie in the sand and watch the world go to hell".
But if only there were such a place...as President Ronald Reagan once said, "We are indeed, and we are today, the last best hope of man on earth." The diplomat referred to in the above quote was William C. Bullitt an advisor not only to President Woodrow Wilson but also Franklin D. Roosevelt. The lie in the sand line best describes my frustrations with the American people who have no clue as to what is about to happen...it may be next week or next year but definitely something big will happen...total collapse of the economy, total collapse of the country...or both!  ...and then there's the unknown and when that happens...awe forget it, go lie in the sand and watch the world go to hell.

Just for the heck of it let's suppose that history indeed repeats itself. What do we have here?
William Christian Bullitt Sent On Secret Mission To Russia (by Woodrow Wilson)
William Christian Bullitt Sent On Secret Mission To Russia (by Franklin D. Roosevelt)
Henry Kissinger Sent On Secret Mission To Russia (by Barack Husein Obama)
Yes you can consider the statements a repeat of history with only one slight difference...the first meeting was post war while the others preceded war...and yes, the third falls into that category for the war that's yet to commence. I suppose we will never know exactly what those meetings were all about because they are what they are, secret. But the need for such hanky-panky behind the backs of the American people is somewhat worrisome...after all, the meetings are with our enemies.
We do know this much about the participants in that they are all members of the so-called politic elite and most, if not all belong to organizations that want to control the world and it's population (no need to list them all here but just a few; Skull and Bones, Scroll and Key, CFR ...and there are those that will refer to this as a conspiracy theory when in fact it is a conspiracy. Listen to John F. Kennedy's secret society speech here.) And don't forget that Henry Kissinger was the architect of Project 2000, a once top secret population control study supported by Jimmy Carter... whose sole purpose is to reduce the world's population by 2 billion people through war, famine, disease and any other means necessary

Does this all sound exactly what Obama is doing?  He is destroying the country as we know it.  When is the last time you have seen so much interest in government? ...in interest rates? ...in gold? ...in corruption? ...in the cost of food?  the cost of land ...let me stop right there for a minute.  Just minutes ago I was browsing the web and came across this:
This Is Starting To Get Very Real: Agricultural Commodity Prices Have Exploded And Now The Price Of Food Is Beginning To Rise Substantially In The United States And All Over The World
Do you believe that you will always be able to run out to Wal-Mart or to the local supermarket and buy massive amounts of inexpensive food?  If so, you might want to think again.  During 2010, agricultural commodity prices have absolutely exploded.  Nearly every single important agricultural commodity has seen a double digit percentage price increase.  In fact, the S&P GSCI Agriculture Index recently surged to a fresh two year high.  Now food producers and retailers are starting to pass those commodity price increases on to consumers.  Today when I went to the supermarket I was absolutely startled by some of the price increases that I witnessed.  On some of the items that I most commonly purchase, prices were up 20 or 30 percent.  So just what in the world is going on here?  Well, it turns out that there was a lot of bad weather around the world this year, so many harvests were worse than projected.  In addition, the growing population of the world has an increasingly voracious appetite for food.  When supply gets tighter as demand continues to go up that means that prices are going to increase.
On a recent article on our sister site entitled "Rampant Inflation In 2011? The Monetary Base Is Exploding, Commodity Prices Are Skyrocketing And The Fed Wants To Print Lots More Money" a reader named Erica left a comment describing the food prices that she is seeing in her area....
Food inflation is real, and it is here. Just yesterday I compared my receipt from a grocery run to prices I have from the same exact store from September 15, 2009. Bacon? Up 52% to $13.69 from $8.99 for 4 lbs. Butter? Up 73% to $9.99 from $5.79 for 4 lbs. Pure vanilla extract up 14% to $6.79 from $5.95. Chopped dried onions up a mere 2% but minced garlic (wet) was up 32%. …Story continues here

The 21st-Century Land Rush
By Blake Hurst Wednesday, September 22, 2010
The move toward securing farmland in faraway places can be seen not only as a bet on increasing food prices, but also as a hedge against a breakdown in world trade.  Farmers often joke that they don't want any more land... except their neighbors'. These days, the old joke is playing itself out on the world stage. Countries are looking outside their borders for more land in a bid to protect their food supplies. Large investors are betting on higher grain prices. It’s a twenty-first century land rush.
A recent study by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations documented the purchase of 2.5 million hectares by foreign investors in five African countries. China purchased 100,000 hectares in Zimbabwe, part of a series of investments that led to more than a million Chinese farmers in Africa. Indian companies purchased hundreds of thousands of hectares in Africa. The Hindustan Times reports that the government of India is urging Indian firms to buy land in South America. South Korea secured 690,000 hectares in Sudan. Saudi Arabia purchased half a million acres in Tanzania. Kuwait recently purchased 130,000 hectares of rice fields in Cambodia. Qatar leased 20,000 hectares in Kenya.
China purchased 100,000 hectares in Zimbabwe, part of a series of investments that have led to more than a million Chinese farmers in Africa.
Private groups are also making large investments in land. Steve Fairchild, editor of Today's Farmer, reports that George Soros raised $350 million to buy farmland in Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and Africa. The grain company Bunge is exploring the possibility of raising $100 million ... Story continues here [The American.com]
Getting back to those secret meetings... It is interesting to note that Obama sent his envoy (Kissinger) to make plans with the Russians in December of 2008...the month before Obama was inaugurated while both Wilson and Roosevelt were well under way in their terms of office.  The fact that George W. Bush was the president then one wonders how much collusion was going on...don't forget, both Bush and his father Herbert Walker Bush are NWO enthusiasts.
Also, I strongly believe that William Christian Bullitt was well aware of the plot to destroy America by Woodrow Wilson and company but he was too naive to realize that FDR was incorporated into the same company...although I think he figured it out and that's when he switced parties and became a Republican.  Ronald Reagan was once a Democrat and he also figured it out just as I have... Do you think John F. Kennedy figured it
out (go back and listen to his secret society speech)? ~ Norman E. Hooben
