Election Central....What do you think about the debates?

  1. Gingrich is a very strong debater, Romney leaves me cold. In fact, I think he sometimes comes off as being unsure and nervous. Santorum is very valid but doesn't have enough opportunities to express his views, the moderators are giving him more attention lately. Ron Paul makes me want to tear out my hair. He's a non-issue as far as I'm concerned and I wish he'd pull out.

Santorum is a solid Conservative with few skeletons in his closet and he'd be my choice. Just afraid he can't beat Obama. I don't trust Romney and I've been reading a lot about Gingrich being a "Progressive." Didn't like his comment when criticezing Romney about earning too much money, he sounded like Obama.

  2. Pretty much agree with everything you say but I cannot commit myself to any of them...Romney does not understand Islam http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/2009/07/why-romney-wont-be-president.html

Meanwhile not a single candidate is talking about the cancer that is eating this country alive...everything from the UN, the CFR and all the New World Order factions...they're all in it together

  3. The trouble is that we are not electing the President of the Debating Society, but President of the United States. While Gingrich is a great debater, he has too much baggage to be able to attack Obama without having to defend every action he did in the past.

I find the debates boring. We have our Crazy Grandpa spouting his Libertarian nonsense, the used car salesman who will say anything to everyone to get elected, the Professor who has more baggage than a baggage handler, and the has been not knowing when to get out.

I expect that we will be subjected to more debates before Super Tuesday.

    G-d help us!

  4. I'm with ya on the "help us" ...and I still believe in miracles for that's what it will take to get us out of this trouble.

  6. Tough call... Maybe Romney has the best chance, but I like Gingrich, nonetheless. He does say some crazy things, sometimes, but he has accomplished some things that no other candidate can claim. The disdain for him in Washington does almost classify him as a "Washington outsider", though he is tagged otherwise. His work from the 90's are some of the most beneficial moments of our history. The budget, welfare reform, tax reduction, and jobs were not our biggest problem when/after
he was speaker. It is, now, again.
