Guest columnist Alex Alben suggests the breathless commentary of how the economy will affect the 2012 presidential election misses several nuanced points. Among them is that private industry creates most of the jobs and that government policy influence, while important, is limited.

PRESIDENT Obama and the Democrats have a problem in the 2012 elections relating to the fallacy that the party in power "creates jobs" and therefore should be punished for a high national unemployment rate.

We can trace the roots of this rhetorical canard to the Clinton era, when Democrats boasted that 23 million new American jobs were created in an eight-year span from 1993-2001. Bill Clinton can rightfully claim that fiscal decisions made in the early years of his administration, symbolized by the 1994 budget and tax increases, set a stage for private investment and economic growth. However, job growth of that era had more to do with global business expansion, a booming technology sector and gains in workplace productivity than the decisions made by the man in the Oval Office.

A president has certain economic levers to shape fiscal and monetary policy. Deficit spending by the federal government pumps money into the economy, but doesn't directly lead to sustainable economic growth. The Federal Reserve sets interest rates between banks and can work to expand money supply and restrain inflation, tuning the environment for investment.

The private sector, however, is the seedbed for jobs. Of 153.7 million American workers, according to the Department of Labor, only 2.8 million are federal workers, 3.8 million have state government jobs, and 11.1 million are employed by cities and counties. More than 88 percent of all American jobs are in the private domain.

Many factors influence economic health and hiring decisions in both small and large businesses. Consumer spending, the housing market, foreign shocks, such as wars and terrorist attacks, and the invention of compelling new products all combine to form the soup of economic activity. Job creation reflects the confidence of hiring managers that consumers will continue to buy their products and that more people engaged in making products and services will lead to long-term profit, justifying the additional costs of expanding the labor force.

Yet if job creation is an economic bet made by many thousands of firms trying to assess future economic conditions, why do politicians persistently claim that they are responsible for job growth?

Quite simply, the job creation claim worked for President Clinton in his 1998 re-election campaign and for candidate Barack Obama in 2008. We should note that the U.S. economy also expanded under George W. Bush and 3 million net jobs were created in his two terms, but the country also suffered from 22 months of recession in his 96 months in office.

Obama ran on a platform of job creation, even with the headwinds of the business cycle and the economic meltdown precipitated by the financial crisis at the close of 2008. Asking to be measured by net job creation during any four-year period is a dangerous game and it has come back to haunt our 44th president.

The topic of a president's influence on the U.S. economy begs for a long and lucid discussion rather than the ridiculous banter served up by media pundits, who opine that Obama can't win re-election if the unemployment rate stays above 9 percent heading into November 2012.

Measuring presidential performance by a single statistic ignores both the good and bad decisions made by the Obama administration regarding our auto industry, payroll-tax cuts, unemployment benefits, the bank bailout (and repayment), and stepping in to keep the global financial system from spinning out of control in early 2009.

Historian Thomas Carlyle dubbed economics "the dismal science," yet the field covers the interactions between consumers, companies, traders, bankers, markets, merchants, unions, inventors and laborers that constitute the wonderfully complex set of relationships that make the world go 'round.

If we continue to indulge the overblown claims by politicians that they can do anything more than tinker around the edges of global economic forces, then we only have ourselves to blame for misplaced expectations.

Why All the Robo-Signing? Shining a Light on the Shadow Banking System

The Wall Street Journal reported [6] on January 19 that the Obama administration was pushing heavily to get the 50 state attorneys general to agree to a settlement with five major banks in the "robo-signing" scandal. The scandal involves employees signing names not their own, under titles they did not really have, attesting to the veracity of documents they had not really reviewed. Investigation is revealing that it did not just happen occasionally, but was an industry-wide practice, dating back to the late 1990s; and that it may have clouded the titles of millions of homes. If the settlement is agreed to, it will let Wall Street bankers off the hook for crimes that would land the rest of us in jail - fraud, forgery, securities violations and tax evasion. To the president's credit, however, he seems to have shifted his position on the settlement in response to protests before his State of the Union address. In his speech on January 24, President Obama did not mention the settlement, but announced instead that he would be creating a mortgage crisis unit to investigate wrongdoing related to real estate lending. "This new unit will hold accountable those who broke the law, speed assistance to homeowners and help turn the page on an era of recklessness that hurt so many Americans," he said.
The Deeper Question Is, Why?
Whether massive robo-signing occurred is no longer in issue. The question that needs to be investigated is why it was being done. The alleged justification - that the bankers were so busy that they cut corners - hardly seems credible given the extent of the practice.
The robo-signing largely involved assignments of mortgage notes to mortgage servicers or trusts representing the investors who put up the loan money. Assignment was necessary to give the trusts legal title to the loans. But assignment was delayed until it was necessary to foreclose on the homes, when it had to be done through the forgery and fraud of robo-signing. Why had it been delayed? Why did the banks not assign the mortgages to the trusts when and as required by law?

Here is a working hypothesis, suggested by [8] Martin Andelman: securitized mortgages are the "pawns" used in the pawn shop known as the "repo market." "Repos" are overnight sales and repurchases of collateral. Yale economist Gary Gorton explains [9] that repos are the "deposit insurance" for the shadow banking system, which is now larger than the conventional banking system and is necessary for the conventional system to operate. The problem is that repos require "sales," which means the mortgage notes have to remain free to be bought and sold. The mortgages are left unendorsed so they can be used in this repo market.
The Evolution of the Shadow Banking System
Gorton observes that there is a massive and growing demand for banking by large institutional investors - pension funds, mutual funds, hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds - which have millions of dollars to park somewhere between investments. But FDIC insurance covers only up to $250,000. FDIC insurance was resisted in the 1930s by bankers and government officials and was pushed through as a populist movement: the people demanded it. What they got was enough insurance to cover the deposits of individuals and no more. Today, the large institutional investors want similar coverage. They want an investment that is secure, that provides them with a little interest and that is liquid like a traditional deposit account, allowing quick withdrawal.
The shadow banking system evolved in response to this need, operating largely through the repo market. "Repos" are sales and repurchases of highly liquid collateral, typically Treasury debt or mortgage-backed securities - the securitized units into which American real estate has been ground up and packaged, sausage-fashion. The collateral is bought by a "special purpose vehicle" (SPV), which acts as the shadow bank. The investors put their money in the SPV and keep the securities, which substitute for FDIC insurance in a traditional bank. (If the SPV fails to pay up, the investors can foreclose on the securities.) To satisfy the demand for liquidity, the repos are one-day or short-term deals, continually rolled over until the money is withdrawn. This money is used by the banks for other lending, investing or speculating. Gorton writes [9]:

This banking system (the "shadow" or "parallel" banking system) - repo based on securitization - is a genuine banking system, as large as the traditional, regulated banking system. It is of critical importance to the economy because it is the funding basis for the traditional banking system. Without it, traditional banks will not lend and credit, which is essential for job creation, will not be created.

All Behind the Curtain of MERS
The housing shell game was made possible because it was all concealed behind an electronic smokescreen called MERS (an acronym for Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc.). MERS allowed houses to be shuffled around among multiple, rapidly changing owners while circumventing local recording laws. Title would be recorded in the name of MERS as a placeholder for the investors and MERS would foreclose on behalf of the investors. Payments would be received by the mortgage servicer, which was typically the bank that signed the mortgage with the homeowner. The homeowner usually thinks the servicer is the lender, but in fact it is an amorphous group of investors.
This all worked until courts started questioning [10] whether MERS, which admitted that it was a mere conduit without title, had standing to foreclose. Courts have increasingly held that it does not.
Making matters worse for the servicing banks, Fannie Mae sent out a memo telling servicers that in order to be reimbursed under HAMP - a government loan modification program designed to help at-risk homeowners meet their mortgage payments - the servicers would have to produce the paperwork showing the loan had been assigned to the trust.
The hasty solution was a rash of assignments signed by an army of "robo-signers," to be filed in the public records. But the documents are patent forgeries, making a shambles of county title records.
Complicating all this are tax issues. Since 1986, mortgage-backed securities have been issued to investors through SPVs called REMICs (Real Estate Mortgage Investment Conduits). REMICs are designed as tax shelters; but to qualify for that status, they must be "static." Mortgages can't be transferred in and out once the closing date has occurred. The REMIC Pooling and Servicing Agreement typically states that any transfer significantly after the closing date is invalid. Yet, the newly robo-signed documents, which are required to begin foreclosure proceedings, are almost always executed long after the trust's closing date. The whole business is quite complicated [11], but the bottom line is that title has been clouded not only by MERS, but because the trusts purporting to foreclose do not own the properties by the terms of their own documents.
John O'Brien, register of deeds for the Southern Essex District of Massachusetts, calls it a "criminal enterprise." On January 18, he called for a full-scale criminal investigation [12], including a grand jury, to look into the evidence. He sent to Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley, US Attorney General Eric Holder and US Attorney Carmen Ortiz over 30,000 documents recorded in the Salem Registry that he says are fraudulent.
From Lending Machines to Borrowing Machines
The bankers have engaged in what amounts to a massive fraud, not necessarily because they started out with criminal intent, but because they have been required to in order to come up with the collateral (in this case real estate) to back their loans. It is the way our system is set up: the banks are not really creating credit and advancing it to us, counting on our future productivity to pay it off, the way they once did under the deceptive but functional façade of fractional reserve lending. Instead, they are vacuuming up our money and lending it back to us at higher rates.
"Instead of lending into the economy," says British money reformer Ann Pettifor, "bankers are borrowing from the real economy." She wrote [13] in The Huffington Post in October 2010:

[T]he crazy facts are these: bankers now borrow from their customers and from taxpayers. They are effectively draining funds from household bank accounts, small businesses, corporations, government Treasuries and from e.g. the Federal Reserve. They do so by charging high rates of interest and fees; by demanding early repayment of loans; by illegally foreclosing on homeowners and by appropriating and then speculating with trillions of dollars of taxpayer-backed resources.

Not only has the system destroyed county title records, but it is highly vulnerable to bank runs and systemic collapse. In the shadow banking system, as in the old, fractional reserve banking system, the collateral is being double counted: it is owed to the borrowers and the depositors at the same time. This allows for expansion of the money supply, but bank runs can occur when the borrowers and the depositors demand their money at the same time. And unlike the conventional banking system, the shadow banking system is largely unregulated. It doesn't have the backup of FDIC insurance to prevent bank runs.
That is what happened in September 2008 following the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers, a major investment bank. Gorton explains that it was a run on the shadow banking system [14] that caused the credit collapse that followed. Investors rushed to pull their money out overnight. LIBOR - the London interbank lending rate for short-term loans - shot up to around 5 percent. Since the cost of borrowing the money to cover loans was too high for banks to turn a profit, lending abruptly came to a halt.
Fixing the System
The question is how to eliminate this systemic risk. As noted by The Business Insider [15]:

Regulate shadow banking more tightly and you probably have to also provide government backstops. Shudder. Try to shut the thing down or restrict it and you suck credit out of the system, credit which much of the non-financial "'real" economy uses and needs.

Interestingly, countries with strong public-sector banking systems largely escaped the 2008 credit crisis. These include the BRIC countries [16] - Brazil, Russia, India and China - which contain 40 percent of the global population and are today's fastest growing economies. They escaped because their public-sector banks do not need to rely on repos and securitizations to back their loans. The banks are owned and operated by the ultimate guarantor - the government itself. The public-sector banking model deserves further study.
Whatever the solution, a system that requires the slicing and dicing of mortgages behind an electronic smokescreen so they can be bought and sold as collateral for the pawn shop of the repo market is obviously fraught with perils and is unsustainable. Please contact your state attorney general and urge him or her not to go through with the robo-signing settlement, which will be granting immunity for crimes that are not yet fully known. Reading the Qur'an is not easy because it is archaic, redundant and jumbled, lacking context & chronology. The Noble Qur'an, translated by Hilali & Khan, is reputed to be 95% accurate and contains parenthetical expressions from tafsirs and the translator's footnotes. Several Surahs are essential to understanding the malignantly militant nature of Islam: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 33, 47, 48, 49 & 61. You can select them from a pick list at the top of the page.
Hadith are sayings of Muhammad, passed down from mouth to ear by his companions. They have been collected by several scholars, the most widely accepted collection being that of Bukhari. Like the Qur'an, hadith collections suffer from redundancy. Begin with Books 52, 53 & 59, then read the others if you have sufficient patience.
Tafsir are scholarly explanations of the Qur'an. They use parallel verses and relevant ahadith to clarify the verses. Tafsir Ibn Kathir is fairly complete and easily accessible. You can select the Surahs listed above and read them instead of the Qur'an & hadith to save time and effort.
Islamic biography and history are also important, but less easily accessible than the Qur'an, hadith and tafsir. Craig Winn compiled selections of the canon into a 1000 page book with the quotes compiled into handy appendices "The Prophet of Doom".
For those lacking the time, patience and ambition to tackle the large tomes, there is a short book which encapsulates the most essential information: Suhas Majumdar's "Jihad: The Islamic Doctrine of Permanent War".
Pamela Geller raises the issue of Shari'ah: Islamic law based on the Qur'an & hadith. Much of it is arcane, dealing with matters of prayer & ritual purity. Reuters went on to report that "Hamas gunmen in Gaza said they were calling off a de facto truce in force with Israel… paving the way for a further violent escalation." All observers anticipate a massive Palestinian intifada (uprising) soon.

How much blame can be assigned to Obama for these new events? The culpability that can be ascribed to amateur foreign policy versus abject complicity with the Islamists, no one knows for sure. But the fact remains that Barack Obama bears a considerable measure of responsibility for Israel's turmoil – and things are only going to get worse.

Now the United Nations wants to force Israel into surrendering sovereign, strategically vital territory to her Arab-Palestinian attackers. Only the United States, through a UN Security Council Veto, can stop the Israel-hating United Nations from decimating God's Chosen People.

The United Nations is preparing for an illicit and immoral vote designed to force Israel to forfeit land to the terrorist front Hamas and the Palestinian Authority. Barack Obama by all indications and reports is supporting this homicidal plan.

And if you and thousands of other American patriots do not act NOW, undergird Declaration Alliance with means to gain widespread public pro-ally, pro-Israel, pro-common sense support, and compel Congress to STAND WITH ISRAEL then, any day, the UN may make subversive Palestinian statehood – unnegotiated with Israel and irrespective of Israeli security requirements – a deadly reality. In this video George Soros talks about the new World Order and the “managed” “slow decline” of the US dollar. He wants a “world currency,” no doubt on the manner of the Euro, which has failed miserably. Soros is credited with saying this in 1993:

What We're Learning about Obamacare isn't Good -- Especially for Seniors

While I taught at the University of Virginia, I served for a while as associate dean. My dean at the time, Bill Shenkir, used a phrase that I thought was particularly helpful when we were contemplating major decisions: "Let's reduce the fog factor." By that he meant that we should always examine the ramifications of our decisions on our students' classroom experience since teaching them was our primary mission.

Obamacare is an example of a federal government program that would not have been enacted if the fog factor test had been applied. While Congress debated Obamacare, talk about death panels and rationing of healthcare services abounded, but the warnings came from Republicans who were in the minority in the House and the Senate. Their objections were dismissed out of hand. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority leader Harry Reid rounded up Democrat votes and shoved Obamacare down our throats with the blessing of President Obama. The jury is still out on the legality of Obamacare, but while we wait for the courts to rule on the constitutional issues involved, the Obama administration is rapidly implementing the program. By the time the courts finally reach a decision, our healthcare system won't resemble what we had prior to March 2010 when Nancy Pelosi used her oversized gavel to pound Obamacare through the House over strenuous objections from most Americans.

Our senior citizens are most at risk under Obamacare -- especially those over 70. Rationing of services and death panels (only they're called "ethics panels" under Obamacare instead of death panels for obvious reasons) are now the rule, not the exception. I have a friend who is a loyal Democrat and a strong Obama supporter. In 2008 when she voted for Obama, she couldn't imagine that in 2012 she would have a massive heart attack and need a pacemaker. Prior to 2010 and the passage of Obamacare, that would have been a routine procedure, but not anymore. She's over 70, and under Obamacare people who are over 70 routinely receive "comfort care." That's a euphemism. It means that a panel of experts has determined that your life isn't worth saving beyond 70, so they will try to make you feel good while you die.

Where Obamacare is concerned, we're beginning to be able to see through the fog, and what we're learning isn't good, especially for seniors, and it's just the tip of the iceberg. If Obama is re-elected and Democrats retain their majority in the Senate, those "ethics panels" will busily go about doing their job and senior citizens will die prematurely from maladies that are easily treatable, and for one reason: they are over 70. That's it in a nutshell. I'm not trying to frighten anyone. I'm simply presenting a fact.

If you're a senior citizen and you want to take advantage of the medical technologies that your tax dollars paid to help develop over the years, you should think long and hard before casting a vote for Obama in 2012. For that matter, you should carefully consider the wisdom of voting for Democrats period. I'm not a Republican. In fact, I was a Democrat until 1985, but I saw what the Democratic Party stands for while I served as Virginia Governor Chuck Robb's Policy Advisor for Regulatory Reform and realized that I can't support the things that they hold most dear -- chief among them being the right of a woman to kill her unborn child without penalty or even criticism and handouts to every group imaginable without regard for morality, our nation's security, or our ability to pay.

The Republican Party isn't perfect by a long shot and neither are its candidates, but the party is trying to undo the damage done by Obamacare; it's the party that supports the right to life; and it's the party that is attempting to reduce needless spending and trying to solve our deficit and debt problems. President Obama and like-minded Democrats in the House and Senate are principally responsible for creating and exacerbating those problems. Trusting them to solve those problems is ridiculous.

It has been 3 years of 24/7/365 fight. I was defamed, viciously maligned by so many Obots (Obama bots), pro-Obama media thugs, by a few corrupt officials and judges. Recently even people, who claimed to be on my side turned sides and viciously defamed me and attacked me. Among them were Arlen Williams, Dean Haskins, owner of a blog Birther Summit, Bob Nelson-owner of a blog Birther Report or ObamaReleaseYourRecords, Helen Tansey -owner of a blog art2superpac and even attorneys, who should’ve had some professional ethics. Attorneys Gary Kreep and Philip Berg filed insane pleadings, saying that I tried to hire a hit man to kill Lisa Liberi, legal assistant of attorney Berg and kidnap children of a web master Lisa Ostella. It has been 3 years of total nightmare, these people were like a pack of wild dogs attacking me and coming up with each and every accusation in the book. Now I am vindicated. My legal action is with merit. We are going to trial on January 26, 2012. I issued subpoenas. Barack Obama through his attorney Michael Jablonski filed a motion to quash my subpoena and all the other subpoenas. I was attacked yet again in this motion. Judge Malihi just issued an order. Motion to quash my subpoena was denied. Barack Obama, President of the United States will have to appear in court on January 26 and comply with my subpoena and produce all the documents, that I demanded. Interesting, that two other attorneys are representing plaintiffs on similar matters: Van Irion and Mark Hatfield. They could have an opportunity to examine Obama with me, however either because I was maligned so badly or because they were scared to press the most explosive charges, these attorneys filed motions for their cases to be severed from my case. Their motions were granted. Irion’s case will be heard first. He stated on the record, that his case will take only 10 minutes and will be limited to ascertainment if Obama is legitimate based on the precedent of Minor v Happerset. Obama will not be answering any of his questions. Second will be a case presented by attorney Hatfield. He, also, severed his case and did not issue any subpoenas. In his motion to sever he stated that he did not want to be joined in the same complaint with me, because he did not want to be part of a case, where I brought forward allegations of elections fraud and social security fraud committed by Barack Obama. Hatfield was saying that he was afraid that his clients will be prejudiced by such explosive allegations. Yesterday, after I filed an opposition to motion to quash, attorney Hatfield tried to follow suit by filing a notice to appear, however notice does not have as much of a force as a subpoena and I do not believe Obama will be complying with a notice, particularly since Hatfield’s complaint does not entail the same charges as mine. My case will be heard third. My case will not be limited to definition of natural born based on a case Minor v Happersett. I will be also presenting a case, showing that elections fraud was committed by Barack Obama, that he is using a forged birth certificate, stolen or fraudulently obtained Social Security number and that there is no evidence to believe that the last name he is using is legally his, due to the fact, that in his mother’s passport he goes under the name Soebarkah and in his school registration in Indonesia he went by the last name Soetoro. There is no evidence of legal change of name.
I wanted to thank people who helped me along the way with donations, who did not stick a knife in my back, like the ones mentioned before. Make no mistake about it. This is the beginning of Watergate2 or ObamaForgeryGate. I believe this is the second time in the U.S. history a sitting President is ordered to comply with a subpoena, and produce documents, which might eventually bring criminal charges to the President and a number of high ranking individuals.
I feel extremely proud to be a part of this historic moment. I guess an American dream is still alive, as this subpoena was issued by an immigrant, who was raised in a communist dictatorship of the Soviet Union and came here with one suitcase with a couple of dresses, who had to study English, to study law at night, while working as a dentist and raising a family with 3 children. Greetings Dr Taitz -- It is a pleasure to speak with you again. There are many conservatives living in the EU have witnessed (first hand) the changes a country goes though when a silver-tongued socialist or dictatorial figurehead and their absolute-power form of government strong-arms their way into power through a chain of corruption that is supported by a barrage of Utopian-like propaganda that, in the end, may be nothing like what was promised in the campaign, but designed for his/her's ultimate success. This is similar to a bloodless coup.

Once in office, those who loyally assisted in his/her successful rise to power are then rewarded with a lucrative "Thank You" in the form of an appointment to a high position within the new Administration. If there are not enough government positions available, the new leader will then create a position of limited power like a Czar, that could oversee an entire department within the government - whether the loyal subordinate has experience or not in the position (sound familiar?).

Dr. Taitz, you will be pleased to learn that many Europeans and people living in other regions around the world are aware of your gallant efforts to bring certain Articles of United States Constitution to the "table of compliance" which addresses not only Obama's eligibility (or ineligibility), but also his explanation of why he is alleged to have been using a fraudulent CT social security number when, in fact, Mr. Obama has never lived in Connecticut.

In addition there are a growing number of questionable transactions including what has become a "Solargate", of sorts in which hujnfreds of millions of taxpayer dollars was handed out to at least two solar technology companies that Mr.Obama had quietly authorized. "Solorgate" may also be connected to a relative of a prominent democrat that could be a conflict of interest and prove costly for Mr. Obama and the American people.

I have noticed a recent increase in the number of "conservative Europeans' who sympathize and support attorney Dr. Orly Taitz's uphill legal battles and the majority of Americans who are also fighting for America to "stay American" and keep their American way of life in tact. They (we) want to prevent the USA from having to endure the radical social and political fates that other countries have met.

Those foreign-born "patriots of conservative government", even though they live in the EU, are starting to speak-out on our behalf the United States (we Americans) because they, too, see the disturbing similarities in the sequence of events that has happened during the process of change their own country went through. In my opinion, I think the growing number of people living in the EU who are pro-American are worried that if the United States were to keep on their current path and fall into a socialist form of government, America's defenses will certainly erode by design and the desire to protect and keep those smaller and more politically vulnerable democratic nations will diminish as well, leaving smaller democracies even more vulnerable to unwanted political and in some cases military aggression by others -but this time with no "Big Brother" USA to come to their rescue.

They do NOT want to see America, the greatest and most generous country in the history of the planet, to have to endure the same suppressive changes and challenges they went through in their own country. Dr. Taitz knows this first hane, immigrating from a communist country herself and "Americanizing" herself to rise up and become a noted proponent for the return of relevancy of the Constitution and the preservation of "the American way of life".

Thanks to true American patriots like Dr. Orly Taitz, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and a few others who have engaged themselves in upholding the Constitution of the United States by challenging Obama's eligibility to be president as well as other legal issues that appear to be part of a pattern of deception in which Mr. Obama has followed to gain enough control to be handed the keys to the White House. Some Europeans and others know the truth about Mr. Obama. Why can't the USSC see it? Or d they see it and are afraid to investigate because of political pressure to "just let it ride" and to not jeopardize their own positions by obligating themselves to further investigate the issues if their first round of discovery proves what Dr. Taitz, myself and others already know to be true.

In my opinion, the USSC and others who have been asked to engage themselves and their resources in this historical investigation fear they may become directly involved in the biggest case of political fraud the United States has ever seen of which could prove costly to them and their careers. On the other hand, they could become heroes for upholding the integrity of the Constitution and the United States.

The following front page of "The Globe" was sent to me today from a close friend and fellow/lady conservative in Germany. She, as well as many of my friends, family and associates have followed your admirably tenacious and bird-dog-like efforts in nailing this squatter who has homesteaded himself and his tight-lipped family in the White House and armed himself with his team of attorneys whom, themselves, MUST know the truth about their employer but fail to act on America's behalf. Obama's lawyers continue to fail America's Constitution and what it stands-for.

Once in awhile the "Globe", "National Inquirer" and a few of the gossip rags get the story right and and develop the gonads to publish the scoop first ("publish" being the key word). Now We Know Who Was Right about Obama

Now we know. After three years in office and the launching of his second election campaign, we have experienced President Obama's leadership. We can see whom we elected president -- the mystery man of 2008 revealed.

Democrats were in ecstasy over the great healer, the multiracial candidate who would bring together red states and blue states, black and white, coasts and flyover country. Republicans saw the man with the most leftist, least bipartisan voting record in Congress being installed in the White House. We now know who was right.

Democrat professionals Pat Caddell and Doug Schoen this July pleaded with Obama in a Wall Street Journal column, "Our Divisive President," not to run for a second term. They describe his leadership as toxically divisive to our country. According to Gallup, Obama's approval gap after one year was the most polarized in history, with an average approval of 88% among his own party and 23% among Republicans.

Obama's disdain and hostility to opponents has been quite visible. He dissed the Supreme Court to their faces, dismissed Congressman Ryan's efforts to work together on the deficit with a "you lost, we won" crack, and told Republicans to shut up and go to the back of the bus. He rammed through the biggest changes to health care in history by chicanery, to avoid having to make compromises with Republicans through the normal conference process. He ignored the recommendations of his own bipartisan commission on controlling debt and deficit. His favorite activity (next to golf) is class warfare. Obama is indeed the great divider, and the country shows it.

What else do we know? To the surprise of many, we now know that Obama does not pay attention to the black community -- he doesn't visit them, talk to them, encourage them, propose policies to benefit them. He hasn't helped this suffering community, and when he does go to speechify, this is what he says:

Take off your bedroom slippers. Put on your marching shoes. Stop complainin'. Stop grumblin'. Stop cryin'. We are going to press on. We have work to do.

What work is Obama referring to -- jobs for the black community? No, the work is the re-election work he feels blacks owe him!

Look at black teenagers' 40% unemployment rate. Our president's "stimulus" package was not targeted to create private-sector jobs for them or anyone else. Eighty percent of the almost trillion dollars went to teachers' unions, Obama's re-election army, the very teachers who are failing those black teenagers so spectacularly.

In the words of Congressional Black Caucus leader Maxine Waters, "We're supportive of the president, but we're getting tired. We're getting tired. The unemployment is unconscionable. We don't know what the strategy is. We don't know why on this trip that he's in the United States now, he's not in any black community." Actions speak louder than words. The black community is right to feel abandoned.

What else do we know about our president? We now know that the elites were half-right: Obama is an intellectual. He surrounds himself with Ivy League economic advisors and follows their formulaic prescriptions. He believes them despite the evidence of his own eyes. He was told that there exists a "multiplier effect" by which $1 in government spending on anything -- government salaries, a bankrupt solar power company, aid to the states for Medicare or food stamps -- automatically creates $2 worth of jobs. Instead of creating jobs, the Democrat stimulus policy set our recession in stone, made unemployment skyrocket, and has pushed federal government spending to a crippling quarter of our GDP. Obama the intellectual is still a believer, still wants to spend more. He believes in the Ivy League elite's brilliance, not common sense.

On intelligence, sadly, the Democrats were completely wrong. Democrats swooned over Obama's suave self-presentation. They constantly cited his position as editor at the Harvard Law Review as an impressive qualification to be president of the United States. (Strange, but true.) Republicans who did their homework knew that Obama was not the first black, but only the first affirmative action Harvard Law Review editor. He did make history at the Law Review: he was the only editor never to write an article for the Review. Indeed, Obama has never written a law article on anything. Despite being given a job as lecturer on constitutional law at the University of Chicago, he is unpublished.

Journalists proclaimed him the most intelligent man to ever hold the White House. What does this great brain do with his free time? According to the New York Times, his favorite activities are playing Taboo, Wii video games, and basketball. It seems that the Republicans were right who wondered about a mediocre high school student who smoked dope and drifted through his early college years at Occidental and was an "unspectacular" student at Columbia. As Donald Trump asked, "I heard he was a terrible student, terrible. How does a bad student go to Columbia and then to Harvard?" Percy Sutton, former borough president of Manhattan, in a TV interview, gives one possible answer: Islamic supremacist Dr. Khalid al-Mansour, an advisor to a wealthy Saudi, paid for Barack Obama to go to Harvard Law School.

We now see the lazy student, the charmer in the White House, busy at what he likes best: golf, basketball, vacations, parties, speeches, and raising money. He has not been the policy wonk Democrats dreamed of, President Clinton redux. Obama doesn't do hard work. He farmed out his health reform to Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, showing no interest or capability in formulating the details of the policy or even working the politics to get it through Congress. He famously didn't lift the phone to call Capitol Hill and get his signature policy passed. Obama's only contribution was nonstop speeches, which failed to win over the country. He doesn't seem interested in or capable of formulating an intelligent economic policy or foreign policy. He doesn't care enough to even try.

Progressives saw Obama as worthy of a Nobel Peace Prize, before even taking office. Republicans warned that Obama was a psychologically troubled man who deified his anti-colonial father, resented American power abroad, and had a troubling history of pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel relationships (think Reverend Wright and Rashid Khalidi), never outgrowing an adolescent idolization of Castro and Che Guevara.

Tragically, once again, the Republicans were right. We now can see that Obama doesn't understand what it takes to support stability in the Middle East. He and Hillary Clinton have overturned the hard work of decades that created a neutral Egypt, key to the forty-year hiatus since the last Arab war against Israel. He's furthered Iran's nuclear ambitions, thrown all the gains made in stabilizing Iraq down the drain, and even managed to turn Libya over to the jihadis, losing track of Gaddafi's weapons caches on the way. Obama cares about happy headlines about the Facebook Revolution and the "Arab Spring," not about the hard work of supporting our allies and defeating our enemies. He and the State Department do not care about the spread of the Nazi Muslim Brotherhood, Hitler's living legacy.

To everyone's surprise, Obama doesn't care about some very important hot-button liberal issues, such as closing Guantánamo or protecting the rights of terrorists. Unlike the typical liberal, he's happy to use drones to kill individuals, even American citizens, without trial. It's more important to our president to avoid Guantánamo interrogations because the headlines would cause him electoral headaches. (He doesn't care about national security all that much, or he'd make sure we got those interrogations.) He's "still working" on his position on gay marriage.

We now know that Obama doesn't care about seniors. He took $500 billion out of Medicare to redistribute via ObamaCare to the uninsured. His payroll tax holiday is gutting our Social Security fund; he used that "solution" rather than working on bipartisan reforms to keep the next generation of seniors safe. Obama cares a great deal about scaring seniors to get them to vote Democrat. He does not care about fixing the safety net's serious problems.

Our law professor president doesn't care about rule of law. He and his attorney general and his Cabinet prefer government by fiat and by exemption -- the government of favoritism, not equality before the law. This is very important issue not written about enough. George Marlin's comments on the ballot box apply equally well to laws already passed:

If you look at the extreme left elites, they really don't have much use for democracy anymore because they're afraid people will not vote their way. So they bite away at the democratic process by imposing upon us a managerial state where agencies and bureaucracies basically rule things by going around the ballot box.
The most dangerous thing the Obama administration is doing is filling up government agencies all over the United States with like-minded people who will be running the administrative state. What Obama cannot get done through the Congress, through a democratically elected Congress, he's trying to do administratively.

We now know that our charming president has a narcissism problem. Like all narcissists, he likes people's adulation, but actual people, not so much. His most avid supporters complain that he is a cold fish. He is an empty suit, the famous narcissistic false self, in the words of one Democrat, a "Where's Waldo" president, or in the words of another, "Members of Obama's own party ... wonder who he really is." He takes criticism badly, has little empathy for others, and suffers from envy. In fact, envy is his one great leadership ambition. He wants the whole country to operate on envy instead of hard work.

A pathological narcissist, Obama has no capacity to learn, because he cannot admit mistakes. This grandiouse self-evaluation, from a December 2011 60 Minutes interview, is typical of the man:

I would put our legislative and foreign policy accomplishments in our first two years against any president -- with the possible exceptions of Johnson, FDR, and Lincoln -- just in terms of what we've gotten done in modern history.

Which brings us to the persistent question of who Obama really is. He is not a traditional liberal, not a great help to the black community, not interested in protecting seniors or safeguarding our safety net. He doesn't care about jobs, or he'd change from a failing policy. He doesn't care about working-class Americans, or he wouldn't kill oil and gas development, a one-two gut-punch which jacks up gas prices -- meaning the price of everything -- and kills jobs. He doesn't care about rule of law or clean government, but he does care about all the power he can grab.

The only constituencies he has worked for are government unions and the greens, his radical base. The two policies he focused on were ObamaCare and cap and trade -- two policies that promise to destroy American prosperity and power, permanently. He does not act like a normal liberal politician, such as Clinton, who backed off from the unpopularity of attacking our health care system. A normal politician would have made economic recovery a priority. Obama did not.

Conservative Republicans believe that Obama stands not for a failed presidency as much as for a malevolent one. He is unknown even to his own party, because he is hiding his true goals and values. He does not act like a typical liberal, because he is actually a radical. He's not interested in crafting good laws and policies or working with the opposition, because his goal is destruction. He is following the exact prescription of "the late American socialist Michael Harrington's 'socialist realignment strategy' -- deliberately dividing Americans by class 'with Republicans marked out as the aggressors,' forcing the 'have-nots' to act as a unified, pro-socialist - and electorally dominant - force."

Stanley Kurtz describes how Obama found his vocation as a community organizer at the 1983 Socialists Conference.

The socialist conferences Obama attended were filled with talk of community organizing as the key to socialist strategy. Every socialist faction at those conferences was entranced with the idea that African-American political leaders could emerge out of socialist-run community organizations and move the country to the left.

In 2008, Americans didn't know what a community organizer was, and most still don't -- they think of it as something like a social worker, an aura of compassion for the poor. They don't know that community organizing is the modern spearhead and training ground for the present-day American radicals' dream of destroying capitalism.

Obama has been implementing the teachings of America's leading socialists. One of their proposed strategies was to use ACORN pressure tactics on the banks, by false accusations of racism in their lending practices, to force a mortgage/finacial crisis that would ultimately bring down capitalism.

Peter Dreier, one of the speakers Obama heard at the Socialist conference, worked for Obama in 2008 as a campaign advisor. Dreir proposed to bring down American capitalism from below by swamping governments with entitlement programs. Dreier claimed that "the process leads to expansion of state activity and budgets, and ... to fiscal crisis in the public sector. In the longer run, it may give socialist norms an opportunity for expansion[.]"

In the words of the Wall Street Journal's New Year's Eve editorial in 2011:

For today's left, the main goal of politics is not to respond to public opinion. The goal is to impose the dream of an egalitarian entitlement state whether the public likes it or not[.]

The dream of an egalitarian state -- we now know that we did elect a socialist for president.

An Open Letter From Internet Engineers to the U.S. Congress

Today, a group of 83 prominent Internet inventors and engineers sent an open letter to members of the United States Congress, stating their opposition to the SOPA and PIPA Internet blacklist bills that are under consideration in the House and Senate respectively.

We, the undersigned, have played various parts in building a network called the Internet. We wrote and debugged the software; we defined the standards and protocols that talk over that network. Many of us invented parts of it. We're just a little proud of the social and economic benefits that our project, the Internet, has brought with it.
Last year, many of us wrote to you and your colleagues to warn about the proposed "COICA" copyright and censorship legislation. Today, we are writing again to reiterate our concerns about the SOPA and PIPA derivatives of last year's bill, that are under consideration in the House and Senate. In many respects, these proposals are worse than the one we were alarmed to read last year.
If enacted, either of these bills will create an environment of tremendous fear and uncertainty for technological innovation, and seriously harm the credibility of the United States in its role as a steward of key Internet infrastructure. Regardless of recent amendments to SOPA, both bills will risk fragmenting the Internet's global domain name system (DNS) and have other capricious technical consequences. In exchange for this, such legislation would engender censorship that will simultaneously be circumvented by deliberate infringers while hampering innocent parties' right and ability to communicate and express themselves online.
All censorship schemes impact speech beyond the category they were intended to restrict, but these bills are particularly egregious in that regard because they cause entire domains to vanish from the Web, not just infringing pages or files. Worse, an incredible range of useful, law-abiding sites can be blacklisted under these proposals. In fact, it seems that this has already begun to happen under the nascent DHS/ICE seizures program.
Censorship of Internet infrastructure will inevitably cause network errors and security problems. This is true in China, Iran and other countries that censor the network today; it will be just as true of American censorship. It is also true regardless of whether censorship is implemented via the DNS, proxies, firewalls, or any other method. Types of network errors and insecurity that we wrestle with today will become more widespread, and will affect sites other than those blacklisted by the American government.
The current bills -- SOPA explicitly and PIPA implicitly -- also threaten engineers who build Internet systems or offer services that are not readily and automatically compliant with censorship actions by the U.S. government. When we designed the Internet the first time, our priorities were reliability, robustness and minimizing central points of failure or control. We are alarmed that Congress is so close to mandating censorship-compliance as a design requirement for new Internet innovations. This can only damage the security of the network, and give authoritarian governments more power over what their citizens can read and publish.
The US government has regularly claimed that it supports a free and open Internet, both domestically and abroad. We cannot have a free and open Internet unless its naming and routing systems sit above the political concerns and objectives of any one government or industry. To date, the leading role the US has played in this infrastructure has been fairly uncontroversial because America is seen as a trustworthy arbiter and a neutral bastion of free expression. If the US begins to use its central position in the network for censorship that advances its political and economic agenda, the consequences will be far-reaching and destructive.
Senators, Congressmen, we believe the Internet is too important and too valuable to be endangered in this way, and implore you to put these bills aside.

Under Increased Pressure Pastor Youcef Refuses to Recant Faith in Christ

Iran is continuing its relentless attempt to force persecuted Christian Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani to recant his faith in Jesus Christ. New reports state that Iranian officials are still pressuring the pastor, who has been sentenced to death for his Christian faith, “to renounce his faith in Christ and accept the prophet Muhammad as his savior.”
Pastor Youcef, has once again refused, remaining steadfast in his faith. Remember, Iran previously demanded on at least three separate occasions that Pastor Youcef recant his faith and convert to Islam at his latest trial, to which he replied “I cannot.”
The Iranian court tasked with making a final determination about Pastor Youcef’s fate has ignored its own promise to make its determination over a month ago. Iran’s move to further delay a determination regarding Pastor Youcef not only violates international law; it violates Iranian law as well.
What is even worse than the delay, is that the Iranian government seems to be continuing to manipulate and coerce Pastor Youcef to convert to Islam.
We first told you several months ago that Iran’s Secret Security had visited Pastor Youcef in prison, without the presence of his Iranian attorney, and ordered him to “read and reflect” on Islamic propaganda. This is a direct and blatant violation of Iran’s own constitution, which provides that the “investigation of individuals’ beliefs is forbidden, and no one may be molested or taken to task simply for holding a certain belief.”
As Tiffany Barrans, International Legal Director for the ACLJ, has stated, “Rather than uphold its legal obligations under the rule of law, which requires it free Pastor Youcef and allow him to peacefully practice Christianity, Iran yet again obliterates any credibility it might have held with the international community.”
Iran’s increased pressure on Pastor Youcef can be directly attributed to increased pressure from the international community. As more and more people around the world have learned about Pastor Youcef’s plight and Iran’s abuses, Iran is feeling the pressure. The Iranian regime is clearly reacting. If it can convince Pastor Youcef to convert to Islam, the story goes away, and its human rights abuses would no longer be in the spotlight.

I suppose it's not a big deal but if a student was taking a history exam and was asked the question, "When did sugar rationing begin in World War II?" and got the answer by studying this document the answer would be wrong. With the onset of World War II, numerous challenges confronted the American people. The government found it necessary to ration food, gas, and even clothing during that time. Americans were asked to conserve on everything. With not a single person unaffected by the war, rationing meant sacrifices for all.
In the spring of 1942, the Food Rationing Program was set into motion. Rationing would deeply affect the American way of life for most. The federal government needed to control supply and demand. Rationing was introduced to avoid public anger with shortages and not to allow only the wealthy to purchase commodities.
While industry and commerce were affected, individuals felt the effects more intensely. People were often required to give up many material goods, but there also was an increase in employment. Individual efforts evolved into clubs and organizations coming to terms with the immediate circumstances. Joining together to support and maintain supply levels for the troops abroad meant making daily adjustments. Their efforts also included scrap drives, taking factory jobs, goods donations and other similar projects to assist those on the front.
Government-sponsored ads, radio shows, posters and pamphlet campaigns urged the American people to comply. With a sense of urgency, the campaigns appealed to America to contribute by whatever means they had, without complaint. The propaganda was a highly effective tool in reaching the masses.
Rationing regulated the amount of commodities that consumers could obtain. Sugar rationing took effect in May 1943 with the distribution of "Sugar Buying Cards." Registration usually took place in local schools. Each family was asked to send only one member for registration and be prepared to describe all other family members. Coupons were distributed based on family size, and the coupon book allowed the holder to buy a specified amount. Possession of a coupon book did not guarantee that sugar would be available. Random Thoughts
As I’ve reiterated so many times that Barack Obama is controlling the Republican nomination for President of the United States and supposedly with his anticipated billion dollar slush fund he appears to be successful for none of the candidates have campaigned with due diligence in the matters that really matter. No one is running on the real return of the Constitution. Whereas the complacency with regard to Obama’s outright violations of the document that he swore to obey, no candidate has really pushed for impeachment.
Case in point (and there are more): Obama’s recent signing into law the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau which will be funded by the Federal Reserve is a clear violation of article 1, section 7 of the United States Constitution, “All bills for raising revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives.” Where is John Boehner on this one? Immediate impeachment should have been his top priority and all presidential candidates should be harping about it daily…if not hourly (the same could be said for all our representatives in Congress)!

What makes matters worse in this illegal funding scheme is that it’s coming from a private agency. The Federal Reserve is neither federal nor a reserve! It’s a private consortium of banks controlled by the world’s richest people. Apparently the members of Congress (both the House of Representatives and the United States Senate) will be joining this group for none of them have the intestinal fortitude to bring down the usurper-in-chief. So much for a government of we the people, for the people, and by the people…looks like we now have a government for the politic elite, by the politic elite and we the people be damned!

Getting back to my opening statement about Obama controlling the selection of the republican candidate, I was listening to a reporter interview a voter and the voter enthusiastically stated that he was voting for such and such candidate in the republican primary but in the end he would vote for Obama. How many of these people are out there that a piece of one billion dollars might have some influence? ~ Norman E. Hooben

quite promising and our Party’s cause will be carried on. In answering thequestion, “Will you shoot at women, children and prisoners of war,” more
than 80 per cent of the respondents answered in the affirmative, exceeding by far our expectations.

Today I’d like to focus on why we asked sina.com to conduct this online
survey among our people. My speech today is a sequel to my speech last time, during which I started with a discussion of the issue of the three islands
[Taiwan, Diaoyu Islands and the Spratley Islands --- Ott] and mentioned
that 20 years of the idyllic theme of ‘peace and development’ had come to
an end, and concluded that modernization under the saber is the only option for China’s next phase.

The fact is, our ‘development’ refers to the great revitalization of the Chinese nation, which, of course, is not limited to the land we have now but also includes the whole world. As everybody knows, according to the views propagated by the Western scholars, humanity as a whole originated from one single mother in Africa. Therefore no race can claim racial superiority.

However, according to the research conducted by most Chinese scholars, the Chinese are different from other races on earth. We did not originate in Africa. Instead, we originated independently in the land of China. Therefore, we can rightfully assert that we are the product of cultural roots of more than a million years, civilization and progress of more than ten thousand years, an ancient nation of five thousand years,and a single Chinese entity of two thousand years.

This is the Chinese nation that calls itself ‘descendants of Yan and Huang.’
During our long history, our people have disseminated throughout the Americas and the regions along the Pacific Rim, and they became Indians in the Americas and the East Asian ethnic groups in the South Pacific. We all know that on account of our national superiority, during the thriving and prosperous Tang Dynasty our civilization was at the peak of the world. We were the centre of the world civilization, and no other civilization in the world was comparable to ours.

Later on, because of our complacency,narrow-mindedness, and the self-enclosure of our own country, we were surpassed by Western civilization, and the centre of the world shifted to the West.In reviewing history, one may ask: Will the centre of the world civilization shift back to China?

Actually, Comrade Liu Huaqing made similar points in early 1980’s Based on an historical analysis, he pointed out that the centre of world civilization is shifting. It shifted from the East to Western Europe and later to the United States; now it is shifting back to the East. Therefore, if we refer to the 19th Century as the British Century and the 20th century as the American Century, then the 21st Century will be the Chinese Century!! Our Chinese people are wiser than the Germans because,fundamentally, our race is superior to theirs. As a result, we have a longer history, more people, and larger land area. On this basis, our ancestors left us with the two most essential heritages, which are atheism and great unity. It was Confucius, the founder of our Chinese culture, who gave us these heritages. These two heritages determined that we have a stronger ability to survive than the West. That is why the Chinese race has been able to prosper for so long. We are destined ‘not to be buried by either heaven or earth’ no matter how severe the natural, man-made, and national disasters. This is our advantage.

Take response to war as an example.The reason that the United States remains today is that it has never seen war on its mainland. Once its enemies aim at the mainland, the enemies would have already reached Washington before its congress finishes debating and authorizes the president to declare war. But for us, we don’t waste time on these trivial things. Maybe you have now come to understand why we recently decided to further promulgate atheism. If we let theology from the West into China and empty us from the inside, if we let all Chinese people listen to God and follow God, who will obediently listen to us and follow us?

If the common people don’t believe Comrade Hu Jintao is a qualified leader, begin to question his authority, and want to monitor him, if the religious followers in our society question why we are leading God in churches, can our Party continue to rule China??

The first pressing issue facing us is living space. This is the biggest focus of the revitalization of the Chinese race. In my last speech, I said that the fight over basic living resources (including land and ocean) is the source of the vast majority of wars in history. This may change in the information age, but not fundamentally. Our per capita resources are much less than those of Germany’s back then.

In addition, economic development in the last twenty-plus years had a negative impact, and climates are rapidly changing for the worse. Our resources are in very short supply. The environment is severely polluted, especially that of soil,water, and air. Not only our ability to sustain and develop our race, but even its survival is gravely threatened, to a degree much greater than faced Germany back then.

Anybody who has been to Western countries knows that their living space is much better than ours. They have forests alongside the highways,while we hardly have any trees by our streets. Their sky is often blue with white clouds, while our sky is covered with a layer of dark haze. Their tap water is clean enough for drinking, while even our ground water is so polluted that it can’t be drunk without filtering. They have few people in the streets, and two or three people can occupy a small residential building; in contrast our streets are always crawling with people, and several people have to share one room.

Many years ago, there was a book titled Yellow Catastrophes. It said that, due to our following the American style of consumption, our limited resources would no longer support the population and society would collapse once our population reaches 1.3 billion. Now our population has already exceeded this limit, and we are now relying on imports to sustain our nation. It’s not that we haven’t paid
attention to this issue. The Ministry of Land Resources is specialized in this issue.
But we must understand that the term ‘living space’ (lebenstraum) is tooclosely related to Nazi Germany.

The reason we don’t want to discuss this too openly is to avoid the West’s association of us with Nazi Germany,which could in turn reinforce the view that China is a threat. Therefore, in our emphasis on He Xin’s new theory, ‘Human Rights are just living rights’ we only talk about ‘living’ but not ‘space’ so as to avoid using the term ‘living space.’ From the perspective of history, the reason that China is faced with the issue of living space is because Western countries have developed ahead of Eastern countries. Western countries established colonies all around the world, therefore giving themselves an advantage on the issue of living space.

To solve this problem, we must lead the Chinese people outside of China, so that they can develop outside of China.Would the United States allow us to go out to gain new living space? First, if the United States is firm in blocking us, it is hard for us to do anything significant to Taiwan and some other countries! Second, even if we could snatch some land from Taiwan, Vietnam, India, or even Japan,how much more living space can we get? Very trivial! Only countries like the United States, Canada and Australia have the vast land to serve our need for mass colonization. Therefore, solving the ‘issue of America’ is the key to solving all other issues.

First, this makes it possible for us to have many people migrate there and even establish another China under the same leadership of the CCP. America was originally discovered by the ancestors of the yellow race, but Columbus gave credit to the White race. We the descendants of the Chinese nation are ENTITLED to the possession of the land!!!

It is historical destiny that China and United States will come into unavoidable confrontation on a narrow path and fight. In the long run, the relationship of China and the United States is one of a life-and-death struggle. Of course, right now it is not the time to openly break up with them yet. Our reform and opening to the outside world still rely on their capital and technology. We still need America. Therefore, we must do everything we can to promote our relationship with America, learn from America in all aspects and use America as an example to reconstruct our country.

Only by using special means to ‘clean up’ America will we be able to lead the Chinese people there. Only by using non-destructive weapons that can kill many people will we be able to reserve America for ourselves.There has been rapid development of modern biological technology, and new bio weapons have been invented one after another. Of course we have not been idle; in the past years we have seized the opportunity to master weapons of this kind. We are capable of achieving our purpose of ‘cleaning up’ America all of a sudden.

When Comrade Xiaoping was still with us, the Party Central Committee had the perspicacity to make the right decision not to develop aircraft carrier groups and focused instead on developing lethal weapons that can eliminate mass populations of the enemy country. Biological weapons are unprecedented in their ruthlessness, but if the Americans do not die then the Chinese have to die. If the Chinese people are strapped to the present land, a total societal collapse is bound to take place.

According to the computations of the author of Yellow Peril, more than half of the Chinese will die, and that figure would be more than 800 million people! Just after the liberation, our yellow land supported nearly 500 million people, while today the official figure of the population is more than 1.3 billion. This yellow land has reached the limit of its capacity. One day, who know how soon it will come, the great collapse will occur any time and more than half of the population will have to go.

It is indeed brutal to kill one or two hundred million Americans. But that is the only path that will secure a Chinese century, a century in which the CCP leads the world. We, as revolutionary humanitarians, do not want deaths, But if history confronts us with a choice between deaths of Chinese and those of Americans, we’d have to pick the latter, as, for us, it is more important to safeguard the lives of the Chinese people and the life of our Party.

The last problem I want to talk about is of firmly seizing the preparations for military battle. The central committee believes, as long as we resolve the United States problem at one blow, our domestic problems will all be readily solved.

Therefore, our military battle preparation appears to aim at Taiwan, but in fact is aimed at the United States, and the preparation is far beyond the scope of attacking aircraft carriers or satellites.

FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION ON GEN CHI HAOTIAN- WHO SEES CHINA'S SLAVE EMPIRE BEING THE FIRST IN HISTORY TO GO GLOBAL

No ancient empire became physically global — the outside world was too distant and vague owing to the lack of later-day communications. Nor were slave empires rarities. Even in the first half of the 19th century, Russia was an empire with “serfdom” — slavery-dominated agriculture, and most inhabitants of cities were also slaves, except that they did not have private owners, for whom they would be obliged to work without pay.

Today the entire world is observable from China, and that world might become part of the Chinese slave empire. Thus, such an empire would become global for the first time in history.

The event was so much delayed in global history because in free or freer countries there developed science and engineering — and hence the most advanced weapons. On the other hand, in the first half of the 20th century, China was “backward,” and hence it could well be grateful that it would not be conquered by Japan, for example, since the United States, at war with Japan after the latter’s Pearl Harbor attack, dropped on Japan two nuclear bombs.

During the June 4, 1989, massacre of unarmed Tiananmen seekers of freedom, Chi was the Chief of Staff of the People’s Liberation Army and supervised the massacre. Yet President Clinton received him in Washington, with a 19-gun salute in his honor.

Until 2003, Chi Haotian was the Minister of Chinese National Defense. He is now 80 years of age, and in 2005 he was Vice Chairman of China Military Commission.

On 6/24/2009, the Yahoo! readers could read Chi’s speech of December 2005, under the heading “Speech by Comrade Chi Haotian, Vice-Chairman of China’s Military Commission.” The speech was delivered to the audience of top officers and generals of the People’s Republic of China.

Chi said that he was “very excited today” because in answering, “in the large-scale survey,” the “question ‘Will you shoot at women, children, and prisoners of war’ [in the U.S.A. and other enemy countries], more than 80 percent of the respondents answered in the affirmative.”

If China’s global development will necessitate massive deaths in enemy countries, will our people endorse that scenario? Will they be for or against it? The fact is, our ‘development’ refers to the great revitalization of the Chinese nation, which of course, is not limited to the land we have now, but also includes the whole world.
Chi does not consider German Nazism evil. He considers the Germans insufficiently superior as a race and hence a failure. “Our Chinese people are wiser than the Germans because, fundamentally, our race is superior to theirs.”

Yet Chi advises to avoid the use of the German word Lebensraum “too openly” in order to “avoid the West’s association of us with Nazi Germany, which could in turn reinforce the view that China is a threat.” Chi prefers to use Britain and the U.S.A. as negative examples (and not to praise Nazi Germany):

. . . if we refer to the 19th century as the British Century and to the 20th century as the American Century, then the 21st Century will be the Chinese Century! (Wild applause fills the auditorium.)
How to deal with America?

America was first discovered by the ancestors of the yellow race, but Columbus gave credit to the White race. We the descendants of the Chinese nation are ENTITLED to the possession of that land!
However: “Only by using special means to ‘clean up’ America will we be able to lead the Chinese people there.”

Fortunately for the owners of China, these “special means” are known as biological weapons, and Chi devotes a long paragraph to describe for how long biological weapons have been developed in the People’s Republic of China.

In conclusion, Chi presents his usual excuse. “It is indeed brutal to kill one hundred or two hundred million Americans. But this is the only path that will secure a Chinese century, a century in which the CCP [Chinese Communist Party] leads the world.”

Now, what is the purpose of making this official top-level speech known to the West? Traditionally, attackers make their war as unexpected as possible. Here the Minister of National Defense of China up to 2003 and then, in 2005 the Vice-Chairman of China’s Military Commission explains to Chinese generals and officers (and to the world, including the U.S.A.) how China will kill by biological weapons one-third or two-thirds (or three-thirds?) of the population of the U.S.A. in order for the Chinese to settle in “clean America,” that is, America minus one-third or two-thirds (or all?) of its population. Mass robbery via mass murder.

It seems to the rulers of China that China’s strategy should not be concealed but, on the contrary, should scare a potential victim. The United States has freedom, not slavery. The result of slavery in China is the conversion of population into slave soldiers ready to die if necessary when fighting an enemy. The result of freedom, according to Chinese like Chi, is the free search of the free population for its private happiness and first of all safety. Therefore, the free countries should be terrorized to make them surrender, which Chi has been doing for years.

At the same time, Chi declares the Chinese to be the superior race and promises to them the property of the Americans and other inferior races to be murdered by Chinese biological weapons and make the People’s Republic of China a truly global empire for the first time in the history of our planet. Georgia Court Ruled Against Obama
Breaking CCA News! This morning the Georgia Court of Administrative Hearings denied Obama’s motion to dismiss our ballot challenge. More importantly, the court’s opinion ruled in our favor on all procedural and state law issues, leaving only one thing left to decide: Whether Obama is a natural-born-citizen under the Constitution.
Remember that no court has ever addressed this issue! As you know our argument is very simple. We argue that the Supreme Court has defined “natural-born-citizen” as a person with two U.S. citizen parents, and Obama admits that his father was never a U.S. citizen.
Others have raised many legal theories and asserted numerous facts regarding Obama’s past, his identity, his parentage, and his qualifications to hold office. None of those others have EVER succeeded in having a single court address the substantive issues they raised. Every one of those cases have been dismissed on procedural grounds without considering the substantive arguments at issue. Liberty Legal Foundation will now be the first to appear before a court that has affirmatively stated that it will decide the Constitutional question.
The hearing is set for 9AM on January 26th in Atlanta, Georgia.
As you know, we have similar cases filed in Tennessee state court and Federal court in Arizona. Hopefully the Georgia court will set the groundwork for victories across the country. If any court rules that Obama is not Constitutionally qualified to hold the office of President, it will be a major victory and should make international news. There's something profoundly tragic about the failed presidency of Barack Obama. He was supposed to be a new kind of president, a man who embodied hope and would transcend petty politics and even race. Instead, we're left with a downgraded America that is stagnating under the weight of its bloated government. As tragic as that alone is, even this is but a mere symptom of Mr. Obama's larger fundamental failure: He simply does not trust the Americans who entrusted him with the presidency.

Most presidents, we believe, ascend to the Oval Office, but for the 44th president, the reverse seems true. Whatever majesty the White House can muster must rise to the grandiosity of Barack Obama. "We are the ones we have been waiting for," said the man who writes autobiographies and later would claim to control the rise of the oceans.
As recently as this month, the food-stamp president of 13 million unemployed Americans declared himself the fourth-most-accomplished president in the history of the United States, eclipsing, in his own mind, President Reagan and even our nation's father, George Washington. That in only three years. Barack the Magnificent won't allow trivialities like $15 trillion debts or historic national credit downgrades dissuade him.
Mr. Obama may care deeply for America, but he believes in only one thing: Barack Obama. And you are not Barack Obama.
Where once the American flag was hailed universally as the ultimate symbol of freedom, we who live under it have slowly but surely surrendered our liberties to an insatiable government. Consider our decline in just the past two generations. Our grandfathers, who stood against evil and shed their blood to stop it, never would have tolerated their own government becoming so totalitarian that it would dictate to them what car they should drive, what (if any) health insurance they should choose or even what light bulb they should buy.
Has our generation been worthy of earlier Americans' sacrifices? Or have we surrendered their hard-fought victories in return for false promises of a big-government utopia that never materializes? Look no further than the politicians we elect. We have chosen as our president a man who believes we are unworthy, not of the previous generations' sacrifices, but rather unworthy of freedom itself.
The sum total of Mr. Obama's political philosophy, the unifying theme of his presidency, amounts to this: You cannot be trusted to live as a free American.
President Obama's first major legislative action, the failed $787 stimulus, revealed his fundamental distrust of free Americans. A president who actually trusts his people would stand aside as they freely chose how to invest their capital and their labor. Mr. Obama, on the other hand, simply doesn't believe you are smart enough to know what's best for you. He commandeered nearly $1 trillion dollars from the taxpayers and redirected it as he saw fit. That he squandered billions on crony boondoggles such as the Solyndra solar-panel company or laughable efforts to measure the malt-liquor habits of Buffalonians and the like is evidence merely of his incompetence. That he trusted only himself to allocate taxpayers' money in the first place - even if he had had the capacity to do so brilliantly - is evidence of a much larger offense: This president distrusts his subjects.
Obamacare is a modern-day monument to government arrogance. So untrustworthy are Americans that they cannot be allowed to decide for themselves whether to purchase health insurance or, if so, how much. Likewise, physicians are too untrustworthy to provide you with care without first consulting the government's "best practices" guidelines. Obamacare would solve both.
Untrustworthy bankers would become angelic under the restrictions of Dodd-Frank. Untrustworthy bloggers would fall in line under the Stop Online Piracy Act. Untrustworthy manufacturers would create the only jobs worth having under the dictates of the National Labor Relations Board. And untrustworthy energy consumers would act responsibly only under the restrictions of "cap and trade" or at least a dictatorial Environmental Protection Agency.
For statists like Mr. Obama, no matter how bloated our government has become, America is forever just one legislative act away from utopia, if only those untrustworthy Americans would just get in line. The man who ran on hope has instead embraced a tragic pessimism that views all free Americans with disdain as either incompetent rubes in need of his salvation or unrighteous villains in need of his rules. Either way, Mr. Obama embraces a command-and-control government and rejects American freedom.
Mr. Obama's distrust of Americans is his fatal flaw, and Republicans would be wise to exploit it fully. The GOP should resist the temptation simply to become a cleverer version of autocrats who pull the same powerful levers of government but in different directions. Instead, they should become the party that embraces liberty.
If the 2012 election is between Republicans and Democrats or even between conservatives and liberals, Republicans might win. But if the election is instead between a bloated, ineffectual government that distrusts its subjects and Americans who still yearn to breathe free, Republicans will win. Only then will voters have a dramatic choice between a party that trusts Americans to be free and a party that does not.

Benazir Bhutto was a brave leader...smart and ahead of her time she was most likely the best thing that could have happened to Pakistan politically before she was murdered by the opposition. I'm sure we could list a number of her accomplishments but that's not the impetus of this post. She was, to the best of my knowledge, an honest person and wasn't acustomed to telling fairy tales. Maybe she didn't tell all of which she knew concerning the death of Osama bin Laden but she did identify his murderer...and it wasn't Barack Husein Obama! Raising Money for "Lady Al-Qaida"
The Investigative Project on Terrorism A Northeastern University Muslim chaplain, who also is a Roxbury, Mass. imam, hailed a terrorist convicted of attempting to murder Americans in Afghanistan as "brave," while painting the United States as an oppressive nation of infidels.
"They say that she took up a machine gun while they held her captive in the other room and was ready to attack her captives. What a brave woman she is," Abdullah Faaruuq said at a Dec. 8 fundraiser for Aafia Siddiqui.

Siddiqui, a Pakistani scientist also known as "Lady al-Qaida," is serving an 86-year prison sentence after being convicted of attempting to assault and murder American officers in Afghanistan. Prosecutors say she grabbed an Army officer's M-4 rifle and fired it at another officer and other members of a U.S. interview team at an Afghan police compound in July 2008. She was originally detained by Afghan officials who found in her possession notes about a "mass casualty attack" in the United States, along with a list of New York landmarks.

The fundraiser, "In Support of our Sister, Dr. Aafia Siddiqui," was held at the Islamic Center of Worcester. Speakers repeatedly cast her prosecution and conviction as unjust.

"What a brave woman she continues to be, and how much her bravery and her faith and her belief warrants our support at this time," said Faaruuq, an imam at Roxbury's Mosque for the Praising of Allah. "It is said that we're trying to raise $30,000 tonight. I would say it's better that we've raised your awareness and raised your ire, as your anger against a government who would level the charges that they have against this woman and they say she is guilty. I would say she's only guilty of defending herself."

In addition to lauding Siddiqui's "bravery," Faaruuq also condemned American soldiers, the very people who defend America, as "kafirs," meaning infidels.

"And if my mother was in the same place," he said, "she would have took (sic) her West Indian machete and cut her way through those kafirs."

He repeated an unsubstantiated claim that Siddiqui was abused while in custody. Muslims around the world are "cowering at the hand of the disbeliever," Faaruuq said, "and this one woman locked up deep down, possibly raped and abused, and they're saying that she was a terrorist, afraid of a 100-pound woman. And I say they call this the land of the free and the home of the brave. And I call it the land of the coward and the home of the slave."

The presiding judge who reviewed all the evidence saw things differently. U.S. District Judge Richard M. Berman said "significant incarceration" was called for because Siddiqui's acts were premeditated. In his sentencing, he also noted anti-American statements witnesses said were made by Siddiqui while firing on the soldiers, like "I want to kill Americans" and "Death to America."

It's not the first time Faaruuq has engaged in violent rhetoric while standing up for Siddiqui. Boston-based watchdog of radical Islamists Charles Jacobs wrote in October that Faaruuq sees cases like Siddiqui's as part of an effort to target Muslims in America. Muslims should "grab onto the gun and the sword, go out and do your job" in response, Faaruuq said.

Faaruuq also is advocating for Tarek Mehanna, on trial in Boston for conspiring to support terrorists and to kill Americans in a foreign country.

Also coming to Siddiqui's defense at the fundraiser was Imam Siraj Wahhaj of the Masjid Al-Taqwa mosque in Brooklyn, New York. Wahhaj has a history of defending convicted terrorists, listed as an unindicted co-conspirator and having served as a character witness for Omar Abdel-Rahman, the so-called "blind sheik," convicted of conspiring to bomb the World Trade Center in 1993.

While acknowledging that he knew little about Siddiqui's case, Wahhaj provided a long explanation of the American judicial system and highlighted its perceived flaws.

"How many people do you think are wrongfully convicted in the United States every year? About 10,000 people, 10,000."

After suggesting that Siddiqui might be one of the 10,000, he pledged $500 to her cause.

"But I will tell you this. I studied the case a little bit. I think that she innocent. And I think at least there is grounds, there's reasonable doubt. And by law, if there's reasonable doubt, you have to acquit."

The Muslim American Society also has supported Siddiqui, claiming her "conviction is seriously flawed and her kidnapping and detention is a grave violation of human rights and international law."

As Edwin Mora at CNS News reported on Wednesday, California Congresswoman Maxine Waters, after a Congressional Progressive Caucus-sponsored event at the Capitol, “when asked to comment … about the deaths and crimes that have occurred around Occupy protests being held across the country, … said ‘that’s life and it happens.’” What’s also happened, or actually not happened, is that the Associated Press and the New York Times have failed to note what Waters said, as shown in the following search results on her first name at AP and on her full name (not in quotes) at the Times:
Well, at least they’re consistent. Three months ago, the press on the whole almost totally ignored Waters’ comment at a Congressional Black Caucus event that “The Tea Party can go to hell.” That would be the civil, hygienic, clean-up-after-themselves Tea Party.

… “Let me just say this: Anytime you have a gathering, homeless people are going to show up,” said Waters. “They will find some comfort in having some other people out on the streets with them. They’re looking for food. Often times, the criminal element will invade. That’s life and it happens, whether it’s with protesters or other efforts that go on in this country.
“So I’m not deterred in my support for them because of these negative kinds of things,” said Waters. “I just want them to work at doing the best job that they can do to bring attention to this economic crisis and the unfairness of the system at this time.”
… At the Occupy L.A. site—in the city where Rep. Waters’ congressional district is located—five people have been charged with crimes, according to the Los Angeles Times. These include a man who allegedly exposed himself and masturbated in the presence of children.

My, Ms. Waters is mighty tolerant of the people involved with causes she supports. But at least we know she supports the Occupy movement. Given her comments, she really owns it.

Each December, I vowed to make Christmas a calm and peaceful experience.
I had cut back on nonessential obligations - extensive card writing,
endless baking, decorating, and even overspending.
Yet still, I found myself exhausted, unable to appreciate the
precious family moments, and of course, the true meaning of
Christmas.
My son, Nicholas, was in kindergarten that year. It was an exciting
season for a six year old.
For weeks, he'd been memorizing songs for his school's "Winter Pageant."
I didn't have the heart to tell him I'd be working the night of the production.

Unwilling to miss his shining moment, I spoke with his
teacher. She assured me there'd be a dress rehearsal the morning of the presentation.
All parents unable to attend that evening were welcome to come then.
Fortunately, Nicholas seemed happy with the compromise. So, the morning of the dress rehearsal, I filed in ten minutes early, found a spot on the cafeteria floor and sat down. Around the room, I saw several other parents quietly scampering to their seats.
As I waited, the students were led into the room. Each class, accompanied by their teacher, sat cross-legon the floor. Then, each group, one by one, rose to perform their song.
Because the public school system had long stopped referring to the holiday as "Christmas," I didn't expect anything other than fun, commercial entertainment songs of reindeer, Santa Claus, snowflakes and good cheer.
So, when my son's class rose to sing, "Christmas Love," I was slightly taken aback by its bold title.
Nicholas was aglow, as were all of his classmates, adorned in fuzzy mittens, red sweaters, and bright snowcaps upon their heads.
Those in the front row- center stage - held up large letters, one by one, to spell out the title of the song.
As the class would sing "C is for Christmas," a child would hold up the letter C. Then, "H is for Happy," and on and on, until each child holding up his portion had presented the complete message, "Christmas Love."
The performance was going smoothly, until suddenly, we noticed her; a small, quiet, girl in the front row holding the letter "M" upside down - totally unaware her letter "M" appeared as a "W".
The audience of 1st through 6th graders snickered at this little one's mistake. But she had no idea they were laughing at her, so she stood tall, proudly holding her "W".
Although many teachers tried to shush the children, the laughter continued until the last letter was raised, and we all saw it together.
A hush came over the audience and eyes began to widen.
In that instant, we understood the reason we were there, why we celebrated the holiday in the first place, why even in the chaos, there was a purpose for our festivities.
For when the last letter was held high, the message read loud and clear:

"C H R I S T W A S L O V E"

And, WE believe, He still is.

Amazed in His presence... .humbled by His love.
WE PRAY YOU AND YOUR FAMILY FEEL THE SPIRIT OF HIS LOVE.HAVE A BLESSED CHRISTMAS SEASON!

Lawman Richard Mack Tells Sheriffs: You Can Fight NWO at County Level

Sheriffs from all over America are being invited to gather on Jan. 30, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada, for what could be the most important meeting “since the Constitutional Convention of 1787,” according to Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA) founder Richard Mack.

AFP recently spoke with Mack by cell phone as he zigzagged by car across Florida as a guest speaker for various groups.

As Americans push back with their tea party and occupy movements, screaming at the corruption of big banks and Wall Street, they still have not realized the rudimentary solution right in their own backyards, says CSPOA.

Mack is the former sheriff of Graham County, Ariz. who took the federal government under President Bill Clinton to the Supreme Court in the 1990s in a “David vs. Goliath” struggle that he won. His efforts stopped the Brady Bill from forcing all county sheriffs to do federal paperwork and conduct background checks on gun buyers. Now he is taking another giant step to educate some 2,000 county sheriffs across the nation who have been so numbed with bureaucratic propaganda many don’t even remember the meaning of their oaths of office or the rulebook they swore to follow.

“Your local sheriff needs to know,” Mack told AFP, “that there is nothing that the UN or the New World Order boys or the feds want to shove down our otherwise healthy throats that we cannot stop at the county level with a constitutionally educated sheriff.”

The goal, according to Mack, is to get 10 percent of all the sheriffs, or about 200, from around the nation on board for a free education. He figures that when 200 of them begin to behave constitutionally by telling federal agents not to step beyond their county boundaries and taking positive action to prevent it, much of the remaining majority will wake up.

Here is CSPOA’s plan: raise $200,000 to bring 200 county sheriffs to the Nevada conference at an average cost of $1,000 each. This may not be as high a mountain to scale as it sounds because many citizens are so anxious for their sheriffs to attend, they already have taken it upon themselves to send them. This has greatly lightened CSPOA’s load.

We are told that security will be tight and no employees from any federal agency will be allowed inside the meeting room. Anyone not endorsed and accompanied by a visiting sheriff will be turned away. However, any private citizen who wishes to pay $1,000 may sit in, as the money will be used to fund the expenses of another out-of-state sheriff.

“We have collected nearly $50,000 and need only $100,000 more because of the commitment of various county citizens who strongly want their sheriff to be there and are willing to raise the money locally,” said Mack. “This is what we need a few more counties to do.”

Raising only $1,000 for the good of one’s county is far easier than Mack’s effort of trying to raise $200,000 on his own, but he hasn’t slowed down.

There are 17 active sheriffs from 14 different states who sit on the board of directors of CSPOA, and many of them have admitted that they did not live up to their oaths of office until recently because they simply didn’t know any better. Many are angry and repentant.

Some who would be there cannot—such as former sheriff Melvin Holly of Latimer County, Okla. He is incarcerated in federal prison. Holly’s crime: He attempted to stop a drug-running operation in his county that was apparently federally sanctioned. His error? He didn’t stop investigating and ended up framed for multiple sex crimes he says never happened. Holly was then convicted after witnesses reportedly received payoffs for their deceitful testimony.

It is a growing problem that all sheriffs face because of the Fed’s ability to create unconstitutional money and the feds’ ability to pass unconstitutional statutes legalizing payoffs to witnesses in the event of a conviction. But almost no lawyers, let alone sheriffs, even knew that these statutes existed before AFP’s story alerted them last year. See AFP’s Aug. 16, 2010 edition (#33) for that article.

“The bottom line is that county sheriffs need to know that their power exceeds that of federal interlopers,” pointed out Mack. “Ultimately, he is the one who will decide what is and what is not enforced in the county. He has the authority and an oath-bound duty to interpose himself on the citizen’s behalf to protect you from all enemies, both foreign and domestic. But a large majority of these 2,000 sheriffs just don’t know it.”

Georgians got a dose of this power on Dec. 1 when Fulton County (Atlanta) sheriff’s deputies defied a court by refusing to evict bedridden Vita Lee, 104, and her 83- year-old daughter from their home of 53 years.

“We are not in trouble in this country because we follow the Constitution too closely,” Mack told AFP. “Just the opposite. But there is a way to get back to it, sheriff by sheriff, county by county.”

A number of us bloggers did not believe for a minute (not even a half a second!) that Obama had successfully assassinated Osama bin Laden. There was so much prior proof that bin Laden was no longer in circulation from the faux video releases to the declaration from Benazir Bhutto (a reliable source...a least not a liar such as Obama) that when Obama could not come up with a simple photograph and the follow-up murders of any witnesses only the left wing media bragged about the falsity. ...actually the right wing talk-show hosts even got it wrong! The national crisis and American challenge we face

We have a worldview clash with Barack Hussein Obama. He has come against the very history, core and backbone of our country, surrounded by his progressives and leftists. The far left manages to destroy all the good words that used to have meaning. Have you noticed? Gay is now homosexual and Progressivism sounds so enlightened. It makes you think that you are simply moving forward. In truth, it is the new, face lifted name for socialist/Marxist communism.

Obama has fought against capitalism, American independence and achievement by taking over huge chunks of the auto industry, forcing unconstitutional health care on the American people with threat of fines or worse, shutting down many coal plants, and imposing ridiculous regulations on power plants. He is thrilled our utility rates and cost of energy is sky rocketing.

He has sided with despots, such as Zelaya of Honduras, Chavez, Hamas, Muslim Brotherhood, Islam in general as he has insulted and maligned Christians, Israel and Tea Party conservatives. He started viciously attacking Americans from the first ‘accidental’ release of the Miac report from Homeland security back in Spring 2008 identifying pro second amendment, pro life, pro state and federal sovereignty, returning vets and other conservatives as potential domestic terrorists. The insults and slander has only sky rocketed from there.

Obama is wrong for America, Judeo Christian values and our constitution. He has apologized numerous times for our country, while telling Turkish parliament and others we aren’t even a Christian nation. In fact, in between bowing low to Saudi Kings he has said we were one of the largest Muslim nations on earth.

The real Obama and his motives are revealed in his own books, background and who he continues to surround himself with. From his ‘mysterious not to be known’ college days on we see him surrounding himself with Communists, on boards and making friends with William Ayers, former member of the Weather Underground terrorist group, intent on attacking, killing, controlling and transforming America into a Communist regime.

We have seen Obama surround himself with a multitude of czars who are radical leftists, some believing and writing about the wonders of abortion even after birth for toddlers, animals being able to sue people and writing of putting forced birth control in Americas water system so women can’t become pregnant.

We also have a President who has many members of the Islamic terrorist group, Muslim brotherhood working in high level positions under him and with Hillary Clinton. He has backed and supported Muslim Brotherhood instead of our long term Alley Hosni Mubarak of Egypt during the Arab Spring uprising. Mubarak was certainly not perfect but a faithful alley, friend and moderate Muslim with a long standing treaty with Israel. Now he is on trial, Muslim Brotherhood is winning the first round of elections, Coptic Christians are being murdered and Cathedrals are burning to the ground. Oh yeah….and Israel is being threatened, treaties and years of peace are in the process of being crushed.

There has been nothing ‘Arab Spring’ about the uprising throughout the Middle East. Instead it would be more accurate to call what is going on there ‘radical regime change.’ Libya, Tunisia, Egypt, Syria, are all leaning more radical, more Sharia, more dangerous to Israel and America. Obama must be thrilled. The Islamic Caliphate moves forward.

Obama has managed to extend with his czars his dictatorial reach and completely bypass congress. With czars now managing, manipulating and ruining vast amounts of America, Obama bypasses congress. With his illegal war in Libya he completely bypassed congress and got his direction from the UN. With his forced Health care bill he has created with the progressive left an entirely unconstitutional health care plan with threat of fines if we don’t obey. 26 states and 2 Federal judges have already ruled against this and now we wait upon the Supreme Court. Will they judge rightly and for the people or not? We shall see.

We are a nation under an aggressive attack from within. Our Senate recently voted to allow our military the right to pick up US citizens without charges on vague terrorist suspicions. They can detain us without trial indefinitely. At least 72 FEMA camps are being activated all across the country. Why? Obama is positioning for total control.

Other attacks against America

Obama is not the only danger fighting against America. Global elitism, environmentalism our moral collapse and distance from the Holy Bible is delivering all the other crushing blows that threaten to destroy us.

Sustainability, Agenda 21, Greens, obsessions with ‘carbon emissions’ and warming, are all fronts for Marxism and Communistic take overs. At their core, these groups don’t believe in land ownership, growing what we want and achieving. They want to reign us in, allow us only so much food, water and freedom. Some only want us to drive so far in our cars then find a way to make the car stop. ‘Smart Grid’ now is digitally tracking our use of power in our house. The Feds could turn off your power if you went over an amount they saw as ‘too much.’ Do you like the idea of the Feds telling you in the privacy of your own home, what your rate will be, how much heat, air conditioning and electricity you can use before you are turned off?

I will work within my power as President to undo the following:

I will stand against and work to destroy the unconstitutional Health care bill.

I will come against any Federal support and push of environmentalism, Sustainability, Agenda 21, Cap and trade, land and environmental controls that threatens our freedom and business.

I will stop all Federal funding anywhere that supports and/or funds abortion and Planned Parenthood.

I will work within my power to undo the Start treaty that Obama signed with Russia, threatening the lead of our Nuclear program and ability to respond in kind if attacked.

I will restore and repair our relationship with Israel and stand against Hamas, Hesbola, Muslim Brotherhood and other radical Islamic sects with a history of attacks, threats and murder.

I will fire all Czars that Obama has appointed.

I will audit every department in the Federal Government and demand fiscal responsibility and accountability.

I will push for an outside audit of the Federal Reserve.

I will fight to reverse the Senate ruling that gave our Military the right to arrest and apprehend US citizens on vague terrorist charges, then hold them without charges and indefinitely. I will stop the activation of all FEMA camps.

I will stop the shutting down of Cole plants and overbearing regulations on Power plants.

What will I do while cleaning up the above nightmare and mess Obama has left us.

I will immediately craft a bill and get supporters to pass a 2% point of purchase tax and eradication of all Federal tax including income tax.

I will draw all leaders in all kinds of energy and develop bold plans to build infrastructure in all 50 states for oil, nuclear, natural gas, solar and alternative fuels. Once the 2% consumption tax is voted into law I will talk to the American people about our national wallet available to pay our bills. I will offer grants for energy infrastructure projects that will make us energy independent within 4 years and create millions of jobs.

I will put 20-50,000 National Guard troops on our borders to help secure them. I will also use satellite technology, fly overs, virtual and real fences to stop the illegal alien flow and drug trade.

I will bring our troops home from Libya which in my view is an illegal war and violation of the 1973 War powers act.

I will review critically Iraq and Afghanistan and work with our Generals and leaders to incrementally bring our troops home in a safe and systematic manner. We cannot turn victories into defeats.

I will get our country completely out of debt within 4 years.

Leftists run wild politicizing Navy

The responsibility for naming U.S. warships has traditionally been left to the secretary of the Navy. That needs to change. President Obama's Navy secretary, Ray Mabus, has politicized the christening process to the point where some form of oversight is needed.

The Senate version of the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act includes an amendment proposed by Sen. Roy Blunt, Missouri Republican, to "require a report on the policies and practices ... for naming the vessels of the Navy." The measure would require the secretary of defense to submit a report to Congress detailing current Navy policies for ship naming, the extent to which they vary from historical practices, and an assessment of the feasibility of establishing fixed policies for naming ships.

The catalyst for the amendment was the announcement last spring that the newest supply ship in the Navy's inventory would be named after labor leader Cesar Chavez. This radical served briefly in the Navy after World War II but did not accomplish anything noteworthy while in uniform. His claim to fame was solely from organizing migrant laborers and agitating for the rights of illegal immigrants. Rep. Duncan Hunter, California Republican, said at the time that naming a ship after Chavez appeared to be "more about making a political statement than upholding the Navy's history and tradition."
The Lewis and Clark class of dry cargo/ammunition ships are named for explorers and pioneers, such as Richard E. Byrd, Amelia Earhart, or the namesakes of the class. On Mr. Mabus' watch, the namings have taken a decidedly political turn. In 2009, the Navy announced the naming of the USNS Medgar Evars after the civil-rights leader. Sen. Barbara Boxer, California Democrat, defended the practice as part of the Navy's "rich tradition," but naming ships after political activists began with the Obama administration.

Mr. Mabus was also wrong to name the amphibious ship LPD-26 after the late Rep. John P. Murtha, breaking with the tradition of naming San Antonio class ships after U.S. cities. Although Murtha was a Marine, he was criticized by veterans groups for calling the U.S. Marines facing charges for killing 24 Iraqis in Haditha, Iraq, in 2005 "cold blooded killers." Almost all the charges were later dropped. When Murtha died in 2010, an extensive federal corruption investigation was underway against him. His name is not fit to carry our heroes to war.

Mr. Blunt questions whether such ship namings were "an appropriate thing to do or even related much to the military" and it would be useful for the secretary of the Navy to "go beyond his own desk" to justify them. Responsible officials need to "think more carefully about who we are going to name our Navy vessels after," he said. America and our sea services deserve better. This measure is a useful first step to return balance to a process that has been sullied by politics.

Wall St likes your amnesia

On November 27, Bloomberg News reported the results of its successful case to force the Federal Reserve to reveal the lending details of its 2008-09 bank bailout. [1] Bloomberg reported that by March 2009, the Fed had committed US$7.77 trillion in below-market loans and guarantees to rescuing the financial system; and that these nearly interest-free loans came without strings attached.

The Fed insisted that the loans were repaid and there have been no losses, but the Bloomberg report said the banks reaped a $13 billion windfall in profits; and "details suggest taxpayers paid a price beyond dollars as the secret funding helped preserve a broken status quo and enabled the biggest banks to grow even bigger."
The revelations provoked shock and outrage among commentators. But in a letter to the leaders of the House and Senate Committees focused on the financial services industry, Fed chairman Ben Bernanke responded on December 6 that the figures were greatly exaggerated. He said the loans were being double-counted: short-term loans rolled over from day to day were counted as separate cumulative loans rather than as a single extended loan.

Bloomberg was quick to rebut, denying any exaggerated claims. [2] But either way, the banks were clearly getting perks not available to the rest of us. As former congressman Alan Grayson observed in a December 5 editorial:

The main, if not the sole, qualification for getting help from the Fed was to have lost huge amounts of money. The Fed bailouts rewarded failure, and penalized success. ...

During all the time that the Fed was stuffing money into the pockets of failed banks, many Americans couldn't borrow a dime for a home, a car, or anything else. If the Fed had extended $26 trillion in credit to the American people instead of Wall Street, would there be 24 million Americans today who can't find a full-time job? [3]

All in the name of liquidity
It was all explained, said Grayson, with "the Fed's all-time favorite rationale for everything it does, 'increasing liquidity'." In 2008, bank liquidity dried up after Lehman Brothers collapsed, and the banks could not get the cheap, ready credit on which their lending scheme depends. The Fed then stepped in as "lender of last resort", doing what it had to do to keep the banking scheme going.

Left unexplained is why the banks' need for "liquidity" justifies such extraordinary measures. Why do banks need cheap and ready access to funds? Aren't they the lenders rather than the borrowers of funds? Don't they simply take in deposits and lend them out?

The answer is no. Today when banks make loans, they extend credit first, then fund the loans by borrowing from the cheapest available source. [4] If deposits are not available, they borrow from another bank, the money market, or the Federal Reserve.

Rather than loans being created from deposits, loans actually create deposits. They create deposits when checks are drawn on the borrower's account and deposited in another bank. The originating bank can then borrow these funds (or others created by the same process at another bank) at the Fed funds rate - currently a very low 0.25%. In effect, a bank can create money in the form of "bank credit", lend it to a customer at high interest, and borrow it back at very low interest, pocketing the difference as its profit.

If all this looks like sleight of hand, it is. The process has been compared to "check kiting," defined in Barron's Business Dictionary as:

[An] illegal scheme that establishes a false line of credit by the exchange of worthless checks between two banks. For instance, a check kiter might have empty checking accounts at two different banks, A and B. The kiter writes a check for $50,000 on the bank A account and deposits it in the bank B account. If the kiter has good credit at bank B, he will be able to draw funds against the deposited check before it clears, that is, is forwarded to bank A for payment and paid by bank A. Since the clearing process usually takes a few days, the kiter can use the $50,000 for a few days and then deposit it in the bank A account before the $50,000 check drawn on that account clears.

Setting things right
As suspicious as all this appears, the economy actually needs an expandable credit system, and an expandable credit system needs a lender of last resort. What is wrong with the current scheme is that it discriminates against Main Street in favor of Wall Street. Banks can borrow very cheaply, while individuals, corporations and governments pay "whatever the market will bear". The banker middlemen take their cut in a scheme in which money is actually manufactured in the process of lending it. The profits are siphoned off to the 1% at the expense of the 99%.

To fix the system, the profits need to be returned to the 99%. How that could be done was suggested by radio host and political commentator Thom Hartmann in a recent editorial:

Have the central bank owned by the US government and run by the Treasury Department, so all the profits ... go directly into the Treasury and you and I pay less in taxes... [6]

For a model on the local level, he pointed to the Bank of North Dakota:

The good people of North Dakota ... established something very much like this - the Bank of North Dakota - and it's kept the state in the black, and kept its farmers, manufacturers and students protected from the predations of New York banksters for nearly a century. It's time for every state to charter their own state bank, just like North Dakota did, and for the Treasury Department to either buy the Fed from the for-profit banks that own it, or simply nationalize it.

We have been distracted here and in Europe by a sudden panic over our "sovereign debt" crises, when the real crisis is that our debt is not sovereign. We are indentured to a Wall Street money machine that creates our money and lends it back to us at interest, money our sovereign government could be creating itself, with full democratic oversight and accountability to the people.

We have forgotten our roots, when the American colonists thrived on a system of money created by the people themselves, debt-free and interest-free. The continued dominance of the Wall Street money machine depends on that collective amnesia. The fact that this memory is surfacing again may be the machine's greatest threat - and our greatest hope as a nation.

I understand the importance of the new WikiLeaks documents. However, we must not let them distract us from the new information the Federal Reserve was forced to release. Even if WikiLeaks reveals documents from inside a large American bank, as huge as that could be, it will most likely pale in comparison to what we just found out from the one-time peek we got into the inner-workings of the Federal Reserve. This is the Wall Street equivalent of the Pentagon Papers.
I’ve written many reports detailing the crimes of Wall Street during this crisis. The level of fraud, from top to bottom, has been staggering. The lack of accountability and the complete disregard for the rule of law have made me and many of my colleagues extremely cynical and jaded when it comes to new evidence to pile on top of the mountain that we have already gathered. But we must not let our cynicism cloud our vision on the details within this new information.
Just when I thought the banksters couldn’t possibly shock me anymore… they did.
We were finally granted the honor and privilege of finding out the specifics, a limited one-time Federal Reserve view, of a secret taxpayer funded “backdoor bailout” by a small group of unelected bankers. This data release reveals “emergency lending programs” that doled out $12.3 TRILLION in taxpayer money – $3.3 trillion in liquidity, $9 trillion in “other financial arrangements.”
Wait, what? Did you say $12.3 TRILLION tax dollars were thrown around in secrecy by unelected bankers… and Congress didn’t know any of the details?
Yes. The Founding Fathers are rolling over in their graves. The original copy of the Constitution spontaneously burst into flames. The ghost of Tom Paine went running, stark raving mad screaming through the halls of Congress.
The Federal Reserve was secretly throwing around our money in unprecedented fashion, and it wasn’t just to the usual suspects like Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Citigroup, Bank of America, etc.; it was to the entire Global Banking Cartel. To central banks throughout the world: Australia, Denmark, Japan, Mexico, Norway, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, England… To the Fed’s foreign primary dealers like Credit Suisse (Switzerland), Deutsche Bank (Germany), Royal Bank of Scotland (U.K.), Barclays (U.K.), BNP Paribas (France)… All their Ponzi players were “gifted.” All the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations got their cut.

If you still had any question as to whether or not the United States is now the world’s preeminent banana republic, the final verdict was just delivered and the decision was unanimous. The ayes have it.

But now, even our strongest skeptics and the most ardent Wall Street supporters have it all laid out in front of them, on FEDERAL RESERVE SPREADSHEETS.
Even the Financial Times, which named Lloyd Blankfein its 2009 person of the year, reacted by reporting this: “The initial reactions were shock at the breadth of lending, particularly to foreign firms. But the details paint a bleaker and even more disturbing picture.”
Yes, the emperor doesn’t have any clothes. God is, indeed, dead. But, for the moment at least, the illusion continues to hold power. How is this possible?
To start with, as always, the US television “news” media (propaganda) networks just glossed over the whole thing – nothing to see here, just move along, back after a message from our sponsors… Other than that obvious reason, I’ve come to the realization that the Federal Reserve’s crimes are so big, so huge in scale, it is very hard for people to even wrap their head around it and comprehend what has happened here.
Think about it. In just this one peek we got at its operations, we learned that the Fed doled out $12.3 trillion in near-zero interest loans, without Congressional input.
The audacity and absurdity of it all is mind boggling…
Based on many conversations I’ve had with people, it seems that the average person doesn’t comprehend how much a trillion dollars is, let alone 12.3 trillion. You might as well just say 12.3 gazillion, because people don’t grasp a number that large, nor do they understand what would be possible if that money was used in other ways.
Can you imagine what we could do to restructure society with $12.3 trillion? Think about that…
People also can’t grasp the colossal crime committed because they keep hearing the word “loans.” People think of the loans they get. You borrow money, you pay it back with interest, no big deal.
That’s not what happened here. The Fed doled out $12.3 trillion in near-zero interest loans, using the American people as collateral, demanding nothing in return, other than a bunch of toxic assets in some cases. They only gave this money to a select group of insiders, at a time when very few had any money because all these same insiders and speculators crashed the system.
Do you get that? The very people most responsible for crashing the system, were then rewarded with trillions of our dollars. This gave that select group of insiders unlimited power to seize control of assets and have unprecedented leverage over almost everything within their economies – crony capitalism on steroids.
This was a hostile world takeover orchestrated through economic attacks by a very small group of unelected global bankers. They paralyzed the system, then were given the power to recreate it according to their own desires. No free market, no democracy of any kind. All done in secrecy. In the process, they gave themselves all-time record-breaking bonuses and impoverished tens of millions of people – they have put into motion a system that will inevitably collapse again and utterly destroy the very existence of what is left of an economic middle class.
That is not hyperbole. That is what happened.
We are talking about trillions of dollars secretly pumped into global banks, handpicked by a small select group of bankers themselves. All for the benefit of those bankers, and at the expense of everyone else. People can’t even comprehend what that means and the severe consequences that it entails, which we have only just begun to experience.
Let me sum it up for you: The American Dream is O-V-E-R.
Welcome to the neo-feudal-fascist state.
People throughout the world who keep using the dollar are either A) Part of the scam; B) Oblivious to reality; C) Believe that US military power will be able to maintain the value of an otherwise worthless currency; D) All of the above.
No matter which way you look at it, we are all in serious trouble!
If you are an elected official, (I know at least 17 of you subscribe to my newsletter) and you believe in the oath you took upon taking office, you must immediately demand a full audit of the Federal Reserve and have Ben Bernanke and the entire Federal Reserve Board detained. I’ll start with Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont). He was the senator who Bernanke blew off when he was asked for information on this heist during a congressional hearing. Sanders fought to get the amendment written into the financial “reform” bill that gave us this one-time peek into the Fed’s secret operations. (Remember, remember the 6th of May, HFT, flash crash and terrorism. “Hey, David, Homeland Security is on the phone! They want to ask you questions about some NYSE SLP program.”)
In an article entitled, “A Real Jaw-Dropper at the Federal Reserve,” Senator Sanders reveals some of the details:

At a Senate Budget Committee hearing in 2009, I asked Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke to tell the American people the names of the financial institutions that received an unprecedented backdoor bailout from the Federal Reserve, how much they received, and the exact terms of this assistance. He refused. A year and a half later… we have begun to lift the veil of secrecy at the Fed…
After years of stonewalling by the Fed, the American people are finally learning the incredible and jaw-dropping details of the Fed’s multi-trillion-dollar bailout of Wall Street and corporate America….
We have learned that the $700 billion Wall Street bailout… turned out to be pocket change compared to the trillions and trillions of dollars in near-zero interest loans and other financial arrangements the Federal Reserve doled out to every major financial institution in this country.…
Perhaps most surprising is the huge sum that went to bail out foreign private banks and corporations including two European megabanks — Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse — which were the largest beneficiaries of the Fed’s purchase of mortgage-backed securities….

In an article entitled, “The Fed Lied About Wall Street,” Zach Carter sums it up this way:

The Federal Reserve audit is full of frightening revelations about U.S. economic policy and those who implement it… By denying the solvency crisis, major bank executives who had run their companies into the ground were allowed to keep their jobs, and shareholders who had placed bad bets on their firms were allowed to collect government largesse, as bloated bonuses began paying out soon after.
But the banks themselves still faced a capital shortage, and were only kept above those critical capital thresholds because federal regulators were willing to look the other way, letting banks account for obvious losses as if they were profitable assets.
So based on the Fed audit data, it’s hard to conclude that Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke was telling the truth when he told Congress on March 3, 2009, that there were no zombie banks in the United States.
“I don’t think that any major U.S. bank is currently a zombie institution,” Bernanke said.
As Bernanke spoke those words banks had been pledging junk bonds as collateral under Fed facilities for several months…
This is the heart of today’s foreclosure fraud crisis. Banks are foreclosing on untold numbers of families who have never missed a payment, because rushing to foreclosure generates lucrative fees for the banks, whatever the costs to families and investors. This is, in fact, far worse than what Paul Krugman predicted. Not only are zombie banks failing to support the economy, they are actively sabotaging it with fraud in order to make up for their capital shortages. Meanwhile, regulators are aggressively looking the other way.
The Fed had to fix liquidity in 2008. That was its job. But as major banks went insolvent, the Fed and Treasury had a responsibility to fix that solvency issue—even though that meant requiring shareholders and executives to live up to losses. Instead, as the Fed audit tells us, policymakers knowingly ignored the real problem, pushing losses onto the American middle class in the process.” [read more]

In true Fed fashion, they didn’t even fully comply with Congress. In a report entitled, “Fed Withholds Collateral Data for $885 Billion in Financial-Crisis Loans,” Bloomberg puts some icing on the cake:

For three of the Fed’s six emergency facilities, the central bank released information on groups of collateral it accepted by asset type and rating, without specifying individual securities. Among them was the Primary Dealer Credit Facility, created in March 2008 to provide loans to brokers as Bear Stearns Cos. collapsed.
“This is a half-step,” said former Atlanta Fed research director Robert Eisenbeis, chief monetary economist at Cumberland Advisors Inc. in Sarasota, Florida. “If you were going to audit the facilities, then would this enable you to do an audit? The answer is ‘No,’ you would have to go in and look at the individual amounts of collateral and how it was broken down to do that. And that is the spirit of what the requirements were in Dodd-Frank.” [read more]

“The Fed’s current set of powers and the shape of the Dodd-Frank bill over all might have looked quite different if this information had been made public during the debate on the bill,” he said. “Had these tables been out there, I think Congress would have either said no to emergency lending authority or if you get it, it’s going to be a much lower number — half a trillion dollars in the aggregate.” [read more]

The banks and corporations that benefited were not even obliged to provide an account of what they did with the money. The entire purpose of the operation was to use public funds to cover the gambling losses of the American financial aristocracy, and create the conditions for the financiers and speculators to make even more money.
All of the 21,000 transactions cited in the Fed documents―released under a provision included, over the Fed’s objections, in this year’s financial regulatory overhaul bill―were carried out in secret. The unelected central bank operated without any congressional mandate or oversight.
The documents shed light on the greatest plundering of social resources in history. It was carried out under both the Republican Bush and Democratic Obama administrations. Those who organized the looting of the public treasury were long-time Wall Street insiders: men like Bush’s treasury secretary and former Goldman Sachs CEO Henry Paulson and the then-president of the New York Federal Reserve, Timothy Geithner….
The Fed documents show that the US central bank enabled banks and corporations to offload their bad debts onto the Fed’s balance sheet. Now, in order to prevent a collapse of the dollar and a default by the US government, the American people are being told they must sacrifice to reduce the national debt and budget deficit.
But as the vast sums make clear, the “sacrifice” being demanded of working people means their impoverishment―wage-cutting, mass unemployment, cuts in health care, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.
The very scale of the Fed bailout points to the scale of the financial crash and the criminality that fostered it…. The entire US capitalist economy rested on a huge Ponzi scheme that was bound to collapse…
The banks were able to take the cheap cash from the Fed and lend it back to the government at double and quadruple the interest rates they were initially charged―pocketing many billions in the process….

NARRAGANSETT, R.I. -- As part of its continued campaign against loud house parties, the Narragansett Town Council Monday night passed an ordinance by a 4-1 vote that would allow the town to bill property owners or renters for the costs of responding to public disturbances.

The council also asked the town solicitor to return with proposals to define the costs violators must pay, which are not specified in the ordinance.

In the paper: Wednesday, read the arguments for and against the new ordinance that allows the town to charge property owners or renters for the cost of responding to a loud house party.

Gasoline: The Next Big U.S. Export

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- The United States is awash in gasoline. So much so, in fact, that the country is exporting a record amount of it.
The country exported 430,000 more barrels of gasoline a day than it imported in September, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. That is about twice the amount at the start of the year, and experts and industry insiders say the trend is here to stay.
The United States began exporting gas in late 2008.* For decades prior, starting in 1960, the country used all the gas it produced here plus had to import gas from places in Europe.
But demand for gas has dropped nearly 10% in recent years. It went from a peak of 9.6 million barrels a day in 2007 to 8.8 million barrels today, according to the EIA. ... Story continues here
