This Land Is 'Our' Land...not yours Obama, not yours UN...Woody Guthrie's radical message

Woody Guthrie was more than an American folk singer, according to Matthew Fiander over at PopMatters he was an American Radical Patriot.  Fiander writes what I have decided, a Woody Guthrie infomercial.  Now don't get me wrong, some infomercials are pretty boring but if you have the faintest interest in American pop culture you'll find the piece very well written and it will surprise you with hitherto unknown (at least not widespread) facts about the purpose behind some of Guthrie's music.  If the revelation that Guthrie was used by the government has sinister overtones don't let that bother you...nothing in the write-up leads one to to think so.  Apparently Guthrie's musical messages were meant to inform an otherwise un-informed population.  We could use someone like Woody today to counteract the Alinskism (defined here) infomercials put out by the Obama Administration because the population is less informed today than it was in Guthrie's time.   The following Woody Guthrie song has seen its popularity come and go over the years but has I re-listen to it's message I say, "Bring it on people!  Go on down to the United Nations and sing this song loud and clear, 'This land is your land, this land is my land, this land was made for you and me...' and not the UN's Agenda 21 nor the Obama Adminstration's desire to take over all private property."  ~ Norman E.
