Water, the gift of God may be stolen by the government - More on S787...we the people need to act!

The following post is from the ChicagoBluesGirl.com. Please be sure to watch the video... and more importantly, copy the form letter and send to your senators including Senator Feingold. This takeover by the government has to be stopped by the people. Private property rights has been with us for a long time; written into the Constitution, it has it's origins dating back to the Magna Carta. Feingold Bill Gives ALL US Water To The Feds!

In April, 2009, Senator Feingold (D-WI) introduced (and gathered 24 co-sponsors already) legislation, S. 787, to fundamentally change the definition of “water” under control of the federal government. (Cut and paste into browser–preview will not function):

To U.S. Senator Russ Feingold

Regarding Senate Bill 787

You have been elected by the people of the State of Wisconsin to serve your constituency. Since when does making a law to turn over our waterways to the Federal Government serve the people of our state?! Furthermore, all residents and industry throughout the Midwest U.S. could be jeopardized and penalized by this law.

We, the People of Wisconsin, believe in States Rights and the rights of voters in our elections to be responsibly represented by public officials in Washington who represent and respect our local interests – which this bill clearly does not do!

If you proceed with this hazardous legislation, you can expect that We the People will spread the word of your betrayal of our trust to all voters in Wisconsin and to all fellow residents throughout the Midwest. There was a time we respected your diligence and trusted your representation. There was even a time many in Wisconsin considered you fit for even higher office. Any movement forward on S 787 will demonstrate your negligence of the needs of the population you have been sworn to represent.

We have a right to expect our Senator to represent our interests. Stop S 787 Now!

Yours truly

(A __________(Your state) resident and voter)
