Sheriff Vice and Patrol In Chase AGAIN

Deputies encountered the vehicle on Cottonwood Road at Cannon Oil. A Chase started.

The Chase ran in the area of Rollins Avenue and East Coe Dairy Road. The vehicle chase ended on Connelly Street and the 1700 block of South Saint Andrews Street. The suspect vehicle was traveling on Connelly as it approached Andrews. The suspect could not make the turn and ran into the driveway of a house. The suspect bailed from the vehicle and fled on foot. The suspect described as an Hispanic male ran and crossed Oates Street. Law Enforcement track dogs attempted to track the suspect. Dothan Police and Alabama State troopers searched the area with Houston County. Houston County Sheriff and chief Deputy Donald Valenza responded and assisted. A Houston County Sheriff Deputy was bit by a Dothan Police K-9. Houston County Sheriff Department continues to investigate.
