About This Video "The Americans"
"The Americans"On June 5 1973, Canadian radio commentator Gordon Sinclair delivered a stirring, pro-American editorial. The United States had just pulled out of the Vietnam War which ended in a stalemate - a war fought daily on TV, over radio and in the press. The war had divided the American people, and at home and abroad it seemed everyone was lambasting the United States. Outraged by what he saw and heard that morning, in his noon-hour broadcast, Sinclair rose to the defense of the American people - and his voice was heard around the world. His editorial was later released on a record (titled "The Americans"), with all royalties donated to the American Red Cross.

I Pledge, You Pledge, We All Pledge...
As it was in the beginning and now, as it should be, I will live, I will fight, and I will die for God and country…in that order…and no one shall stand in my way…amen.
