Breaking News from ABCNEWS.com:

431,000 Jobs Added in May, Fastest Rate in 10 Years but Below Analysts' Expectations [8:42 a.m. ET]

It must be very important for they announce it as, "Breaking News" right there in the subject line! Is that somehow going to grab my attention? Yes, I'll buy that.  But its the rest of the story I don't buy! There was not really 431,000 jobs added.  Those were government jobs as reported by the Bureau Of Labor:

THE EMPLOYMENT SITUATION -- MAY 2010

Total nonfarm payroll employment grew by 431,000 in May, reflecting
the hiring of 411,000 temporary employees to work on Census 2010, the
U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Private-sector em-
ployment changed little (+41,000). Manufacturing, temporary help ser-
vices, and mining added jobs, while construction employment declined.
The unemployment rate edged down to 9.7 percent.

And they were only temporary jobs at that!  Everyone knows (except ABC News) that the government never produces any wealth from government created jobs.  The government simply takes money (taxes) from those that produce wealth (real, private sector jobs) and gives it to freeloaders who don't have the wherewith all to find real employment.  Why does ABC News like to distort the real numbers?  Because they are in the tank with the Obama crowd and will attempt to make the Chicago gangster look good whenever they can. ~ Norman E.
